It was neat to see big the dinosaurs were and how detailed they were however it didn't take very long at all to go to get through it.

Fun stop for a rainy day. Lots of cool realistic dinos. I'll be bringing my baby back some day.

What a pleasant surprise find in Branson! The modest facade hides a treasure of information. They have a 'game' that's fun for both kids & adults. The life size models are impressive. I read another reviewer's assessment that it was too small. My take is that it is jammed packed so no wasted movement.

Great little museum for young and young at heart dino lovers! Fun scavenger hunt, lots of models to see, great gift shop, and tons of photo ops. The employees are kind, friendly and patient...and will take the time to answer all your questions. The restrooms are spacious and clean. Stop in and visit. I am thankful we did.

It's short, dank, and has a leaky roof, but my 4 and 5 yr old loved it. Good for a rainy day. The placards are so poorly written they sound like a poorly educated 6th grader wrote them. Again, my kids loved it. Dinosaurs look pretty cool really. On a side note, why don't the dinosaurs in these museums ever have an anus? How did dinosaurs poop? Anyway, take your kids if it's raining, it'll burn an hour.

Listen. I don't know why you would rate this so low. This was the best time ever. They even have a scavenger hunt. The girl running the counter was super friendly. My husband and I had a blast and the price was perfect.

Great for younger kids, my 4 year old went through it 3 times, good value, probably not great for older teenagers though

A very cute concept. But we we're done walking through the museum in 10 minutes. Wish there we're some interactive projects for the kids.

Good place to go to with great looking dinosaurs the only downside is that there is only about 30 models of dinosaurs

My son loved it and didn't want to leave. The museum itself was kind of small but if your kid likes Dino's they will love it.

The museum is named after a Missouri radio and TV pioneer who operated out of nearby Springfield. So, there's a room dedicated to Ralph Foster and his broadcast achievements. Adjacent is a room covering his most popular Grand Ol' Opry style show and the country music stars who visited it. The TV Clampett's 1921 Oldsmobile truck from the Beverly Hillbillies has central placement on the first floor; the series creator was from the area. Famous Missourian and artist Thomas Hart Benton has an exhibit space of his landscapes. The second floor largely contains guns and taxidermic works of animals from around the world--both donated collections. Famed entertainer Andy Williams has a small exhibit of his Christmas sweaters due to his long-time residency in Branson. There's also space devoted to the history of College of the Ozarks. And so it goes. While some exhibits are exhaustively detailed, others--particularly the animals--have cursory descriptions. A beautiful exhibit of hundreds of mounted birds includes only the name of each, with some names so jumbled together it's confusing which bird is which. The animal descriptions are lightly proofread Encarta notes--a digital encyclopedia discontinued before 2010. The museum, however, offers a good diversion and you can easily spend a couple of hours here. It's well worth the low light entry expense, which will particularly appeal to families and seniors.

The staff were also wonderful: they are college students who work during the summer to pay for their room and board. During the school year, students work 15 hours per week to pay their tuition, so it's called Hard Work U. It's a must-see place; you won't be disappointed.

From Pearl Harbor to Fort Monroe, Little Bighorn to Fort De Soto and everywhere in between, we've been there. Like many Americans I've had grandparents, aunts, uncles, and extended family going back every generation that we've traced that have served in US wars going back to the Revolutionary War. I had to speed through some rooms to get to a spot where I was alone so I could catch my breath to stop the tears welling in my eyes. I'm extremely critical of the US Military Industrial Complex and it makes me so angry and sad to see all the names of the people who died and their families ripped apart for the benefit of bankers, military contractors and politicians. There are a lot of neat artifacts in here going back to WWI. My favorite artifact was the vest for a carrier pigeon. If you're interested in politics or history or the military, this is a nice museum to stop at as an adult. I wouldn't bring small children here because the subject matter is too heavy.
