I love this little theater! It's locally owned and so cute inside. There's even a little library with books and VHS tapes!! Good popcorn. Good drinks. I wish the parking lot were bigger. But any amount of parking in the city is welcome. I'll always return to enjoy movies here

    Super cool, small movie theater

I give this tiny theater, five stars for quaint awesomeness. This is the opposite of the gigantic regal. They serve drinks, yummy snacks, and even hotdogs everything was delicious. I really enjoyed my movie in the comfortable seats. I will have to say that it is not a big super chain and maybe a little bit on the rustic side. But that said, I thought it was really cool, and I will totally go back.

Locally/privately run theater , small intimate setting ! Found on Google search to catch The Color Purple Movie!! Was clean and very functional. Very safe area in New Orleans not far from the French quarter . It's a must visit !!! Have all the amenities (small arcade ) and food/candy as the large movie theater chains!! Definitely worth a visit !!! Serve beer and wine..and I think I saw margaritas on the menu but can't be sure on that !! Unsure if have food other than nachos ! The popcorn was delicious and fresh !!

Good spot to chill and play some pinball.

Super cool spot to hang out, even if not seeing a movie. I spent a couple hours here late in the day into the night drinking beer and playing pinball. The games were all pretty well taken care of. The bar was inexpensive, and the food the good.

First of all the bar! Excellent bar service and excellent cocktails. I had the hibiscus margarita and it was so refreshing! I went here to see the movie NOPE. I had the big tub of popcorn with extra butter as well. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the place was clean. I enjoyed the movie too!

Having been in New Orleans for 7 years, this was my first visiting the Broad Theater! It's a historic Black owned theater in one of the many New Orleans neighborhoods. There's a small parking lot and street parking available for its patrons. Inside, there's a small bar and kitchen to order drinks, cocktails, popcorn and small bites. My friends and I arrived early so we sat at the bar and ordered up a Crown and Ginger Beer. If you've never tried that combo, please do! However, beware the ginger kills the taste of crown and before you know it you will have drank a few and your tipsy! I ordered another C&G and small extra buttery popcorn! The seat is first come, first served. It was 3/4 full upon walking in to grab our seats. I don't know about anyone else but I'm always cold in the theater! Since this theater room is so small, I felt like air was blasting directly on me- I needed a Blanket. I survived two hours & half hours though. Oh, we went to see Queen & Slim. Completely shot in New Orleans! The movie is bomb, my vote is it's the BEST film of 2019! I'll be back again!

My favorite theater - it's such a gem. The staff is always friendly. They have the best popcorn! The bar area is very cozy and cute. The old school theatre adds such a nostalgic vibe.

Comfy, convenient, cocktails, cuisine what more could you ask for. So much better than the big empty theaters.

No lean back, recliner, vibrating chairs, with food service served to you. No it is just a plain small theatre with one popcorn machine, a few concessions people, some candy for sale, a nice somewhat elaborate coffee barista area, and a few select movies showing. I love the quaintness of this theatre. I loved the quirky decor. And I really enjoyed their coffee as well. I came here during the winter when they were showing It's a Wonderful Life. Not only was it was my first time here at the this theatre, it was also my first time seeing this movie. Prior to the showing, a worker stood in front of the theatre to address the crowd with beautiful facts about the movie and Jimmy Stewart. It is an annual event, so if you are curious this is a great way to spend an afternoon. They also have a soap machine making what represents "Snow" outside as you enter the establishment. People also came dressed up in fun winter and Christmas gear. I highly recommend this being done at least once. And if not for this annual showing, any fun date.

Why I became an actor and filmmaker was confirmed here.

The venue is very laid back, with a neighborhood feel and it caters to everyone. Whether your a "good ole boy" or a "hipster", you will have fun! They have top shelf alcohol that's reasonably priced. The owner, René, is super nice and loves to chat. The bartenders are the same and are not stingy with their pours. Another great thing about this place is even though they sell alcohol, the theater is separate from the bar, so kids are welcome to come watch a good movie! PET FRIENDLY! Plenty of parking! You NEED to give this place a try!
