We had so much fun at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Branson! It's a must-see for movie lovers and was one of those rare activities that entertained our entire family, which is not always easy with our mix of personalities. It was definitely a little pricey, but honestly, we felt it was worth the money. I would recommend getting the trio package so you can enjoy the other nearby attractions as well. My biggest advice is to take your time! We moved through it pretty quickly, and if I did it again, I would slow down, take more pictures, and really soak in the experience. Had family visit so we spent a day in Branson. Got the Fiver Pass (highly recommend because it's the best value). It's good for this wax museum, the aquarium down the street, the house of mirrors right next door, the castle of chaos (in the same building as the house of mirrors) and the mini golf course right across the parking lot. The Wax museum was fun and interesting. My favorite part was the horror section. It was a nice, creepy display. When my daughter and I were in Branson back in August, we drove by this place a few times and my daughter was really wanting to go. So we purchased a combo pass that had this included, and we went! Entry was easy; have them scan the pass and you are in. It was fun to walk around and see all of the actors/musicians/other famous people. My daughter really got a kick out of it. There was a lot more than I thought there was going to be. the 'scenes' that they set up for each wax figure was fun too. Anyone that went through this museum and had less than a spectacular experience had to have been doing it wrong. We had our picture taken in different poses the minute we walked through the door, which instantly put us in a fantastic mood. From there, we made our way through different celebrities and even some horror icons. The detail on each one was amazing. There were even areas you could pose with them. If you've heard bad things about this wax museum, ignore them because this place has much improved! Yes, some of the figures aren't great, and Madame Tussaud's does it better overall, but they have some great wax figures in here. They also have lots of props you can use in your photos and videos. It's a lot of fun. We had been to their other location in Pigeon Forge many years ago, and most of the figures didn't look anything like the celebrities. But after going to this one, I can say their wax artists have gotten much better. There's a small but fun gift shop at the end. read more

This place is sweet you also have a king king wax experience which you have to pay for separately. The was figures are very accurate to there different topics . The staff here are sorta rude and will rush you . The prices here are $30 per person which is definitely expensive for a wax museum . I feel like I just got robbed! Took us 10 minutes with my husband and 4 year old for $97 bucks! I feel violated! They charged $17 dollars for my 4 year old and she Doesnt even know any of the actors and singers. Don't waste your money! you would think these creepy wax statues would be made of gold freaking ridiculous!! stop robbing people! The entire place doesn't seem rushed and it was fun to walk around and look at the statues. Price was right, it just depends if you like this sort of thing. I do so I can surely say it was worth it. Pricey but it was fun. I only did the regular admission not the all access pass. Statues were fine, many of them had props you can use for your pictures. I went there a little while ago and there weren't a lot of people. If you come and there are very few people ahead of you, I recommend using the props to make the most out of your visit instead of just walking through. The staff was present at the front. read more

We haven't been here in a few years and figured since it was one of the few things open super late at night so we would see what has changed. We had a good time seeing all the new west figures that have shown up and all the old ones that are still there. We bought the VIP package where you can go to the wax museum, mirror, maze, put put golf, and VR area. We did not do mini golf, since it was about 41° outside. Cost about $65 for both of us to do these three areas we chose to do. They did have military discount which is awesome. We did not buy the pictures. You can take at the beginning of the wax museum like we always do but they cost about $20 apiece and have a bundle deal, the more you buy the cheaper it is. The mirror may seem to take us a little bit longer than usual and we had a blast shooting up the los banditos. All in all this is a great place to stop and visit. read more

This was a fun place and the workers were friendly. But I thought it was 50/50 on the wax works. Some, like John Wayne and Clint Eastwood were really good. Others like Taylor Swift and Julia Roberts were pretty bad. I would think it would not be to hard to catch the essence of Taylor, yet she looked like someone in drag. But, you also got a house of mirrors maze which the kids loved. They even had a simulator ride in which you were able to try and shoot the bad guys. It was situated in the old west and you rode a train, went down shooting rapids and all the while moving all over and streaking down a waterfall. It was all pretty cool. They also had a mini golf course (as does most of Branson it seems) but we did not do that. We spent about 3 hours and had a lot of fun. I would recommend the Hollywood Wax Museum as long as your expectations are not to high on some of the likenesses that were represented. read more

Had a great time with all the figures at the Hollywood Wax Museum. There was a wide variety of characters with a great break in the middle with a game of shooting bullseyes with fake rifles. The biggest downfall was that the figures were obviously not well done as you get closer. Some of the figures were a little scary. My son and I went on march 13, 2022. My son is 19 and autistic. The people there were amazing and so very helpful. We did the wax museum part only. My son was having an off day and was not using his works to communicate. As we finished the tour and went to the shop, William and Max were working and William asked if we had a all access pass. I let him know we just did the wax museum today that nathan was having an off day and not communicating. William abs Max let me know that if we ever wanted to do the mirror maze that they would be happy to help guide us through if my son would like to try it. The Hollywood Wax Museum was a really great family experience while visiting Branson! They required masks while walking around but you could take them off while taking pictures with the figures. I paid $22.95 to experience the Hollywood Wax Museum + Castle of Chaos. Was it worth it? Hmm....still thinking....I think my answer is I'd rather have paid $17.95 just to see the Hollywood Wax Museum (although I think it was worth more like $10). Some of the wax creations were spot on but David Hasselhoff was down right scary looking. Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger looked puny compared to their real life physique. And, Elvis Presley looked nothing like Elvis Presley Castle of Chaos (right next door; offered as a package deal for an additional $5) was a waste of time. We love the Maze of Mirrors it is always a good time for the whole family. We also have a good time in the wax museum, stopping a taking pictures with the "stars". If you are looking for some enjoyable family fun these are the places to go. You go at your own pace so you can spend as much time inside as you want "(ours was about 1 to 1 1/2 hours). The staff have always been welcoming and friendly. We purchased the bundle package and got to do the wax museum, putt putt golf, virtual video game and house of mirrors. The wax museum has a lot of props you can use and they allow you to take pictures with the figures which was fun. We enjoyed the virtual video game so much that we spent $10 and played the second one they have on site. Only downfall here is the games go by real fast. The house of mirrors was our least favorite and it was a short maze to go thru. Putt Putt golf was fun, the course was clean and had lot's of Hollywood references. I will state that the majority of the speakers at each hole was broken, but you could read about the statues, etc. Outside the museum is lot's of cool things to take photos of!
