The Vancouver no bake cheesecake was delish. Light, airy, fluffy, not overly sweet. The strawberry drizzle tasted good and didn't taste bad or artificial. My husband enjoyed his banana bread. And we liked the sausage roll, their oven to heat it up unfortunately wasn't working so they microwaved it. It was good but of course would've been even better if toasted. I had an organic rooibos tea and enjoyed that they have a good selection of teas to choose from as well as caffeine free and an organic option. The girl serving us was super nice, friendly and helpful. A chill spot to hang out for a snack and a drink.

This café has a good selection of coffee concoctions and desserts, including keto and gluten free alternatives. I ordered the Keto Strawberry Cheesecake it was creamy and tasty. I also had the Gluten-Free Pecan Tart that I found was more enjoyable. The cappuccino was very solid and found no problems with the drink. The establishment has a nice traditional aesthetic to it with mild lighting. Afterthoughts is a great place to have a caffeinated drink and snack. It would be great if this place had a menu for of full meals.

Their chicken coop is just right across from The Egg Store. I got 30 organic eggs for $15. The prices here are very reasonable. They also sell other items like berries, soup and etc. There are plenty of parking in front. Service was good. The one thing that caught my attention here is that they have an egg vending machine outside. That is so convenient for those who can't make in during their store hours.

Note that they do serve tater tots after 4, but you have to specify when you're ordering, otherwise it's just kettle cooked chips (which were also good). The staff was friendly and there's plenty of seating, including an upstairs seating area. I loved looking around the adjoining bookstore before deciding on my food. The tables and seats were rustic, in a comforting old fashioned way.

Karl's Meat has all of that and a bit more. Great selection of deli meat, poultry, beef, and pork with usual daily specials. They shine in the Dutch department which blew me away and they have a lot of great Dutch products all from Holland such as cleaning aids, wooden shoes, flags, shirts, and of course food. For those who collect those blue and white plates and cups there are plenty about. I love the selection of chocolates, candies, croquettes, olyballen, and stropies. I always get a kick shopping here because most of the people who shop there are Dutch and of course they speak it in the store so it's fun listening to their conversations about the other shoppers and even about me when I'm in line (terrible) The kicker is that I understand 100% of what they are saying, so there's no fooling me ha ha

When I told the fellow who was there that I paid much less for it in Mission , he told me he did not believe me, that it must have been a smaller size I had purchased. I assured him it was not and that I would not lie about it. He told me he would go see for himself on Tuesday. I left, deciding that I would wait and buy some on Tuesday. I did however return to Healthway Market with my close to empty bottle of nectar, the price tag and name of store still attached and the receipt in my hand. I told him I came to show him the items and proof as I did not really appreciate being called a liar. I no sooner said so , he denied saying that and he immediately blew up, started yelling at me, telling me to get my a_ _ out of the store, I turned to call out to my husband and this guy again yelled at me to get my f_ _ _ ing a_ _ out of his store and never come back!!!!! He was absolutely livid and was so close to me as I neared the door I was concerned he would shove me out the door adding physical assault to the verbal assault I had just endured. Thankfully he kept his hands to himself and only grabbed the door and locked it. So much for welcoming new customers. I have never in my life been treated so badly for simply showing that I was being HONEST with him from the start. Not so HEALTHWAY I'd say.
