I've been getting Mani/Pedis here before trips and events for over 2 years. I got my toes done for the first time this year. I got their cheapest pedi option with White Gel. The price was $75 ($5 tip). It's been four days and two of my nails have already chipped. I don't do much and my toe nails USUALLY last me at LEAST a month, so this is so unacceptable for $75. This salon is horrible. My nails are the worst. They are thick, chunky, they aren't the same length just everything's wrong with them! The lady was so rude and aggressive. I went there a couple months ago with my mom because she had a gift voucher. We both got pedicures and manicures. The reasons why I won't go back is when I went to stick my feet in the water it was scalding hot! I never got a pedicure where the water was so hot I had to immediately pull my feet out. I told her it was way to hot so she just ran cold water. She was very aggressive with how much force she was using during the pedicure process, I just didn't find it enjoyable at all. When she refilled the water it was still scalding hot, she saw me make a face and quickly changed it to cold water. Idk why it had to either be cold or boiling hot. I didn't like my manicure, my nails were filed uneven and the paint job was sloppy. Fantastic experience! I'm in town with my mom for a few days and we decided to stop here for pedicures. We got there at 9:30 on a Friday morning (30 minutes after opening) and there were already 5 people being serviced. We were just sure we would have to wait until the techs were finished with other customers. We were wrong! There were literally 9 people working that morning. We walked in and were greeted immediately. We chose our colors and were directed to pedicure chairs 3 & 4. The vast majority of the polish selection was made of salon brands-Essie, OPI, China Glaze. They also had a wide selection of beverages- my mom got a diet coke and I got a water. Before they got started, they showed us the chart that had the deluxe pedicure options...it was wayyyy too easy for them to sell us! If I'm not mistaken, the basic is $25 and the deluxe options begin at $35. I got the Rose pedicure and my mom got the Lavender pedicure. It was HEAVENLY! Literally the best pedicure I've ever had. Multiple scrubs, hot towel moisturizing treatment, some type of special hot oil foot baggy thing, and the BEST foot/leg massage ever. When he was finished, he gave me a baggy that had some of the tools he'd used for me to take home. The polish job was also neat. I usually get my brows threaded back home in Dallas, but while my nails were drying, I decided to get my brows done as well. The lady who did them, Amy, was quick and fairly pain free. Nothing to write home about- but she did well and they looked nice. I will probably NEVER come to Abilene without stopping here again! :) read more

I called ahead today to see if I could receive a mani/pedi at the same time, as I only had 1 hr 45 min. I was told that they were not busy and had the time available in 10-15 min. When I showed up 5 minutes later I was told that they would try to get both done at the same time. I waited 15 min to start pedicure and then they told me that they would not be able to do both 30 min into the service. One of the women was nice, but there were 2-3 other workers standing around. I asked if they could help by doing my manicure and was told that they don't do manicures...odd considering I was in a nail salon right? When getting my nails done the nail tech i had was very rough. She was very aggressive when filing the nails into a coffin shape and made me bleed on my pinky as she was filing and kept going in the same place i was bleeding. She even moved the whole nail over and made it crooked because thats how hard she wad filing. For someone who has a very low pain tolorance it was almost unbearable but i didnt say anything just because im passive and dont like confrontation. It was almost as hard to explain to the nail tech what design i wanted and to understand her as much as it was to stand the pain during the whole proccess. I felt like i was being a nuisance and like people there were making fun of me because this was the first time i had ever asked for a nail design ever because ive only done dip nails in the past. So its safe to say i wont be coming back soley because of the pain i was in and the chance of getting the same nail tech is just not the experiance i want for my nect set of nails. She was sloppy on the design i wanted which were simple diagonal stripes and didnt clean them up at all. I paid a lot for this set which is definitelly not worth it.
