The last incline to the top

Friendly staff! Gift shop had so many neat things. Was easy to purchase tickets and the lines were not long.

My mom had been here YEARS ago before the lift when they had to walk it. I can't wait to bring her back this year and let her ride the lift. It was a short ride and then just a short walk to get to some the the best views. It's well worth the cost!!! right now they are temp closed. When they are open again .. highly suggest not going on a weekend because of the crowd. when kids are out of school it will be crowded. I prefer when it's not crowded so don't have to wait till they get pics.

I loved the views here! I came here during peak fall season and it was beautiful! There were a lot of people in line but it was definitely worth the wait. I paid $11 for a one way to go up the sky lift and then came hiking down which was also lovely :) I would definitely come back to see the nature but I'm really afraid of heights so I might do the sky lift going up one way again Also, if you know the couple that's in one my pics, please send the pic to them since it's such a pretty picture!

There are two types of people in the world; Those that embrace adventure and those that don't. I happen to be an adventurer which is what brought me to this sky lift. I had never been to the area but it's been on my list for awhile so we hopped in the car and 2.5 hours later we arrived. We chose to hike to the natural bridges first because the journey to the top is part of the fun. Several days later and my muscles are still sore. As a reward, as if the hike wasn't terrifying enough, we decided to take a round trip on the sky lift before we left. The line was really long but moved steadily. As we crept along closer to the ride I saw my life flash before my eyes as I looked at the sparse metal contraption that was meant to carry me safely up the side of a freaking mountain!!! Eek! But I digress. We were asked to stand on two feet painted in the loading dock and sit back onto the seat as it gently scooped us up. Then we pull down the tiny metal safety bar and were all set, up, up, and away. I sat in my seat frozen with fear most of the way up. Beware, it slows down and speeds up quite frequently to assist people getting on and off so don't panic. Everything is fine, fine, fine. After you disembark, hold onto your ticket stub, you will need it to get down. Oh, and if you thought going UP was scared, wait until you go DOWN!!!!! Overall, it was scenic and relaxing, a really cool experience and I would 100% do it again.

Loved the sky lift! It was $17 round trip for adults to the top of the natural bridge. You can hike to the top, but the sky lift is much quicker. It took about 16 minutes each way. It's just a simple lap bar on your lap, but it's slow moving sky lift up. I was a little nervous of the heights, but overall it was a smooth trip. It was definitely scarier on the way down!!! Very steep coming back down/looking down. However it was very peaceful. All you could hear were birds chirping and some water trickling from the rocks. I came May 2022 about 5pm before close at 6pm. The weather was beautiful and shaded from trees.

    The skylift. Very cool.

Billy and Pierah were awesome guides--patient, encouraging, and fun. I stayed toward the back while getting the hang of paddling, but got to enjoy the underwater views with Billy's lit-up kayak. I was surprised it's man-made, flooded limestone mine but it's still definitely worth checking off the bucket list. Just be prepared--it's VERY cold! Dress comfortable as the caves are a bit chilly but not very cold, depends on your tolerance of the cold. Take caution and hold onto your things securely, if it's dropped in the cave waters it's gone. We were told they will not retrieve lost items so bring phone and keys at your own risk. :)

We were in the area on a crappy rainy weekend looking for something to do. We thought we'd take a chance on the Kentucky Reptile Zoo. It's obvious to see how much they love their jobs and care about all the animals. We were lucky to have been able to see a venom extraction. It was very interesting and informative, and the seasoned vet performing the extraction was very open and willing to answer questions any of us had. They're doing really great work at the KRZ, with a lovely and passionate staff. I would definitely recommend it!

Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because all the employees were super nice and helpful. It'd be more of a 3 honestly. I called Sunday morning and reserved 2 kayaks for my fiancé and I, gave them my name and picked the 1pm time. Got a bit lost and called their office, told them exactly where we were and they gave us clear directions. This probably happens often lol. We ended up being about 20 mins late but parked, paid, checked in and got our life jackets and paddles quickly. Water levels are low. I repeat, water levels are low. They make it clear if this happens...once you get there. So definitely check online! If the levels aren't high enough you don't do the 7-8 miles...you go 2 miles up river and then back. With many areas where you have to get out to carry your kayak over the rocks because it's so shallow. Wear something on your feet that aren't old navy flip flops! It's much easier on the way back. But do your research and be prepared. At the turn around point there were a bunch of people hanging out at the big rock. Maybe too many for us still, but looked like a good time. We both enjoyed it and hope to be back when the levels are higher! Kudos to the friendly staff!
