It is consistently cold in the cavern, and we dressed appropriately and were comfortable. This included neoprene fingerless gloves, wool socks, and clean water shoes. You cannot wear regular shoes as they scratch the clear kayaks. Our guide, Drew, and his "photographer", Matthew, were excellent. Good for mixed ages and abilities 2) You paddle a kayak with a headlamp on the helmet 3) same as above but with a lit up kayak 4) same as above but you are standing on a standing kayak. We took the kayak with no special effects, the lit ones were already reserved. My group had 7, and there were a few others on our tour. I think it was 11 plus the 2 guides. The tour took about an hour, there is no current so it is NOT strenuous at all. It was super cool to see the trout , some swam pretty close too. And they are huge! I loved this adventure. I only wish it lasted longer because I could have stayed down in the caves until my toes got so cold they snapped right off LOL. After arriving and parking, you walk to the trailer that houses the gift shop to check in. They may ask to weigh you to ensure safety in the kayaks. And for a small fee, they will hold and store valuables for you or you can rent a dry bag to take with you. After a safety spiel, you get your life jacket and helmet (both musts, don't argue) and lumber on in to the mouth of the cave. Even in summer it is nice and chilly and the water is cold. You can't wear shoes in the boats (clear bottom and lights need to be kept nice) so I would recommend bringing some socks to wear in the boat. You are likely to get a little damp, but not dripping wet (unless you fall in). Our guide was fun and energetic, but not over the top annoyingly so, and full of information, patience, and willingness to answer questions. You see some really cool and fun things, and it was an exceptionally fun time! I would one million percent do it again, in a heartbeat! Highly recommend giving them some of your time and money.

Since the group was small it took us only like 35-40 minutes to finish all 5 zipline routes, with bigger groups would have taken maybe 1.5 hours. It was fun and the guides were really nice and fun, they were still super energetic and excited every time they zipline. I wish there were more zipline routes, or let us do it twice. It cost ~$120, $24 per route, actual ziplining experience was like 30 seconds per route. Yes fun, but very expensive when you consider $ / amount of actual experience.

I was impressed with the diversity of reptiles they had, especially for being so remote. I was also really impressed with the staff. It's obvious to see how much they love their jobs and care about all the animals. We were lucky to have been able to see a venom extraction. It was very interesting and informative, and the seasoned vet performing the extraction was very open and willing to answer questions any of us had. They're doing really great work at the KRZ, with a lovely and passionate staff. I would definitely recommend it!

Very clearly marked trail and not a lot of elevation changes most of the way except for the area around the arch. Gray's arch is very beautiful, fascinating how features like these are shaped by nature. After the arch area, there is a forested area with streams that is fun. Overall, the trail is not too long, has interesting sights to see and not very strenuous.
