The environment was nice but I got a manicure and a pedicure and I left with uneven nails and smudges. I spent $45 on a deluxe pedicure (average price) and $40 for a dip French manicure. DO NOT GO HERE. I've been to this place and they were always friendly and okay. But I've just had the worst nail experience of my entire life. They didn't have half the colors displayed so I didn't get the color I wanted, they guy was rude as shit, he took an HOUR to do shellac, I had to change colors and start over half way through because "the color is bad" and it still looks like shit. They actually had to get a new person halfway through to finish my nails and they STILL look like SHIT. 35 dollars for some fucked up fingers and wall paint on my nails. read more

I am only giving 1 star because zero is not an option. I will never be back! My friend and I went for basic pedicures. We agreed to shellac pedicures for $27. At the end we went to pay and they rang up each pedicure for $47!!!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous. I repeated that we agreed to $27 in the beginning. Terrible!!! We were greeted when walking in and I was told to pick out my polish for my pedi. The polish selection is not good, wouldn't even call it a selection. I sat down to semi-warm water and had to ask them to make it warmer. Part of the pedi bowl kept coming off in the water, and after several attempts to stay attached the tech grabbed the same part from another bowl not being used. I asked for the pedi a step up from the classic because I really wanted a good scrub on my feet. However, she was so interested in paying attention to the tv behind me that she barely filed and scrubbed the bottom of my feet. If I could give negative stars I would. Highly disappointed! Best place in Abilene to get your nails whipped. Never crowded. Clean. They take their time and do a great job. The pedicure menu has 5 options, increasing in price as you get more fun stuff done to your feet. I always get the #5 because my feet are fabulous. I enjoyed my experience at this salon very much! I chose it based on reviews and experiences of friends. On a Monday afternoon the salon was quiet and there was no wait for service. I enjoyed a relaxing pedicure and manicure from two polite and friendly technicians. I chose shellac for my manicure and standard polish for my toes. After a couple of days, I am happy to report that no chipping has taken place. The prices were fair and I was pleasantly surprised that they even offered a 10% military discount. Buyer beware! Ladies (and gentlemen), don't waste your money or your time on this place. I went here once after I had just moved to Abilene and didn't know of a good salon for a standard mani/pedi. Let me tell you -- once was enough! I was seated pretty promptly, but nearly everyone who came in after me ended up being sat and waiting/soaking for 30 minutes to an hour before being seen. The woman who worked on me didn't speak English well and didn't seem well-trained. She cut my fingers when trimming the cuticle and then proceeded to file my nails practically to a point even after I showed her a photo of my usual shape. I finally asked for a file and fixed them myself. Even still, the basic mani/pedi looked awful, and I would have been better off doing them myself at home. What was worse was the sleezy male employee who worked on the poor girl seated next to me. He spent the entire time blatantly hitting on her, and while she was clearly uncomfortable, I overheard her telling her friend she was afraid to report him to a manager for fear of waiting another hour for a new nail technician. Overall, the experience was dreadful, and I will NOT be back! read more

I went here early July got a dip the guy who did it done a terrible job it looked like my nails were scratched and I could see bubbles in my nails. I complained to the manager she got someone else to redo my nails. I spent 4 hours there got an apology no offer of a drink and charged $45. For the next 4 days I could barely move my fingers they were so painful my skin at my cuticles was bruised or cut where they filed the skin off. Today, I tried Royal Nails for the first time after walking out of my regular place. (I made an appointment and was told I would still have to wait an hour). But not here, I made an appointment and was seated shortly after I arrived. The receptionist was very friendly and immediately offered me something to drink and she continued to ask if anyone in the waiting area would like any refreshments. My nail technician was Johnny, and he was amazing! My nails have NEVER looked so good! My nails are difficult to do because I have tiny nails. But Johnny did exactly what I wanted him to do! I went for a pedi and fill. The pedi was pretty good, I went with #3. However, when having my fill done I felt he just did it as quickly as he could. After sanding and filing I didn't get to wash my hands... He dusted me and put on the polish.i still have junk under the edges of the nails alongside the cuticles. Two different men did each service so I guess it depends who you get. My fill was done by Sonny. First impressions are everything and I won't go back. Good luck if you do. read more

I used to enjoy going to to this place, but my most recent experience was terrible. The female and male pair teamed up to do my manicure and pedicure concurrently. The quality of both services was subpar, and the rudeness displayed throughout the manicure by the male employee was made something that should be an enjoyable experience make me want to exit the spa as soon as possible.
