Each bridesmaid had to have their hair re-done by a hairstylist from a different vendor to fix what they did. They did not seem to listen to the style being asked or able to execute them properly. They very much do "old school" hair (I.e- very tight buns, large poofs, etc) again, not at all the vibe anyone asked for. -Seemed to be a lack of communication/organization between the studio and the bride The studio brought more stylists than agreed upon, and threatened to charge the bride if their "chairs were not filled". Again, lacking professionalism with the way they handled this.

Everyone else wanted to put their own touch on it and it always ended up looking "small town mom" and a total disappointment. It was funny how she would go from chatty stylist to semi salesperson when she'd mention a product but that was minor and very low pressure (I hate sales pitches). She explained each step of the process and suggested some alterations to the cut that made sense with my hair/face combo. I got one side shaved and appreciated her just hopping in and doing it without the weird little build up/"areyousure?theresnoturningback" freak out some stylists do when you want to make more than a slight change. She waxed and shaped my brows too and they look much more polished. I have the slightest bruise on one lid but that happens about every third time i get them done so I can't blame that on her, in fact my brows usually are flame red for the rest of the day after a wax and they returned to their normal color by the time I left and I could actually go somewhere else in town I stead of hiding at home! I've washed and styled at home since the cut and it still looks great. It's a properly done cut that can be restyled at home with ease. There were no mistakes hidden in the styling at the salon (which seems to be a frequent thing). I'm knocking off a star because the receptionist was on the phone and didn't acknowledge me, nor did another stylist who came up to the front desk. Even a smile and nod would be fine. Just something good to let me know you can see me standing up there.

But that is still what happened at this salon. The stylist ran her fingers through, broke up, stretched out then cut every curl I had tried so hard to keep perfect throughout my work day for this appointment. She cut my hair like it was straight and now I'm left with a shorter than chin length mess. I am SO upset, embarrassed, self conscious, and sad with what I have now that I just want to crawl under a rock until my curls grow back :'-(
