Can't say enough great things about Alex and HH. I am a 37 year old who still tries to wrestle and lift heavy weights. I do everything I can for my recovery: protein, compex, mobility, sleep, etc. Hyperbaric has been the single best thing I've ever done. I go in to the chamber like a 50 year old man, bones and joints cracking. I come out like a 25 year old, supple and limber. If you area cross fitter, grappler, power lifter, or even something like an endurance athlete, you must try hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Trust me, you won't regret it. read more

I am a pro rugby athlete, I've been training so hard getting ready for an upcoming rugby tournament event and one week out I strained my groin and I couldn't go 100% with three days left before the big day. on Wednesday i pulled out of practice because it was bothering me. Thank goodness I came across Holistic Hyperbaric's and I was able to book a session on Friday before game day. I promise it was the best choice I made to be ready for Saturday. I was able to play all four games without my groin bothering me. The entire staff is so helpful and very nice and professional. Thank you for saving my day. Best recovery ever!!! read more

Holistic Hyperbarics is amazing. I was referred here to treat my EDS Hypermobility type. I was skeptical and nervous, but the owner Alex immediately put me at ease. The office has a calm, warm, healing energy, as does Alex. I never felt rushed; Alex took lots of time to understand my health concerns, explain the hyperbaric process and address any concerns or questions. She is professional, kind and empathetic. I felt safe, cared for and listened to. Today, after my first treatment, I have more energy and less pain than I've had in months. I've already booked my next appt and will be going regularly for...ever! I highly recommend anyone considering hyperbarics to try out this incredible service. read more

Holistic Hyperbarics is fantastic. I think they have invented a business that's incredibly important to the health of many Americans. They have uniquely combined technological medical advancements with a passion for health. The founder, Alex Williams, is a dynamo who clearly has a passion for helping people, great customer service, and a single drive on getting you results. HH is helping people with traumatic brain injuries, autism, stroke victims, people with early dementia, people who simply want to heal a surgery incision faster, find hope and healing. They combine hyperbaric--a cutting edge oxygen therapy that's a century old but that practitioners are applying successfully to a host of ailments. And it's working. Plus, the "spa" is incredibly pleasant. I honestly thought being locked inside a large pressurized metal tube for an hour and a half would be difficult. Instead, once my ears adjusted at the beginning, it was incredibly relaxing, a place to relax and read with soothing white noise. I could communicate at any time through walkie talkies with staff, who circled every 15 minutes reassuringly. Coming out, I was greeted by warm towels, citrus and cucumber infused water, and vitamins. Most important, a stubborn knee muscle injury got better. From my experience, HH combines professionalism and compassion. Management is determined to meet the needs of people not being helped often by conventional medicine. I know they will grow, because they are providing medical services to solve seemingly unsolvable problems. Most exciting: they are combining hyperbaric use with QEEG--an innovative way to take snapshots of brain waves to see past brain injuries and disease and then find ways to reactivate brain tissue. I'll be back! read more

Holistic Hyperbarics is going so above and beyond for their clients- I am astonished with the level of personalized care and genuine connection I've had there. I have felt truly seen and heard in a way I haven't in most other health related interactions. And their lovely design and complimentary spa additions to the expirence left me feeling unexpectedly pampered! It was So nice leaving the appointment feeling refreshed and cared for, unlike most other health related appointments. As someone living with an insideous chronic health condition, I am used to facing a lot of cold shoulders, misinformation, and over-priced treatment centers. The owner of HH is well versed in So many health issues, including ones like mine on the fringe of medical science. I struggle with a lot of symptoms and have tried a lot of protocols, but after only three hyperbaric treatments I'm feeling more energized, clear, and sleeping better then I have in years. I cannot recommend this place higher.. I would if I could! read more

When I can to Holistic Hyperbarics, I was just wanting to experience it for general health stuff. I had been searching for some relief for a back injury for over 18 years, unexpected with one session its GONE! no lump-no pain. Another added benefit--My bench press is up from 185# to 205# :) read more

This is the ultimate form of self-care! My experience at HH was simply magical. Even though it's an intense experience to be sitting in a sealed and pressurized tube for 90+ mins, the staff made me feel held and taken care of every step of the way. The space is luxurious, covered with plants and 11/10 decor. The main staff member I interacted with was super friendly and conversational - you can tell the staff is looked out for and VERY well trained. He clearly had a strong grasp of the inner-workings of the tank and all of its benefits, and answered all of my questions... and then some! I would recommend HH without a doubt and will definitely be going back. read more

