I'm not one to leave a negative review, I usually just know to avoid going to that place and go about my day but I have to be honest. I have never had my fingers sliced open and cuticles nicked as bad as this. I sat in my car and cried for 10 mins after my appointment and came home and cried on my couch in pain for another 20 mins. Even during the appointment he knew it was causing me to bleed cause he had to stop and stop the bleeding. And still continued sawing at my poor fingers attempting to shape the nail. I'm sitting here contemplating driving to the minor ER because I'm in so much pain. This was supposed to be a relaxing appointment and it was the furthest from it. I was anxiously waiting for him to go to the next nail so he would stop sawing on my skin. And I asked for a new set french tip but with dip powder...he never got out any dip for me. I'm so heartbroken. I definitely won't be back. I definitely don't recommend. I'd rather have my money back and I don't know that I'll ever step in another nail salon again. read more

The salon is visually appealing but that is not enough to make me want to return. I'm new to the area so I looked at reviews and decided to try this place. One thing I want to make clear is that the prices they have on YELP are not the prices on their menus in the salon. It wasn't a big deal, and I didn't mention it, but it was a turn-off. I chose a pedi and dip nails. The pedi was fine but I have not had a manicure this bad in a really long time. He didn't clean up under the nails so there were chunks under the nails. One nail had a bump on it where it was touched before it was hard and he left it. One of my nails was jagged. I filed them myself when I got home and was over it. Within 3 days, my nails were in bad shape. I'm not sure if it was poor quality of the chemicals used or maybe it was old product. Maybe he didn't do it correctly. I am very loyal when I find a place I love. Before we moved, I used the same nail salon for 8 years. I was hopeful, but the quality of the dip manicure I received was such a disappointment. I got the Deluxe pedicure that was supposed to last 45 mins. It was shorter than 45 mins and the polishing was okay. She also did my nails and it was not good at all. Didn't even last a week. I have liked coming here in the past, but today was a different story. I needed a new set since my old one had a nail missing which was fine, but my usual nail person wasn't there. Instead I was given someone new, which a lot of the time isn't a problem but this person was no where near the same level as the guy I normally go to and they honestly probably should not be doing acrylic sets. Almost all of my nails were cut open and bleeding. What should have been a relaxing hour long basic set of nails turned into the most stressful and painful three hours I have ever spent getting my nails done. The person also pushed back my cuticles with their own finger nails. Didn't even use a tool which is highly unsanitary. I wanted so badly to just get up and leave but I needed my nails done. I should have gotten up and left. This work was the worst I have ever seen. At the end of the service I gave them a $100 got my change and when he asked what I though I burst into tears. I was very angry at this whole experience and never plan on coming back. The guy asked what he could do to make it right, but I had already been there for those three hours with a babysitter waiting on me at home. It was extremely overwhelming. I went to another nail salon immediately after and I have to wait for the cuts to heal before I can fix this shotty work. read more

However, they rush and make HUGE mistakes! Cut 5 cuticles on several of my fingers, never received a manicure, thumb nail lifted less than 24 hours after, nails are too thick, powder is rough in areas, left fingers covered in powder and had to ask them to clean them 3 different people 4 times, asked for round and got square. Pedicure she nicked 6 toes causing 2 to bleed, didn't remove prior polish completely, cut/shaped toes really awkward. Waited 20 minutes after nails to get eye brows waxed. Eye brows were not shaped or trimmed properly. Very dissatisfied and yes I did let staff know. She did offer to take off the powder that was left under my nails. read more

I've never tried it before. Jolie did my nails again and she is absolute perfection. She makes sure every part of your nail is perfect. She cares and along the way makes sure you are happy. She's also extremely gentle which is super important to me. I'm sensitive to pain and I've never felt anything unpleasant when she's working on my nails. FINALLY!!! I thought all was lost in Abilene in regards to nails. I have had some of the worst experiences in this town! But then my hair dresser recommended this place and I could just go kiss her. So professional, courteous, clean place and they kept asking at every stage of I was happy with it. They treated my seven year old daughter like royalty as well when she got her manicure. Prices were reasonable. $40 for dipped powder with tips and rounded off. $17 for my daughters full manicure with nail designs. Also, at the end they gave me a card with the man's name on it (Henry, btw, is amazing) and a guarantee that if something were to happen they would gladly fix it. My new favorite place can't wait to come back for pedicures. read more

