I had been bringing my Yorkie to this location for grooming for over a year. The last appointment I had an issue with my car and got there late picking up my dog. I paid the extra $20 fee that they charged me for being late. The next time I went to book an appointment they told me that my dog had been banned from coming because she was vicious. I spoke with the manager and the corporate office to dispute this claim. I have a small Yorkie.... Not a pit Bull. The person was angry that I picked my dog up late and decided to block me from the system which I don't believe should be allowed. However, the pet store said that they had to stand by their "groomer" who feared for her life. read more

I'm officially rescuing a dog and I stopped into this store to get an idea about local pet stores. The cat, fish and other animal sections seemed pretty sprawling. The store did appear well-organized, and their were tons of dog shoppers inside with their human companions. Its always hilarious how every dog becomes a tough guy in the pet store and starts barking at every other dog. Its a hoot. As far as the dog supplies, their selection is a bit lesser than other local competitors, particularly in the collar/leash/harness department and dog beds/carriers/crates, which were the things I was truly looking for. Womp womp. They did have a great selection of toys, though! They were having a 2 for $10 sale and I picked up a cloth flamingo, cloth lobster, a rubber cupcake and a rubber ice cream cone. My dog LOVED the ice cream cone when I tried it out with her during a foster visit. Who knew so much happiness could come from a fake ice cream cone? She was rolling it all over the place like a happy camper. Must give kudos to this place for basically selling me her favorite toy! read more

If you look at the first photo you may see my lizard looks a bit different than the other photos. I purchased this lizard in August and thought nothing of it. Upon arrival at home he began to get sluggish even after following proper husbandry. A week or so after being home we noticed stuck shed on his tail which didn't look correct. After a few days his tail began to shed and his bone was exposed a condition known as tail rot. To treat the tail rot I took him to an exotic vet and he needed his tail amputated. They also found out he was parasite infested which means he was most likely wild caught not captive bred. 290 dollars in vet bills later here I am with a lizard who doesn't move and can't catch a cricket. He needs all his super worms tong fed or else he wouldn't eat at all. Wish I would've never gone down this road now I'm an even broker college student. read more

Just another corporate pet supply chain. I'm sure one of the top 3 are near you. I rarely shop for my 2 dog's here. I don't want to be harsh but they carry everything and know nothing about pet health. Employees can only repeat from the script Corporate sends them. Try asking someone a question about rawhide chews, greenies, pest control, etc. They are always going to say they are safe, they use the same product's (if they have the same pets) occasionally they might recommend a different product but 100% not healthy for any dog's. Trying to keep their job, yes, but more likely they believe what they're told to believe. Big pet food has brainwashed everyone into believing dog's shouldn't eat people food, wait what? It's amazing dog's have somehow survived living on earth since forever without kibble. Cancer rates skyrocketing, gastrointestinal issues, skin issues, ear infections, Cruciate Ligament Ruptures, arthritis, diarrhea, diabetes, dementia, including just ain't doing right. Yes, just ain't doing right is when you know something is off but don't know why. They've eaten the same GMO kibble food every day for their entire life, is over vaccinated because the veterinarian said so, has had poisonous insecticides put on their skin or orally every month, to 3 months depending on type. Has probably been a at least one antibiotic, conservatively speaking, steroids, who knows what else? Not one employee at Pet's Supplies Plus would know the answer, or be educated enough to recommend doing something different. Not my idea of a "pet" store, but just another Corporate pet supply chain. I don't think any of these "pet" supply chains corporations even like pet's Do your pet and yourself a favor and find a small family owned business whose only reason they chose to be a pet store is because they Love pet's! You will learn quickly what products are unhealthy and or toxic to your pets, because they don't carry them! Knowledge! read more

While they have all the necessary things one needs for a pet, the best thing is that they work with Kelly's Kritters, an incredible pet adoption group that is dedicated to helping cats find forever homes. This store is incredible. The staff is so helpful. I was there with my grand dog and there was a terrible storm outside. This amazing staff member helped the customers, gave my dog treats and kept us company until storm passed. Products are always stocked and never a line at the checkout. Dear Pet Supplies Plus I came in to your store on 10/3/20 to purchase some dry dog food. The brand I usually purchase is Hill's Science Diet Adult 7+, the chicken meal, barley, brown rice. I usually purchase two 15 lbs. bags, I use one bag up to feed the dogs and I keep the other bag in the refrigerator until the first bag is used. I purchase the 15 lbs. bags because they are easily handled by myself (at 72) and easily stored in the refrigerator. However, you do not carry the 15 lbs. size, do not know why, but you don't...I was told it had to do something with your warehouse, so I tried purchasing two or three 5 lbs. bags at one time. Unfortunate for me I could never get three 5 lbs. bags since the only thing I could find is maybe two bags and you never call me when a new supply comes is. Luckily I found two bags yesterday and I purchase them. I later went over to PetSmart and guess what they carry the 15 lbs. bags...sooo, the next time I need this item guess where I'm going? I don't understand, if PetSmart and Chewy carries this size why not Pet Supplies Plus?????? I spend a total of $100.00 to $150.00 per month I should be able to order the 15 lbs. bags don't you think so?? By-the-way it cost me $36.00 for two 5 lbs. (= 10 lbs) bags at your place and $38.00 for a one 15 lbs. at PetSmart and $34.00 for a one 15 lbs. bag at Chewy. Think about the inconvenience and expense you are causing me (and others) and my (and their) dogs! I usually purchase three to four bags of Bill Jack treats, two 15lbs. bags of dry dog food and two flats (24 cans) of canned dog food per month "plus". and you are going to loose my business.