To accelerate recovery from shoulder and hernia repair surgery, I sought out hyperbaric chamber services based on research results and experience I had with my father getting such treatment from leading edge doctors at UCSF & the VA Med center. My situation did not warrant the expense and difficulty of medical grade hyperbaric treatments, and I was thrilled to find Holistic Hyperbarics as a provider of exactly what I needed. After two sets of treatments (4 consecutive 1.5 hr sessions each), I've found the results have exceeded my expectations in the following ways: 1. surgery involved using carbon dioxide gases to provide space for the laparoscopic surgery and this treatment accelarated elimination of left-over gases; 2. edema or normal swelling around the sites was also greatly alleviated; 3. was able to stop all pain and NSAID pain meds quickly; and 4. immediately following each session was more flexible and pliable. As a bonus, as a sleep tracker, I noticed an increase of about 30 minutes of deep sleep on nights following a treatment, an increase that I failed to achieve through multiple experiments over the last year. I look forward to using treatments for athletic recovery as I re-engage in half-marathon training and commend Alex for her courage and commitment to helping others in designing this extraordinary (and affordable) business. read more

This therapy works, hands down. It is healing my partner's traumatic brain injury and severely broken leg and shrink a very large hematoma on her leg. I could tell her reactions were quicker after the first treatment, and she feels and looks better after each session. Alex is a rockstar and goes above and beyond to provide excellent care for us every time we come in, and with answering any questions we have. read more

I cannot thank Alex enough for the support she's given me the past few months. I was going through the toughest time of my life when I contacted her and she's been beyond kind to me through my recovery. She makes the process as easy and useful as possible for you. She reached out to multiple specialists to understand my problem while no other professional I saw cared to listen to me. I highly recommend this place for anyone who thinks they can benefit from HBOT and wants a positive experience. read more

I was skeptical about how effective this would be, there are all kinds of get frozen, getting floating, get a shot, quick fix treatments now that promise instant results. I've tried a couple with no or marginal results. I was so sore from starting my gym work out again and extremely fatigued from a month of work traveling (14 airplane flights) that I would have done anything. My partner made an appointment for me because I would have just laid in bed and took Tylenol. The spa was beautiful and everything was explained nicely so it wasn't scary. The treatment lasted an hour and a half and was very relaxing, but as the day went on my soreness decreased at a time when it should be increasing and I felt refreshed and rested. The second day after the workout and usually the worst and this morning I got up feeling good with only minor soreness and felt back to normal. I know this also has a lot of medical uses as well. This is a great treatment that Holistic Hyperbarics is executing very well. read more

I am a mother to a very active toddler and have been chronically under-rested since her birth. On top of that I have been dealing with a persistent ankle injury. I cannot overstate how happy I was with the results of my first visit to Holistic Hyperbarics. I slept incredibly well the night after my treatment and have noticed marked improvement to my ankle in the week following. Alex is patient and professional and spent extra time with me to make sure I was comfortable. She is very knowledgable and did a great job explaining the process and when my ear initially had a hard time regulating the change in pressure, I was very grateful for her attentive and relaxing presence. I am interested to see if regular appointments will help my repetitive stress injuries from being a musician...I will be back for more! read more

I had such an awesome experience at Holistic Hyperbarics! Alex is friendly and knowledgable, and she patiently answered my questions and explained the process in language that I could easily understand. The chamber was like a relaxation time machine for me -- I brought my book inside and read, napped a while, and came out feeling totally renewed. I'll definitely visit again! read more

I was interested in hyperbaric oxygen therapy for an injury that was not going away causing chronic pain in my hips. So glad when Alex opened her facility. I especially noticed after a series of treatments that my mental clarity increased, the chronic pains lessened significantly, and overall my mood was way up. Holistic Hyperbarics has been a terrific support in my healing process. The place is clean and well maintained. Alex Williams is super knowledgeable, keeping all the equipment running smoothly. I have recommended several of my friends to her as well. read more

Hyperbarics is great for rest and restoration. I tried it for the first time after a brutal work trip, and came out of the chamber feeling like I'd just had a good night sleep. I've been back a few times since then, and it's made a big difference in helping me feel rested. As the parent of a toddler, there's somehow never enough sleep....Highly recommended either for yourself, or as a present for a parent in your life. read more

