Since I had an awesome experience the first time I went, I decided to give them another try. I messaged them privately on Facebook and they did not respond, so I will leave my review here. First of all, the nail tech was extremely rough and pretty much all of my nail beds were bleeding. Second of all, LOOK how uneven and thick they are. But this isn't even the worst part!! After I took my nails off, I noticed a yellow line under my nail and I realized it was a fungal infection. So yeah, basically it was the worst $77+tip that I've ever spent. I really wanted this to be my "go-to" nail place, but that unfortunately is not happening.

I hope my nails look better than their first impression ‍

Sam the male owner is very rude abrasive and Uninviting. If I would have felt with him my entire visit this place would have gotten 1star. I called in advance and it was walk in only so I arrived 10 minutes later and was told there was a 20 minute wait and I would have to wait in my car. I understand COVID PROTOCOL but he was rude and expected me to know how to sign in even after I told him this was my first visit to the store. SAMANTHA not to be co fused with "Sam" was polite and knowledgeable and did a fantastic job on my new acrylic overlay on my natural nail and was even patient well I picked out a color that I was authorized to wear with my job. Sam spent the entire visit looking down at everybody and feeling a little cups of lotion speaking under his breath. It was a good job but not very inviting probably would not return.

When I spend almost $100 to get a manicure and pedicure I expect it to last longer than one day. The employees were very nice but worried about everything else going on in the shop rather than the customer in front of them. Mia was very sweet and was the best part of my trip. And Samantha did a nice job on my dip set.

I'll start by saying that I am NOT a girly girl... this was only the third time in my life that I've ever gotten my nails done. But I had a stressful week and wanted to treat myself before Valentine's dinner with my boyfriend. I decided on Hollywood Nails after I'd heard good things about it. I am SO glad I did. I couldn't be more satisfied with my nails! They look absolutely AMAZING! Exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much! I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone!

The quality of work was poor. I have 2 cuts. They don't use dipping powder correctly. They say they are doing dip but they use it with a brush like acrylic. I was also informed half way through that they can't do fills even though they have it on their price list. After only 2 days one of the nails is loose. Update...Less than a week later and a nail has already popped off

Great nail place! I was a walk-in and I was seen right away. (I did come mid-day on a week day though) It was nice and clean inside which is what I look for in a nail salon. I got a pedicure and a full set (dip powder). I was in the salon over 3 weeks ago and the nail polish on my toes is barely chipped, and I got regular polish. I didn't get a photo after I got them done but just take my word for it; they looked good! I was actually pretty impressed with the time that was taken on my nails. They turned out amazing! I've included a photo, but the photo is of my nails about 3 weeks after I got them done (today lol). Besides the growth, they still look amazing! Highly recommend Hollywood Nails for a pedicure and manicure.

I think the picture says enough. I shouldn't have to pay for something that is clearly done so sloppy. I've tried this place three times and I have gotten the same man which I don't know but may be the owner or at least in charge. Each time he has done a terrible job but I kept coming back because I like to give a business a few chances because we all have bad days. My first set was acrylic when I asked for dip. My second set was misshaped and uneven and one nail popped off after a week, by time I made it in today I only had 2 nails still in-tacked. The other two were bad but this set is absolutely horrible. I have been trained in nail technology and this is definitely not state board. The fact he could look me in the face after I was clearly unhappy and make me pay full price is robbery. I didn't make a scene. This place is a rip off and if I was any of the employees who give a crap about their reputation, I would QUIT AND WORK SOMEWHERE ELSE!

First time getting a pedicure here and I liked it. I did the one with a gel instead of hot water, and while nice, I won't get it again. I like the hot water more than I thought based on the relaxation effect. The staff was nice and offered free drinks and snacks but I was there in the morning and didn't want either. I would give it 4.5 due to the soft massage but I will aka next time to be a little more aggressive.

I went today for the first time, I have to say their pretty well set up, BUT I will not be going back. I got dip and it's smudged, they used a light to finish my nails; it hurt and burned. Then the lady cut my skin and asked if it hurt and I told her it did. I don't recommend this place. read more

Came in to pamper myself, my sister, and my mom this morning. Had an appointment for 11. I got powder dipped nails and a basic pedi and mom and sis were supposed to get the basic mani/Pedi combo for $43. Somehow my sister ended up not getting her nails done, but she was so happy with the pedicure that she didn't mind. Just a slight miscommunication somewhere. They took the time to really pamper my mom and she enjoyed the complimentary Margarita. Her nails and toes look great and that's the most relaxed I've seen her in a while! It was my first time getting the powder dipped and I love them! So much pretty glitter and they took time to make sure they were exactly how I wanted them. The nail tech that did my design was unable to do a pineapple design to "her standards" so she asked for a different design example. I really appreciated her taking the time to re-do them with a style she was confident in. We'll definitely be back! read more

I walked in to get ready to sign my name in and I heard the guy say "we full" it's only 2:00 pm in the evening and it's inly 3 people in there and 2 workers wasn't doing anything .. the only reason I came back to this place is because the older lady did a wonderful job on my pedi last time .. but I will never return here the guy never once looked at me just kept repeating "we full" read more

I had my nails done by Diamond and was happy with the nails. I called and made an appointment to have my nails done the day before leaving on a trip. The appointment was for 10:30am. I called a couple days prior to confirm appointment. I arrived at 10:15am the day of my appointment and was told Diamond was not in and would not be in until 1:00pm. No one was kind or apologetic. I called at 12:30pm and was told again to come back at 1:00pm, Diamond would be there then. I arrived at 1:00pm and was then told Diamond would not be coming in that day. I was told to come back the next day. I let them know, I was going out of town and could not come back the next day. I asked if someone else could do my nails. I was told that I had used Diamond, I had to use her again and they were too busy for the rest of the day to do my nails. There were 2 clients in the store. They were rude, inconsiderate, and again, unapologetic. They did not even care that I live in the country 20 minutes from the salon and had driven over there twice. I let everyone know about my experience and will continue to do so. I will also use any salon but this one! I prefer a salon that appreciates their customers. read more

