Very clearly marked trail and not a lot of elevation changes most of the way except for the area around the arch. Gray's arch is very beautiful, fascinating how features like these are shaped by nature. After the arch area, there is a forested area with streams that is fun. Overall, the trail is not too long, has interesting sights to see and not very strenuous.

Since the group was small it took us only like 35-40 minutes to finish all 5 zipline routes, with bigger groups would have taken maybe 1.5 hours. It was fun and the guides were really nice and fun, they were still super energetic and excited every time they zipline. I wish there were more zipline routes, or let us do it twice. It cost ~$120, $24 per route, actual ziplining experience was like 30 seconds per route. Yes fun, but very expensive when you consider $ / amount of actual experience.

Camped here on a Saturday night recently -- I'd rented a cabin in the Gorge and backpacked here…read moreseveral times, but never car-camped. I think I was a little afraid that the campground would be similar to Miguel's -- lots of party-time people and little privacy. However, our small group was pleasantly surprised that many of the sites had their own sense of "place." While few of the sites are completely secluded, they at least have plenty of trees around them to give you a tiny bit of privacy. We got a double-pad site since we had two tents, and this was more than enough room. The pads are very generously sized, so if you have one of those ginormous 8-person tents that are bigger than a Manhattan studio apartment, you should have no issue setting it up. Each site comes with a picnic table (ours had 2 but not sure if that was because it was a double?) and a fire pit. You can purchase wood and ice at the campsite host. There are also some short but fun trails that lead off from Koomer Ridge, and I think at least one connects to the Rough Trail, which is a very long trail going through the Gorge that also lives up to its name. The only downside is you can hear the traffic from the road fairly easy, but giving how close the campground is to the main road, this isn't really surprising. I just figure it's part of the territory with car camping as opposed to backpacking.

Wonderful, spacious sites and nice clean facilities - what more do you really need? The campground is conveniently located near the highway and for short drives to the surrounding area for hiking, sightseeing and whatnot. There is access to at least one cliff trail at several points around the campground, and you're never too far from a pit toilet. But if those aren't your idea of a nice place to do your business, the actual restroom and shower facilities are amazingly clean. My only complaint is that the frogs don't know what "quiet time" means.

Booked slots at the Via Ferrata for our family of 7 ranging in age from 18-51. In my mind, I…read morethought the first few levels would be more like hiking on a ledge while clipped in. This is not the case and I saw immediately upon arrival that even level one is high off the ground and requires climbing. Our guide was great as she took us through the training and explained how to use equipment. We all started out on section 2 because she said it seemed to be easier for people scared of heights (I'm terrified). After that five of us did section one then I did section one again while five others did section 3. Intellectually, I could tell it was an extremely safe operation. The guides are like lifeguards, constantly watching what is happening on the wall through binoculars and calling out corrections or suggestions. Still, for me, when on the wall it was hard to get over my fear of falling. It helped not to look down. My entire party was proud of ourselves for trying it and would like to come back again -- perhaps with more rest beforehand. Some of them got partway through section 4 but were tired from earlier running and weightlifting. Overall a great operation and appreciate the picnic tables on the deck where you can watch others while taking a break.

My brother and I climbed with Brian (one of the co-owners) and had a blast. We didn't have all our gear but KRAG provides everything you'll need for free (shoes, harness, helmet, etc). It rained so much the day we arrived and I was worried we wouldn't be able to climb. But Brian is so knowledgable and knew where all the best spots were that stayed dry. We got to climb so many classic routes, learned new techniques, and had so much fun. Also, one thing to not overlook is KRAG's emphasis on safety. Brian and his team have loads of experience and every certification out there, and it clearly shows. It gets even better. After a day of climbing, we were so hungry and headed back to the Skybridge Station. Turns out, you can enjoy from their amazing selection of local craft beers on tap! To add, they even serve the best hot dogs and quesadillas in town (and some of the best I've ever eaten)!
