Lea did an AMAZING job grooming our Bernese Mountain Dog Remy. Poor baby could never enjoy summers fully with us. Lea gave him a summer clip and he's so much happier! This stores grooming is sub par for sure. It has gone completely downhill. Not sure if there is new management or no management. Pet fur everywhere, and they walk your clean groomed pet through the dirty old furs on the floor. It's a really nasty grooming area. Even at a hair salon they sweep up after you each client. There was hair and fur all the way to the entry door. Animals have urinated at the door with no clean up. The groomers are not friendly and the customer services is lacking. I will not bring my pet back to this location. read more

I have made several trips to this Pet Smart location and have been happy with the service I received each time. This is where we take our dog to the groomer and we highly recommend Crystal. She's amazing and is so good with our dog. Everytime we take him he remembers her and gets so excited which makes me feel good leaving him with her. The only bad thing about the groomers at pet smart is that it is pretty pricey. In terms of food they have a wide range except, of course, the brand out dog eats which is Fromm. Other than that, they have everything we need. They have great deals and always have good sales going on so you just have to be on the lookout. For example, today they were having a blowout dog toy sale so I got two toys for our dog for $5. Steal We are very happy with this Pet Smart location and will continuously be regular shoppers. read more

I had a great experience taking my 8 month old Labradoodle puppy there for grooming. I called and made an appointment just a few days beforehand. When we showed up, they were ready to go! They asked for proof of his Rabies shot and then Shannon was great at bending down to Bowser's (our puppy) level to make him feel comfortable. She estimated 2.5 to 3 hours and allowed us to use their sample board to select a length level for his coat. We dropped him off at 5pm and he was ready a little after 7pm which was great timing! When we picked him up we got a Pawgress (Progress) report with a brief wellness report. They clipped his nails, cleaned his ears, gave him a bath and groomed his coat. Price was reasonable, service was awesome and his coat looked and felt amazing. The girls at the check out were even proactive in offering us the puppy book, to get access to coupons and providing us with information regarding the puppy training. Overall great experience ! I walked in less than an hour before close for hermit crab food, no less. The clerk was very helpful and directed me to a nearby aisle. Could hermit crab food really cost $10. Gotta check that on Amazon. They had a nice selection of habitats and accessories but that is for another day. Kudos to the clerk again for not having an attitude when I refused to give a phone number or email for marketing. read more

These guys are pros in pet care. For new pet owners like me it was a relief to be able to one stop shop and get all of our questions fielded. It seems like the formula is befriend an associate and they will walk you through the needs and wants of pet accessories. Also the other customers in the aisles were helpful. For those that plan to get a lot of gear there is a $20 coupon book by the register which saved us net $15 on the first trip! read more

I've been taking my Milton to Petsmart for several years and he is always groomed by Elaine. She is wonderful. She explains everything she's going to do and does it extremely well. The prices are very reasonable. Milton is a fluffy Pembroke Welsh corgi and that is an extremely difficult dog to groom because there really aren't guidelines for grooming a fluff. I want him to look like a fluff when he leaves there and he always does. I highly recommend Elaine plus Milton seems to like her a lot. read more

I took my beloved pooch here for a bath while in town visiting relatives. The first time I called to schedule an appointment, the person was a bit cranky, but when I called back a few minutes later, a much nicer girl answered the phone. I liked that they told me the name of the groomer who would be bathing my dog (Kyle), and I was able to meet him in person when dropping off our dog. Kyle fully explained all of the charges to me ahead of time, and I didn't feel overly pressured to buy "upgrade" services as you sometimes do at other places. They needed proof of vaccinations (as most reputable places do), and made it easy for me to have my vet fax them the records from out of state. Finally, they called me promptly when he was done and pickup was an easy process. Despite the initial grumpiness, this was a pretty good place to take my dog, and I would take him here again if I'm back in town. read more

Have recently been through beginning and intermediate training with my golden puppy Kelly. so happy I took these classes. she has been very active and rather challenging. after these classes, I feel so much better about her now(AND MYSELF). I have the tools and more knowledge to handle her. I wanted to thank the trainer REBEKAH for all her expertise. she is just simply awesome as a trainer, also realistic and compassionate. Great store, close to costco, a lot of variety to select from.

I was coming to this store for a multitude of years. Roughly once a week I would come in to get food for my assortment of animals. I purchased a top fin canister filter not to long ago and was very pleased with it. After a few months the motor blew and and it would make a loud noise and quit filtering water. Periodically it would spit out crap into the tank. I cleaned it multiple times and replaced each level of the filter. Same outcome every time. I had to completely drain my 60gallon tank many times. I called the mayfield petsmart to see if there was a possibility I could receive compensation or some sort discount on another filter after spending about $120 on this one. The person who helped me over the phone had a very rude attitude. After leaving me on hold for roughly ten minutes she picked up the phone again only to tell me she doesn't feel like turning the register back on because they were Close to closing time. After mentioning to her that she had left me on hold for 10minutes to tell me she can't do anything she rudely corrected me by telling me I had only been on hold for roughly 7min. After this experience I do not believe I will be coming back to this location. read more
