The snack pricez were really good. We had the movie combo and the actually gave you a pack of skittles, not the little pack of gummies. The restroom was really clean. I like how high the toilets were, not low at all. They also had hand sanitizer at the entrance of the restroom and each theatre entrance We actually had the entire movie spot to ourselves, but they did have the rows marked- evey other row for physical distancing.

The good thing is that it's an updated theatre and they have a good rewards program. Recently they have gone cashless so keep that in mind. You purchase tickets inside the theatre doors at a kiosk station. They closed the walk up booth outside. They also have a small arcade inside. The food is standard movie options but they do sell daiquiris as well. Nice recliner seats and the theater has always been clean when we go.

I don't go to the movies more than once or twice a year for a variety of reasons (mainly due to the audience around me not being respectful and at the high cost of a movie ticket, I don't always see the value), but I wanted to see The Bride in a theater and I was thrilled to see it was playing here. The lovely ticket salesperson was very welcoming and a great representation of the theater. The concession/bartenders, however... I felt disliked and I try to lead with kindness so I'm not sure if it was a rough night or whatever. The guy cleaning the theater was also super nice and I felt bad that he was doing it on his own, given how inconsiderate movie patrons can be (is it so hard to take your trash out with you?) The movie experience itself was very good, with stadium style seating that I didn't expect. Prices are lower than at your typical AMC etc and I appreciated the wine selection. I also admired their community events and special showings. It reminded me a lot of one of my favorite arthouses in NYC, the Angelika.

We love to catch their $6 Tuesday promotion since it's usually a lot less people to disturb and they always have a good selection of films both new and classics. This was my first time getting a cocktail here and it was GOOD and STRONG lol. I there's also an arcade area and Little Free Library inside which we love.

The venue was decorated nicely for the holidays and everyone seemed happy to be there. We were able to seat ourselves and we ordered drinks from the bar. And who goes to the movies without getting popcorn? I was pleasantly surprised to see they had caramel popcorn--you can smell it as soon as you walk in. That said, the theater is definitely older. The reclining seats show a lot of wear, and it's clear it's a shadow of what it used to be. When I went, there were only about eight other people in the theater, so it was quiet but also a little empty. Overall, it's not my first choice for seeing a movie, but if the film I want is only playing here, I'd still go and chalk it up for the convenience.

The parking lot looks like a slight upgrade from the movie I am Legend. It's dark with overgrown weeds and trees, which some are covering the existing parking lot lighting. When you walk in, there's nobody to greet you, and also no kiosk to purchase tickets. You have to stand in line with everyone else including those in line for concessions. With the price of movie tickets, you'd expect this not to be a thing. Fortunately since it was a private showing, we already had tickets, however I stood in line for popcorn which took nearly 30 minutes with only 2 other guests in front of me who each walked away with 2 medium popcorns and 2 drinks. Another gentleman was quite annoyed and voiced his frustration about having to stand in the same line as concessions to purchase tickets stating how ridiculous it was and I agree. Once seated, the leather like seats were old, worn and peeling terribly. It was so bad, my friend who had on a white sweater, had pieces of the fabric all over the back of her sweater. I probably won't visit this theater unless free or until upgrades are done. Regal really needs to step up their game!

The lobby was like stepping into a magical place with old school movie posters. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being there. I could just sit and talk story with strangers about cinema for hours. Wish I could travel to NOLA every month just to watch movies at the Prytania. Why I became an actor and filmmaker was confirmed here.
