We're new EV owners. I called a company I've used for 35 years who came out yesterday to "give me a…read morebid". I bought a load balancing charger, although our 400A service didn't need it, and had done enough research to know how I wanted it installed and the code requirements. I had a general idea of what the going rate was. So when their bid, without a charger, was twice what I would have expected to pay with one included, not to mention trying to upsell me $17,000 worth of suggested upgrades (you read that right); I went looking for someone else. I'd never heard of Spark Shark before today, but they came up in an internet search. Nika answered immediately and couldn't have been nicer and said they could give me a bid before lunch. If I liked it they could pull a permit, and get it done in one trip. I was skeptical. Brock showed up and looked everything over, agreed with my assessment, and gave me a bid 1/3 of yesterday's. Done, and done. He called the office to pull the permit, then went to grab lunch and breakers. He had things well in hand, despite me talking too much, when Charles and Germar showed up to help him pull wire etc. With 3 sets of hands they wrapped it up by five including swapping out another breaker that I think was going bad. This property manager just got a new electric contractor.

If I could give zero stars I would…read more Airco did an 84 year old woman terrible. She had a warranty on her Lennox system and was told the compressor was out. We called on Sunday, Airco showed up Monday. Said they would order part. No communication/update until Wednesday when we called and asked about the part. We were told that there was a delay in getting the part. We asked for a supervisor to call, nothing. We called another company on Thursday. This company came out on Friday, they ordered the part and brought it out Saturday morning and installed it. Wow, a 2 day turn around. Airco left her high and dry for 5 days and would still be waiting if we had not called another company. And the total bill was cheaper with a service agreement thrown in since Airco were such jerks to her!!!!! Shame on you Airco!!!!

I'd leave 0 stars if I could…read more Ordered a hot water heater from Lowe's with installation. Airco was selected by Lowe's as the installer. Airco sent a "project manager" (Steiger Hart) to the residence to "inspect" the area where the water heater was going to be placed. The project manager informed the resident that the area was not up to code (LIES) and recommended purchasing several things to bring it up to code (emergency shutoff valve, hammer arrestors, expansion tank, safety drain pan, new combustion- pvc piping, and a gas drip leg). When I asked for an itemized price list, I was told their system packages everything together and he couldn't provide an itemized bill. The only service that receives an itemized bill is HVAC. RED FLAG!! The home was built in 2016 and according to the plumber we actually hired, EVERYTHING IS WITHIN CODE. Airco wanted to charge $1744 for install and code upgrades. Then proceeded to try to convince the resident to purchase a hot water heater from Airco because theirs are manufactured better . We paid a local plumber (small family owned business) $250 to install the hot water heater and replace the hoses. This company lacks integrity, clearly overcharges, and tries to upsell the customer. DO NOT USE THEM!!! Before you respond lying saying you couldn't find an account using my name listed in the review, I have emails for your "project manager" and Lowe's.

However if you are like me and don't like the hassle of constantly changing dates and times, not communicating information properly, and then blaming you for their mistakes these people are not for you. We had some electrical work done on a She Shed and they changed the job date 3 times WITH OUT TELLING US claiming that I had not given them a working phone number? Then the dispatcher says the electrician is supposed to call us and the electrician says the dispatcher is. BLAH BLAH BLAH! I had to reshuffle my schedule for an entire week and my poor pets had to be boarded at the spa ! Then the electrician says he's going to put one outlet outside and 2 inside. My mother said she wanted 4 inside but I said that was too many to just put 2. Apparently he got confused and just put 1 inside and 1 outside even though when he finished the work he told me there was 1 out side and 2 inside. Did I mention that I am BLIND. I told them this and they knew it and when I called to talk about the incomplete work the dispatcher asked me if I had read the contract. Kinda wonder about the morals of this company.
