I have been a Ripley's fan since reading his Believe It or Not paperbacks as a kid. There is a huge collection of Believe It or Not items plus unique & odd stuff. Lots of posters from Ripley's magazines and books throughout. Lots of displays & interactive things for the kids. There were lots of kids that were having a good time.

This was my 1st time coming to a Ripley's Believe It or Not and I must say everything here is so cool. I admire the outside displays and it feels like you're getting a sneak peek of what's to come on the inside. The museum is pretty big and I find it educational to read the history behind the artifacts. You can spend maybe 2 hours here if you're taking your time and looking at each display. Some of the displays you can interact with which I found fun. The customer service is great and at the end is a neat souvenir shop to bring home some merchandise.

One of the most interesting museums I've ever been to! So many interesting things to see and interact with. Definitely recommend! 11/10

It was cold and rainy and we needed something dry and warm to do. It was entertaining and a fun way to spend an hour . Just think it's over priced for what it is. But that's ok what do you expect in a tourist town.

What a great place to take the family. Took my 16 year old here was afraid he was not going to enjoy it. But we all enjoyed it the entire family. It is a walk through active museum. Showing the history of all the freaks and geeks and creative people in the world. It has great photo opportunities and fun things to do. I would recommend taking your family through this fun filled activity replys believe it or not museum.

Not as amazing as I remember it being as a kid. Definitely shorter than I remember it. First off we tried to buy tickets online for a discount @ $33 total for 2 adult tickets. The site froze up, so we figured we'd buy inside. Bad move. It was $45 total. When I told the cashier we tried and couldn't buy online, she said she could've given us the discount if we had mentioned it before he inserted his card. I didn't press the issue, but really? So you're telling me you can't just cancel this authorization and re ring it? Come on! Wouldn't have been worth is @ $33, and certainly wasn't at $45. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Also, we lost a dollar in the target shooting game. Couldn't find an employee to get them to fix it and didn't feel like dealing with it at the end. We looked at everything and it only took about 20 minutes to get thru. Sad.

    Fun photo ops!

This is geared more towards kids. Kinda and underwhelming experience for older visitors. I think I would have appreciated an introduction to the museum.

Excellent museum for passing about two hours. They have a large collection of fun facts posters, oddities, manikins, and displays. A few hands on fun items but not too many.

A fun outing with family. I do recommend buying tickets online because you can save big time! If you have been to one Ripley's they all are basically the same they have a lot of strange things and interactive exhibits which challenge you mind to think of the odd, however this one is a little more interesting on the unique items they have within their art. They also have an upstairs shooting gallery set up like the wild west which displays some of the interesting facts of some of the oddities. Good time for an afternoon for those on vacation or locally.

The museum is named after a Missouri radio and TV pioneer who operated out of nearby Springfield. So, there's a room dedicated to Ralph Foster and his broadcast achievements. Adjacent is a room covering his most popular Grand Ol' Opry style show and the country music stars who visited it. The TV Clampett's 1921 Oldsmobile truck from the Beverly Hillbillies has central placement on the first floor; the series creator was from the area. Famous Missourian and artist Thomas Hart Benton has an exhibit space of his landscapes. The second floor largely contains guns and taxidermic works of animals from around the world--both donated collections. Famed entertainer Andy Williams has a small exhibit of his Christmas sweaters due to his long-time residency in Branson. There's also space devoted to the history of College of the Ozarks. And so it goes. While some exhibits are exhaustively detailed, others--particularly the animals--have cursory descriptions. A beautiful exhibit of hundreds of mounted birds includes only the name of each, with some names so jumbled together it's confusing which bird is which. The animal descriptions are lightly proofread Encarta notes--a digital encyclopedia discontinued before 2010. The museum, however, offers a good diversion and you can easily spend a couple of hours here. It's well worth the low light entry expense, which will particularly appeal to families and seniors.

During the school year, students work 15 hours per week to pay their tuition, so it's called Hard Work U. It's a must-see place; you won't be disappointed.

I had to speed through some rooms to get to a spot where I was alone so I could catch my breath to stop the tears welling in my eyes. I'm extremely critical of the US Military Industrial Complex and it makes me so angry and sad to see all the names of the people who died and their families ripped apart for the benefit of bankers, military contractors and politicians. There are a lot of neat artifacts in here going back to WWI. My favorite artifact was the vest for a carrier pigeon. If you're interested in politics or history or the military, this is a nice museum to stop at as an adult. I wouldn't bring small children here because the subject matter is too heavy.
