I came here for their Spaw Wash services. Which is a do it yourself wash. I have a large double coated dog. 70lb+ Shepherd/Collie/Husky mix. He's normally an expensive groom, and he really just needed a bath so this was the ticket. They have 2 wash basins and even a walk in shower for bigger dogs as well. Mine fit no problems in the shorter larger tub. It has a panel that slides in and out so your pooch can jump up and down into it. They also have suction cup leashes to attach to the wall to keep them there. You control the temp with hot and cold taps. I do wish they nozzle had an option for a little more pressure, as again, thick coated dog, but it did what needed to be done. They offered 3 types of shampoos; an oatmeal and shea butter one, a lavender one, and a smelly dog one. I choose smelly dog, as he was one lol. It really did the trick too! They also supply towels and aprons for you, and an air dryer. It's just regular air, not hot so helps get the excess water out of their coat. They also give you cotton balls to put in their ears if you don't trust yourself to not get water in them. It cost $12 and they clean up afterwards! They seem to have specials where you can get 5 washes for $50, so not a bad deal. I would have liked a brush, but I just bought one that I needed anyways. Their pricing here is a little higher in my opinion but not outrageous on supplies. They also have a bakery for fresh dog treats! They looked really good too, and my pup was definitely wanting to sniff them! We decided on a bone assortment though for my pup being a good boy, and he even got a treat from the super helpful super nice employees! I definitely will be back here when I don't need a full groom on my dog as it's so much easier and less cleanup than trying to do it at home! read more

It's the Trader Joe's for dogs.No, you haven't been transported in a Time Machine to the glory of yesteryear. Current times would have you believe as much. For years, this store has a village/small town vibe. Vibrant, clean and organized with top quality foods, snacks, leashes, collars, beds, grooming items and TOYS!! Fun for both the dog parents and the dogs! There are also grooming services available within certain hours. Even if you don't buy all your pet needs here, at least check out the toys or your (leashed) best friend can decide! read more

PetPeople is my go to store for my dogs food. They have higher quality dog food for purchase, and I would say a larger variety and quantity than most others. Also a huge selection of high quality treats. Never ordered a Bark box? No need because can get most of the treats here. They have a rewards programs where you buy 12 bags of food and get the 13th free. You'll be given a card to keep track of the purchase it's not digital yet. Unlike some other stores, they have bulk baked treats for purchase. If your one of those types to have birthday celebration for your pet, they have decorated cookies that will do great. Room for improvement? Trash can outside, as there is nowhere to put used pet waste bags. read more

I will never be able to go into any other pet store. Michael, the manager of the Hyde Park location, is incredible. I also love Haven. Though all the staff is super nice. Michael remembers my name and my dog's name and is so upbeat. This whole place is just full of upbeat energy, wonderful products and lots of raw food choices, plus good advice about EVERYTHING to do with dogs (and cats). I love it so much! read more

The staff here is amazing! The second I walked through the door they answered every question I possibly had, and went even farther to introduce me to some other great options! Every worker there was very friendly to me & extremely helpful. The store is amazing as well, they have everything you are looking for and more. I found this place about a month ago. the dog food I get is cheaper than Amazon. They were out of my dogs shampoo and and an employee drove to another store to get it for my delivery. Awesome customer service. They have all my business for sure. read more

I took my reactive dog, Stella, here today and will most definitely be coming back. Bryann was the absolute sweetest person and sat on the floor with her while she sniffed and got comfortable. Love, Love this store! Great selection of food and treats! Nice selection of toys, and by toys I mean, tuff toys that will stand up to my GSD/Newfie mix who can destroy a toy in about 2 minutes. The two big things I love about this store is that I can buy bulk biscuits by mixing and matching the flavors I want or just buy a jumbo box that will last for a month or so. The other thing is that I can bring my dog in and use the "Spaw" and get him cleaned up in between visits to the groomer. The staff at this store is wonderful! They are always so helpful and go out of their way to help you find what you want or make recommendations for your pets needs. read more

The pet people are great people. They are very supportive of rescues and carry an excellent array of dog foods and supplies. They may be a bit pricier than some pet stores but the staff is very knowledgable and very helpful. I usually buy dog food, chew treats made in the US, and accessories here. Always check the clearence section- I have found great buys here. Also pups are welcome on leashes (as long as they are friendly of course :) ). read more

This is one of two local retail locations for this regional chain based out of Columbus. The staff are very friendly and always extremely helpful. You can definitely tell they love pets. They have a great selection of high end pet foods and other pet supplies. My only complaint is that I would like for them to have a lot less of the "made in China" products I can find anywhere. I prefer to shop local and buy products made in the US (I know they're out there...I was just hoping this store would have more of them.) Don't forget to sign up for their free rewards program. UPDATE: This store has really gone downhill. What used to at least be friendly and helpful staff are gone and the unfriendly and rude manager had taken over. From being greeted and eagerly helped, you're now lucky if you even get acknowledged after being in the store for ten minutes. Will NOT be shopping here again. Hands down the best place for pet needs. The prices are what you will find at other stores for high quality food, but the reason you come here is for the staff, they're awesome! I have never been there and not been greeted and offered help, and anytime an employee sees any animal, they have the same reaction as I do, pure excitement and joy! You can tell everyone there really love animals. When we adopted our hound dog earlier this year I received a card in the mail saying congratulations on our newest family member and it was signed by the employees, it was the cutest surprise card ever! You will never find that anywhere else! They also have a great selection of toys, food, treats, shampoos, you name it. Yes, you could probably find everything you need these days online, but my dog and I love our visits here much more! read more

This is my favorite pet store. The staff ar amazing, very knowledgeable, helpful an friendly without being push. The dog wash feature in the store is great. They provide all the products you need including ear wipes to wash your pet and waterproof aprons! I love the dog treat mixes that you can buy per pound and they have the best selection of safe all-natural chew treats including antlers. read more

The staff are incredibly friendly and very knowledgable. We have 4 cats and a dog and they were able to help me select foods that would assist me with improving the health of all of them, particularly one of our cats who have urinary issues. Their suggestions and knowledge helped a lot! When one associate is helping you and there isn't anyone else in the store, a second associate will still come over to make sure everything is going well. They always approach you with kindness and it's obvious they love what they do! It's customer service and high quality products like that which keeps me coming back! read more