Sadly.. this will be the last time I get my nails done here. I got the full set mani/deluxe pedi. The pedi is always a great experience but today was the most painful mani I have ever experienced. My nail tech PAINFULLY scraped off my old set using a false nail and ripped off a couple of my natural nails causing it to bleed. He then apologized and applied some blue chemical to stop it from bleeding, What happened to soaking them first? I don't understand why 10-15min of soaking them is so time consuming. The quality of the nails weren't bad but not worth bleeding for. Anyways, I paid $150 in total and still tipped regardless. Time to try a different nail salon! read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I just received THE WORST "organic" pedicure and customer service. The guy rushed the entire service. hot stones massage for both feet was a total of four minute and the rest of the massage continued for 5 more minutes. I always get gel and had to ask him to remove it because it was so thick and lumpy. I could tell the polish was incredibly thick. The base coat was even splotchy. After the first coat of gel, he buffed it because there were thick spots and I think he knew it was going to get worse. After I asked for it to be removed, he never asked to fix it or anything just continued rushing through my service & left the nail salon when he finished. I had paraffin still stuck on my feet, nails & left over gel still on my skin. I go to pay and they were still going to charge me for the gel $20 plus the pedicure $60 totaling to $80. When I explained I didn't keep the gel they didn't believe me so I had to take my shoe and sock off to show I had no gel on. They took the price of the gel off then decided to charge me $5 for the removal of the gel. I had to pay $65 for an awful experience and will make sure I tell everyone I know do not go there. I've been here twice before under the recommendation of a friend. An elderly man did my dip nails and Tina did my pedicure, Jade did my wax. My dip lasted about a month. Which is what I am accustomed to. And I was satisfied. I returned on July 1 and had a pedicure done by Tina once again, and my dip by Jade. Jade was ridiculously fast and missed some steps I've become familiar with in the process of having a dip, I've had gel and dips for over 20 years. Such as pushing back gel from cuticle, the whole process took 15 minutes to do my gel. When it typically willl take 45 minutes. Jade did my wax and I was unfairly charged for doing my whole face when I did not get a whole face wax! I paid $115. I left a tip also! Not thinking my nails would chip in one week! My nails are a mess! And Jade did a very bad job. I feel I am due a complementary dip, but I am fine with going to another business as there are many. I went today after writing to them via the Contact Us venue on the internet and informing them of my chipped nails. I guess no one reads the "Contact Us" letters. This short woman informed me I only had two weeks to come back. I informed her I had just returned from vacation in New Mexico and I did not realize that rule! Where is it posted or written. I have never in my life seen a tech work at such a snail-pace and still manage to produce low-quality work. HORRIBLE! I asked for long slender almond and got short stubby dagger nails AND they are all pointing in completely different directions. Not worth 50$ and to put the icing on the cake she tells me "oh I can do them how you wanted but it will cost extra". If they'd told me long nails cost extra I would have paid. I went in to get my nails done this afternoon and looking at the pictures I thought it was one of the best nail salons to go to. WRONG! I showed the lady a reference picture and she began to do my nails. Instead of soaking off my previous set, she took a false nail and tried to scrape off the nail on top by digging under it. I told her that it hurt, and she proceeded to say, "I will try again one more time and if it still hurts I can soak them off for you". She then AGAIN dug under my nails and AGAIN I told her that it hurt and to please soak them off. She continued to dig under every single nail knowing I was in pain, until she got every false nail off. She then proceeds to start the process of adding a false nail (which most of them were crooked) ( I said something about fixing them, however she just said it will be fixed when she files it out), priming, and begins to add acrylic. Keep in mind I showed her a reference picture. The color I asked for and the color she gave me were two completely different colors. I said I wanted a light pink but not super opaque (like the picture I showed her). She then pulls out a "medium pink" acrylic powder and begins to lay the acrylic. When she first put the acrylic on it came out a little bit opaque but she didn't tell me it would dry completely clear and of course I know it takes multiple coats. She then continues to do all nails and when I tell her that I need them to bit a little but shorter because I'm in the military, she then gets upset with me and clips down all of my nails really fast not checking to make sure each nail is the same length. After she has me stick my hands under the drier, I realize my nails are clear. Like CLEAR clear! As if I asked for an all clear set. I then tell her I don't like them and I have somewhere to go and considering I paid alot of money for this service, if there was anything she could do to fix it. I would've even been happy with coming in the next day to fix them, however she said that's what I asked for. I then suggested maybe if I could choose another shade of acrylic such as a pink that was more opaque ...and not clear she then said she could add another layer of acrylic of THE SAME SHADE, but it eould make the nails thicker. If the color isn't what I'm asking for what makes you think applying the same shade of clear on top it will do? Like my nails are clear, adding more clear to it will only make it what? EXACTLY, STILL CLEAR. So after we were talking about it she then told me that my set was $55 and taking the nails off were $5. I understand the price, yes you were taking off a previous set there's a fee (even when you painfully scrape them off), but $55 for a set of nails that I don't like and not the best service...I am highly upset. $45 for French style dipping powder with acrylic tips. Rose did a great job, was very nice, and spoke English pretty well. Two-week repair guarantee if your nail breaks, cracks, or loses shine! I'm currently on week 3 and, though my nails have grown about 1/4 inch, they still look perfect! I have no annoying, uneven ridge or transition from the manicured nail to where they've grown out. And it isn't noticeable that they're growing out since they used clear instead of pink. The white tips have no nicks, scuff marks, or loss of shine despite a TON of abuse (washing dishes, cleaning house, working in the yard, even shelling pecans!) I will go soon and get them redone because they're getting too long, but there is nothing else wrong with them! I have also gotten a basic pedicure here and it was great. read more

I love Hollywood nails and they do great on my nails. But today I went in and they refused to do what I asked. I simply wanted little plastic like stars on my nails and they told me they would only do it if I got powder it would have been $75. I asked again and they wouldn't. So I get my acrylics done and get them painted and they charged me $35. Every other time it has only ever been $25. $35 still isn't horrible but I could go to almost any other place for that price and they may do what I ask for. But again, they are amazing at it all and Henry KILLS the shaping. I gave an explanation of the shape I wanted and he did it perfect. 10/10 recommend for you to make this your new nails salon. my nails have truly never looked worse. my shellac is completely see through and i grew my nails out to be long and healthy and have had no problems keeping them that way with a different nail salon in town. she didn't ask me how long or what shape she just grinded them all almost to my finger. and they're all different shapes :( i am super upset abt having to try to grow them out to be that long and healthy again. i went here with my friend who always comes here because my salon was too busy and i'll never go anywhere than my other salon again after this experience :( read more
