I have been here several times as a walk/in. I would definitely recommend this shop. They are friendly and very professional. The place is extremely clean and it is a nice & relaxing place. They offer water or wine and the prices are the same as where I went before them. The pedi was really nice & last for a month. I always enjoy the leg massage & hot wax to my feet. read more

Unfortunately I would not recommend this shop to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I paid $100 for my nails and pedicure only to have a broken nail a week later along with two toes that have polish damage from a shellac pedicure. I am deeply disappointed in the quality that was provided as it was not long lasting. I completely agree with the previous reviewer on how complicated it is to find a good nail salon in Abilene. Why can I not find a decent nail shop in Abilene??? This is the fourth one I have tried and the only good one was Hot Nails but there's only two (amazing) people working there so getting in is hard. This place is nice enough inside I guess, and the techs are friendly but their nails are terrible! I got dip powder and it's just chunky and uneven and awful. I don't like making a scene so I just paid and left (I mean who has the time to make them do it all over again??) but I will not be back here. read more

I came here as a Walk-in and was immediately greeted and assisted. This place is very clean and everyone was wearing a mask. The nail tech was so friendly and continued asking if I was okay with the style through out the process. She waited for me to answer before continuing and was very patient even though I changed my mind 3 times. I was offered a refreshment also. The environment was quiet and relaxing. I took my daughter there on the 22nd to get her nails done. She showed the guy what she wanted and he said that was a lot of work so he was going to charge her extra. Fine. All he did was glue tips to her nails and dip the tips in powder. He didn't even actually build the nail at all with any acrylic. They started coming off 3 days later. They were also crooked. And I paid $75 for that. read more

Took my daughter with me to get pedicures. It was not a very clean place. They did have the tools in the sterilized package. A few weeks later I took my daughter to get her nails dipped and she said the tech was not nice to her and cut her fingers. Then the nails started to come off in 2 days 2 of them had fallen off. Got a mani/pedi and had high expectations due to all the reviews. The pedicure was good but would definitely have an enjoyed a longer massage as this one was on the shorter side. I decided on the powder for my nails so my polish would last longer for my trip. The male manicurist kept trying to up sell me with more expensive color powders and when I said no he then said I needed tips on my nails because my nails were too short to get the powder and it wouldn't look good. I agreed to the tips but emphasized that I didn't my nails too long or them to look thick like acrylic nails. When he was filing my nails and shaping them he kept cutting the skin around my nails with the file which caused me to bleed. He apologized after the first few times but after that he seemed annoyed. Less than a week later two of my fingers are swollen and infected. Antibiotic ointment has helped but I definitely will never go back to this place again. read more

Won't go back. Nails aren't completely painted, side of nail was bleeding, and fingers are extremely sore and hurting from the rough treatment. Equipment was reused without being cleaned, actually witnessed the man grab a container that is labeled "soiled" and uses that instrument on myself. Used same brush and liquid without getting a new one. (From the lady before me) I SAW. Also, very pushy to get me to do dipping powder after I explained to him multiple times I didn't want it. read more

This place is amazing! I got my eyelash extensions done here and I absolutely love them! I also got a mani pedi with shellac and if you get the pedi i def recommend the deluxe! They're so polite and everyones always smiling and laughing, this is def my new favorite place to come and get dolled up!! read more

I received eyelash extensions here and they where horrible. I had to have them removed within 24 hours. When I asked for a refund or even half back I was refused. So basically I paid 120 dollars for pain and torture. Please whatever you do do not get eyelash extensions here. Do the extra research to find a trained reputable salon first. read more

I am here on behalf of my friend who is not a satisfied with her nails. She came to me with straight fingers but crooked nails that looked like they were done in the dark. She also asked for yellow nail polish and was given lime green nail. I heard so highly of this establishment and it brings me sadness to make this review, but it had to be done. read more

Left very pleased! I was iffy about coming back because the last I went to California nails my experience was TERRIBLE. I heard they were under new owners so I decided to check it out. Went around 2 on a Monday and I was the only one there, YAY! It was clean and relaxing. They had information sheets on each nail chair regarding the "dip" and different nails shapes, also had a list of prices. I always get color powder, and they had so many colors to choose from! I'm used to paying more for long nails but not here, it was the same price as a regular set. He talked to me about to benefits of dip and I might actually try it next time. My favorite thing is every nail was PERFECT, he went above and beyond to make sure they all matched and were even. I think I found my new nail place! read more

Worst nail salon ever. They try their hardest to scam you out of as much money as they possibly can by pretending they misheard what you wanted or by flat out lying. Their work is subpar at best and they blatantly gossip about you right in front of your face. Avoid at all costs. read more

On April 2, 2015 I went to California Nails in Abilene TX to have my nails done. When I got there my technician barely spoke to me which made me feel a little uncomfortable. Instead of soaking the nails I already had on off, he proceeded to pry them off of my fingers leaving my natural nails looking torn, shredded. They were awful not to mention sore from being pulled on so much. Once the new nails were on and he was finished, I looked down at my hands and noticed several of my fingers were bleeding on the sides where the nail meets skin. He had pushed so hard with his on nail that he broke the skin on my fingers. While using his rotary tool to smooth the inside of the solar nail he caught two of my fingers right at the base of my nail where the skin and nail meet. Both fingers bled for several days every time I tried to do something, it just kept opening back up. My hands have hurt for nearly two weeks now. I have NEVER had someone treat me so disrespectfully or manhandle my hands to the point of bleeding before. After calling California Nails and speaking to the manager I was pretty much told sorry, not gonna do anything about it. Well I am. I get my nails done every other week and I get a deluxe pedi every other week. I will go where I know I'm treated like a customer and not an inconvenience. read more
