This lady is a scam artist. She posted items for FREE on marketplace saying "take anything you…read morewant" then threatened us to either drop the items back off or pay her for the junk. If we refused she said she would file a police report. We talked to our lawyer and they said while she doesn't really have a leg to stand on, she could drag this out and make a big stink about it if she wanted to. She seemed to be the type of person that manipulates people so she can get her way. We are a hour away so it really hurt us to drag the truck and trailer there and back twice. I tried to show her that our time and travels adds up to way more than she thinks we "stole" but she freaked out and threatened us again. We eventually just dropped the crap back off and called it a loss. I'm sure she is smug thinking she really showed us but we just didn't want to waste any more time or money on her drama. I'll never do business with her and I will forever tell people to stay far away from her!

When she arrived with a colleague, they quickly took my junk, then looked at my table. I was relieved when she told me that she had a friend who redid old furniture and she would pass it to her. I was moving and hired this company through U-Haul; seeing they were the cheapest option, I figured they could at least help us move our large furniture onto a truck. I booked them, and the company contacted me over the weekend, confirming they could help us move on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. Come Monday morning, 10:30, no one arrived. There was no contact from them regarding lateness nor confirming again they were on the way. I was fairly patient and expected things not to be perfect, so I texted at 10:36 asking when they would be coming. Not until 11:00 (30 minutes after the time they confirmed they would help us) did I receive a text back saying they were finishing up a move and would come after. At 11:01, I asked for a rough time estimate of when that would be. It took until 12:00 for them to text me that they would be arriving at 12:30. Come 12:30, no one showed up, and no one contacted me to say they were on the way. I called the number again at 12:50, and the man on the phone was surprised when I told him no one had shown up. He said he would call me back. 15 minutes went by with no calls. I called his number again but this time he did not pick up. At 1:10, nearly 3 hours after the confirmed moving time, when we had moved nearly all our belongings down to the truck ourselves, we finally received a call from the movers Legacy sent saying they were parked a block away. The two movers who showed up were great. They worked fast, getting the last of the furniture, and were kind. However, when talking to them, I learned they were hired off Craigslist the day before (never worked with Legacy before) and could barely reach the moving company. Along with this, I learned the move they were doing before (the one I was told they had to finish up first) wasn't even for the company; they were moving a personal friend's stuff that morning. When I called the company number, Legacy did not apologize and told me that there was a two-hour minimum. They would not be discounting any of the price despite being three hours late and barely communicating. After all this poor communication, the movers and I lost so much confidence in Legacy that neither of us were sure if they would be paid. We ended up letting them wait with us an extra ten minutes so that they could use our wifi and confirm Legacy cash-apped them payment. That, the company at least did fairly promptly. TL;DR Do not use this company. They are just an uncommunicative middleman for hiring movers off craigslist.