I have been getting my nails done here for over a year by Sam the owner. Well it seems every time I would call to see if the waxer person was there I would be told yes then drove 12 miles only to be told "call first" she's not here today. I would tell Sam I did call his response would be who did you talk to I would say "a man". Well she's not here. Anyways best issue I called prior to bringing my neighbors girls for kids pedi and nail painting was quoted 20 each. Turns out to be $28 when I said something I was told well they got the full treatment with pedi just like adults. Again I told him I called again " who did u talk to". I took my daughter while she was in town for a pedi and the Guy gave her 2 options for prices $40 and $48. Which I didn't find out till after. Wth??? So I had already been thinking about going somewhere else because every time Sam did my nails he seemed to not b able to get them back to the "round shape" they were prior to shortening them. I would even show him a pic. I know I'm picky but I ask is it to much to have your nails basically the same length and the same shape?? As well as they seem to always be lumpy and uneven. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Sam also seems to always be in a huge hurry and I feel that's why they are always lumpy and not smooth and he nips cuticles of almost every nail. Time to find some other place that would want my business. I'm over this place. read more

Horrible place! I told they guy I need to get my dipped powder taken off and a regular manicure. All they did was put my hands in a bag of acetone and I had to take off the residual nail polish (dipped powder) myself. The whole time this guy is not only rude and short to me but everyone who comes in like we are inconvenient to him... giving him business! Then we get to my manicure rushing because more ladies have walked in, but they are completely understaffed. He literally cuts my nails and barely files them and then polishes them. There was no attention to my cuticles. Then he rushes me to get my nails dried and is basically yelling at me and says you have to be careful I don't have time to fix if you mess them up. This place has horrible customer service! Go somewhere else!!!! read more

I travel a lot for business and have experienced quite a range of services. This was, by far, the best pedicure I've had. The cleanliness was like none I have seen. The pedicure was relaxing and the attention to detail was amazing. The next time I am in Longview, I will be back. I'm now spoiled as I am going to expect this level of service from now on and I know it will be hard to find anywhere else. read more

This has become my go to salon, they can get kind of busy on Friday and the weekend so I usually try and go during the week or my lunch. The owners work very hard as do the rest of the staff to provide an excellent experience. Drinks are always offered. Services I've received have been a dip manicure, regular pedicure, deluxe pedicure and eyebrow waxing, all have been up to my standards of quality and cleanliness. I will say there isn't much of a difference in the deluxe and regular pedicure other than the citrus scrub. They have a large selection on dip colors and regular polish, and anytime I've been unsure about a color they have swatched it for me to see if it was exactly what I wanted. I've also had multiple nail shapes done(almond, square, round and natural) and all have turned out beautifully. Anytime I have an issue I know that as long as I speak up they will fix it for me without question. One of my favorite things is that they do massage your arms and hands after a manicure which feels amazing. They have also recently updated their register and check in station so that everything is now digital and I believe you can also earn rewards for purchasing services? I'm unsure but I believe the last time I was in I read that on the login iPad... Regardless I absolutely love the staff at this salon, the only issues I can say I have is that their fish tank is overcrowded, they still have the price tags on their light fixtures and some of the decorations which to me just seems a little tacky in such a beautiful salon and the pointless pricing board at the front. read more

I started going back in June after l got back from my camping trip. While camping i broke a nail and it needed some therapy. I'm just gonna say this I'm very picky when it comes to my nails. l don't just let any and everyone do them, but didn't have time to drive another 2 hours to my original nail technician. So l stopped in and Cindy did them. OMG when l say I've FALLEN in love, I've fallen in love!! yep! She's the best in East Texas, hands down. I love the staff, the atmosphere is so warm and inviting and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Promise you won't be disappointed!! I drive an hour and if l have to wait another hour just so Cindy can do them I will! Stop by sometime. read more

I love coming here ever since a coworker suggested that I give them a try. I have never been disappointed!!! That have always done a fabulous job. The last time two of my nails ended up cracking within a couple of days and I just went in and let them know about it and they fixed the nails at no charge and didn't make me wait! They have always have the best customer service and let's not forget that you can get a class of wine or a frozen margarita while you are getting a pedicure. Definitely my favorite place in Longview to get my nails done. read more

First time here and really liked it! Better than the nails shops we have in my town (Carthage). Did have to wait about 10 minutes but they were really busy! Staff was nice and I enjoyed the peach margarita! They made sure to ID me so they're doing good with that. I got a mandarin and honey deluxe pedicure and it was very good. The lady that did my pedicure was very thorough and made sure I was comfortable throughout pedicure and made sure I liked the results at the end. I would strongly encourage African Americans to take their business elsewhere. I rarely review, but the owner is deeply racist and prejudice!!! I've gone and felt slighted, but this last time was blatant racism. I came to the door and the owner saw my Afro and cracked the door and asked if I had been there before. I politely just left and took my business down the street. He let someone else in with no hesitation!!!! I wish I could file a complaint if I had it on video. My husband, my mother in law, and myself came in tonight for pedicures and I also got my nails done. Tom, Sammy, and Diamond did a FABULOUS job for us. (There was another gentleman who did a great job with my husband's pedicure, but I didn't catch his name.) For me personally, I HIGHLY recommend Diamond and Tom. I've visited HN regularly for several years now. The service is excellent and the shop is always so clean! The products are always updated and they carry hundreds of the most beautiful nail colors imaginable. My dip nails lasted at least a month, with no breakage, and I always leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and ready for my day.
