What does it say about you if you visit the World's LARGEST Toy Museum, wander into the Star Wars section and realize you had 98% of everything in there at one point in time? We're nerds. We're lovers of toys. So much so that we used to own a toy store, a pop culture store, and antique booths that sold, you guessed it, TOYS. To say we're toy lovers is an understatement (anyone who sees photos of our RV knows we LOVE toys). So while we weren't sure what to expect when we walked in this place, needless to say we were blown away. Overwhelmed. Taken back in time, then thrown into memories, then wondering why we sold it all to RV full-time. Oh yeah, to have adventures and discover epic places like THIS! If you love toys, you're going to love this place. Yes, it's 3 buildings. BIG buildings. But they have so. many. toys. there's not one building big enough to put them all in. Be prepared to walk, and laugh at the staff's jokes. Everyone was helpful and you can tell they keep a playful attitude!

Spent HOURS in here on my vacation examining every trinket-filled case and had the most incredible time. The archival work is truly amazing and the people who run it are so knowledgeable and nice! This is definitely one of the best attractions in Branson, the kind of thing you find yourself thinking about months later like, "Damn, that was insanely cool actually lol" I want to go back!

What a great place to experience!!! The staff are incredibly friendly and the museum is very clean and contains so many unique items.

(I went on a vacation to Branson Missouri.) a big amount of toys! though, wish they had one big building except for 3 different buildings. Super super super nice employees!!! they had old toys and very old toys! (aka different varieties) 42$ (had 2 adults and 4 kids) (not pricy for us)

My husband and I went here on our trip to Branson. It was by far our favorite stop. The gentleman who worked at the museum was nice and funny. There were 2 full buildings full of toys. Remembering the toys of our youth and seeing them on display was awesome. Some of them even had the price tags on them from when they were purchased. Would definitely recommend this place. It was awesome.

Spent 4 hours going through 2 buildings and multiple floors. Terrific staff was helpful. Saw so many cool things. Highly recommended for those in town. Well worth the admission price! Split the day in half with 2 hours, then lunch, then 2 more hours. Great fun!

I wasn't sure what to expect when we decided to go to the Toy Museum, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have never seen so many toys in one place. Seeing some of the toys brought back childhood memories for me and my husband. There is something interesting at this museum for everyone. There are interactive activities, history in many of the toys, and so much more. The staff was so kind and enthusiastic! They were also knowledgeable about the different parts of the museum. You can take as much time as you need (within business hours).

GO AGAIN: Yes. Very extensive and interesting museum. We like to find toys we'd had as kids. Packed with all kids of toys.

Okay for an hour or so. More fun for nostalgic adults than for kids. Toy shop inside has some good deals.

The museum is named after a Missouri radio and TV pioneer who operated out of nearby Springfield. So, there's a room dedicated to Ralph Foster and his broadcast achievements. Adjacent is a room covering his most popular Grand Ol' Opry style show and the country music stars who visited it. The TV Clampett's 1921 Oldsmobile truck from the Beverly Hillbillies has central placement on the first floor; the series creator was from the area. Famous Missourian and artist Thomas Hart Benton has an exhibit space of his landscapes. The second floor largely contains guns and taxidermic works of animals from around the world--both donated collections. Famed entertainer Andy Williams has a small exhibit of his Christmas sweaters due to his long-time residency in Branson. There's also space devoted to the history of College of the Ozarks. And so it goes. While some exhibits are exhaustively detailed, others--particularly the animals--have cursory descriptions. A beautiful exhibit of hundreds of mounted birds includes only the name of each, with some names so jumbled together it's confusing which bird is which. The animal descriptions are lightly proofread Encarta notes--a digital encyclopedia discontinued before 2010. The museum, however, offers a good diversion and you can easily spend a couple of hours here. It's well worth the low light entry expense, which will particularly appeal to families and seniors.

This was such an incredibly cool hidden gem! This museum has it all, including the Beverly…read moreHillbillies car, thousands of amazing old artifacts from the Ozarks and around the world (some from Biblical times), the biggest collection of weapons I've ever seen, incredible animal exhibits, and many other items. The staff were also wonderful: they are college students who work during the summer to pay for their room and board. During the school year, students work 15 hours per week to pay their tuition, so it's called Hard Work U. It's a must-see place; you won't be disappointed.

Engine, inside, outside looked nice but the engine was shot. They wouldn't let me test drive it off the premises so I couldn't tell much just driving it in the parking lot. It was running badly but like a lot of classic cars I thought it was cold and needed to warm up. I got it home and it was still running badly. I called them back and I got the message machine. I never heard from them again. I had the carburetor adjusted, didn't help. I put new plugs and wires, (tune up) didn't help. I changed the distributer. didn't help. Checked the compression, THERE IT WAS. No compression on every cylinder. I called again, no answer, left a message. Never heard from them again. Out enjoying the money I just gave them I guess! I'm rebuilding the motor now. It's been a little over a year since the parts are hard to find for a Buick 340. Again, BE CAREFUL AND CHECK EVERYTHING. THEY ARE UNTRUSTWORTHY!

This is a low-key dinosaur museum. They have their own free private parking spots. The museum is…read morelarger than it looks, but is not huge. You start and end your tour in the museum's gift shop. They do not have any animated dinosaurs, just a bunch of life sized statues of them. The museum offers a scavenger hunt, where you find 10 gold fossils throughout the museum. If you successfully complete the scavenger hunt, you get 10% off your gift shop purchases. I found the scavenger a bit distracting though. My kids were more focused on the scavenger hunt than enjoying and learning from the museum. In addition to the many dinosaur statues, the museum has pre-historic human skulls, fun facts, fossil imprints, and a very small theater where they have a dinosaur movie playing on loop. It took us about 30 to 45 minutes to go through the entire museum. And they seemed pretty common for all the other visitors that I saw. The gift shop has toys, stuffed animals, coloring books, posters books, and other novelties. The museum's dinosaurs are realistic, well put together and I enjoyed my brief time there. It is one of the more reasonably priced attractions in Branson, but is not a big time consumer. Be sure to check their website. They listed a code word on there to use when I purchased tickets that saved me $2 on adult admission. They will not volunteer this information, so be sure to look. The word I used was DINOROAR 2023. Not sure how long that word will be valid though, so I would just double check before you go.
