I was…read moreshocked to see that this store sells live creatures: birds, reptiles, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, ferrets, etc. I cannot believe living creatures are still be sold for profit in the year 2024. It's so sad, disgusting and an unfortunate realization that profit comes before a living creature's well being and natural right to be free. The staff was very supportive and got me the info I needed to contact Petco customer service. There was one exception though; one staff person said, "It is what it is". Unfortunately I think the Petco company shares that staff person's opinion. I will not return to support this companies mission to profit at all cost. Picked up a good number of treats, some cookies, and some bulk/unpackaged treats behind the cookies. Loved how everything was set up, easy to find, and the ingredients were readily available. Only thing is that I wish they had some cat friendly treat options, but I recognize it is more so a dog focused company. Even though I didn't book a grooming service, each dog that was dropped off or picked up seemed to love the staff and looked very cute! I am glad there are more locations around here and would definitely visit or bring my pup here

We move out here and I take her to the Witherspoon PetSmart for grooming twice. The first time (Feb 2023) a gentleman groomed her. No problem. Was told she was a sweet dog. Picked her up today, and this short, obnoxious associate stated they will not groom my dog again because, get this, "she lays down while trying to groom her." They also refused to do her nails for the same reason. I contacted a groomer in Cary who said they'd never heard of that as a complaint. Even though it is much more, I'll be taking my girl to a professional groomer out here.

What a nice little shop! Lots of food, chews, clothing, accessories, etc. for your pet to peruse and choose from. The ladies at the shop were very positive and helpful and even wanted pictures of our lil pup Emma with her new sweater purchase on. There is a lot of variety of items but can also tell that what they do have has been carefully curated for their customers. Emma definitely had a great time looking/sniffing through the selections and I find that is the true test of a good pet boutique...if the clientele is interested! If you have a pet, come on by to OEOTL and see what they have to offer, I am glad we did and Emma has a nice new sweater from the experience.
