I am a big fan of Abercrombie and Hollister. I spend more than I should in these stores. So it was extremely discouraging to go into this location, on mini vaca, weekend away, to an employee who walked past me twice, and did not acknowledge me.
I stood at the fitting room as she sped past me assisting another, fine. Then again in the other direction, as if I was invisible. Finally she came back and I had to just about yell out to get her attention after asking once for a room. She said, "ookay.." hesitantly, as if I were taking up her time. After a short wait SHE WALKS UP. I couldn't help but ask if she was seriously the manager, and went on to tell her what I thought of her service. Her response, "I am sorry if I hurt your feelings...." How pretentious that she thought she had the power to hurt my feelings?
The simple idiocy of children who are given large responsibilities, while lacking the basic principal is why customer service is so awful these days. And to have a child, who clearly treats people less than what they should be treated, walking around with the assumption that someone being upset is the equivalent of their insecurity. The fact is that IT IS BAD SERVICE. I wouldn't step foot in this store again. Although it was one fool, my money would be best spent else where, and that day, it was. read more
