Pet fur everywhere, and they walk your clean groomed pet through the dirty old furs on the floor. It's a really nasty grooming area. Even at a hair salon they sweep up after you each client. I also find them to be much more reasonable then the chains as well. One thing that all yelpers can appreciate is that the owners are operating the business and they live in the community. They don't claim to be vets, but they sure are knowledgable about all animals. Another thing I like is they don't sell animals or try to adopt them out. It's just too sad seeing all those cutie pies caged up all day. Makes me want to take them all home. They do close early, by six during the week. I head there on my way home from work downtown and they are right on my way home. She was late and had an attitude from the minute getting out of her car. I figured give her a break, you don't know why or what started her morning off wrong. When we came back to get our dogs, the girl said they had to charge more because our dogs were bad! What??? Four years never a peep now this surprise? I was not happy, plus I wondered about my dogs experience with a crabby lady. Giving the benefit of the doubt and the fact she does a nice job, I decided to call to make an appointment. At first she was ok until I questioned the up charge and my dogs behavior and why? She said she didn't have help with larger dogs. She got defensive and true colors came out. You're going to talk to a paying customer that way? I can't imagine what the dogs go through after we drop them off. The call ended with her stating she didn't want to do my dogs and hung up on me! I would not recommend!

| PetSuites Westlake…read more I had a great experience with PetSuites Westlake. The booking process was very easy and straightforward, and the communication throughout my dog's stay was excellent. The staff kept me in the loop the entire time, which really gave me peace of mind while my dog was there. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and clearly cared about the animals. It was obvious they take pride in what they do and treat pets well. I never had to wonder how my dog was doing--they made sure I always knew. I would absolutely recommend PetSuites Westlake to anyone looking for reliable, stress-free dog boarding, and I will definitely be using them again

One thing I didn't like immediately when I first got there was they take the dogs to the back and you don't get to see where they're taking them or what the room or crate area looks like where they are being kept. When I got back in town and brought my dog home, I noticed he had cuts on his genital area that look like razor cuts and blood in his stool and also I didn't realize it at first but after a couple days I saw where his back paw had a cut on it. Also, I posted a review before which I don't see up here anymore and after I posted the review, I spoke to Catherine at pet suites. She responded to me and said she saw the review that I had left and I explained to her what my findings were she said that she immediately tried to look at the cameras and wherever they were keeping him, he was out of view of the camera, and she said that she was offended that I asked her to keep an eye out for her staff. She said that my dog could have caused his own wounds from licking himself. I have had my dog since he was 12 weeks old and he is four years old now and he has never caused any wounds from licking himself. Also, I don't believe that they were taking the dogs out three times a day because my dog was fully potty trained and had to be retrained when I brought him home. He had a couple of accidents where he used the bathroom in the house and he wasn't doing that before. If I could give this place zero stars I would, but I had to at least give them one star in order to post this.

I said that on their website the tool was priced at $20. The woman said yes that's because they have different prices at different locations, depending on the popularity of the tool and the data from the ZIP Code. So simply by purchasing at the tractor supply located near my home, I was being forced to pay a 25% up charge! I was disgusted at how discriminatory and predatory their business practices were so when I got to my car, I looked on Amazon to see how much it would cost me to get the tool. Since it was only $15 on Amazon and it would come the next day, I purchased it there and went back into the store to return the tool. I told the woman why I was returning it and she said, "That's fine, we have plenty of other customers. " Not only do they operate under such dishonest and disrespectful business practices, but they are completely arrogant about it as well. I used to love shopping at tractor supply and now I'm completely sickened by the thought of it.