My partner and I have been going to Holistic Hyperbarics for the last couple of months, and our experience has been fantastic. The owner, Alex, has been extremely personable, empathetic, and kind in assisting us, and has accommodated a variety of our needs. The chambers themselves are very nice and clean, with a perfect spread of small necessities: blankets, pillows, adjustable lighting, and most important of all: chewing gum, to combat the pressure change. The 'descent', as the pressure change itself is called, has always gone smoothly, and once down, it's easy to just fall asleep for the duration of the session. When the session is complete, Alex comes through to wake you via intercom, and once out, you're greeted with a glass of water and a few supplementary vitamins to accelerate your acclimation. The overall experience is very spa-like. Alex has made it clear us that their goal is to assist in healing for those in need using this fascinating approach, and has done a lot to make the healing process for my partner both more pleasant and more manageable. We're super grateful that Alex is providing mHBOT services in this area at a fraction of the cost of other providers in the area. Highly recommended! read more

Doing treatment with Holistic Hyperbarics was my first time for a treatment of this kind. And it was a great experience! Really grateful I found Holistic Hyperbarics. The day I first came in it was super smokey from the fires and was feeling pretty anxious. But the space is great was so calming and welcoming that I instantly felt more at ease. I could feel how every detail has been thought out to support a great experience; there were snacks, cozy chairs to sit while you wait and even a smiley face on the key to use the bathroom! Alex, the owner of Holistic Hyperbarics talked me through every detail of the dive, the pod felt a little small and took some adjusting to get used to, but there were so many things to help support my comfort; soft pillow, lighting, a fan, chewing gum, tissue and Alex even tucked me in with a blanket to keep warm. During my dive, I couldn't get one of my ears to clear, Alex stayed, slowed down the dive and gave me ways to help clear my ear. Super helpful! Then relaxed for the next 60 mins. When I got out my ear was still a little tender so I let Alex know and she told me that it should clear in the next few hours if not sooner, gave me some tips and that I should come back in a few days to help my ear normalize. There were hot towels, delish water with cucumber/lemon/mint and vitamins ... So nice!!! This experience was awesome from the minute I walked in the door till when I left. I came back to Holistic Hyperbarics a few days later, as Alex suggested, all the same excellent care! She did an even slower dive and this time my ear cleared completely. It was a great session, I left feeling super great! One thing I suggest when you visit Holistic Hyperbarics is that if you are noise sensitive is to bring some headphones and use them more like ear muffs, it helped me to soften the sound and relax more. It's been about a week since my session and I've been able to breath better through the fires, I've noticed the rash on my face that I've had for years is changing and I have more energy! I'm looking forward to going back and seeing what regular sessions with Holistic Hyperbarics will help me shift in my overall health. Thanks Alex!!! read more

I was excited to take my first dive at Holistic Hyperbarics in March. I hoped it would address my issues with sleep apnea, fatigue, and an exercise-restricting knee injury. Alex, the owner, was welcoming, knowledgeable, and confident. After thoroughly explaining the machine, how it works, and its safety procedures, she helped me into the chamber. She stayed available by walkie-talkie and was only one room away during the hour and a half treatment. Afterwards, she set me up with a warm washcloth, a jar of water (with lime and mint), and two vitamin pills. It was both a therapeutic and a nourishing experience from start to finish. I felt more energetic and slept well all night. I've completed at least ten more sessions since that first one. My energy and sleep are still making progress. My knee is feeling so much better that I can now exercise effectively. I plan on several more sessions to lock in my improvements. read more

Wonderful experience! I went in after a very stressful month of moving my business (12,000 lbs of industrial equipment). My back was sore and all my old injuries were feeling aggravated. Not to mention I had been sleeping poorly from the stress of it all. The day after my treatment my back and joints felt better and I got the best night of sleep I had in weeks. The whole experience was really great. It was so comfortable and relaxing. The oxygen helped clear my head while I kicked back and read a book for an hour in a cozy bed. Afterwards I got mint water and hot towels! Highly recommended. read more

I discovered Holistic Hyperbarics via Google and Yelp. I had done some research and wanted to explore this option. The owner answered my call and took the time to talk to me and answer my questions. Subsequently I scheduled my first appointment and the rest is history. I made the decision to undergo both "mild" hyperbaric and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. HH offers both! This is a state-of-art facility with an informed and incredibly customer focused staff. I was able to successfully achieve my outcomes via my treatment regime. I highly recommend HH as it offers treatment solutions that simply make sense and work. read more

This review has been long overdue! My experience with Holistic Hyperbarics was incredible! I suffer from chronic pain due to a near fatal car accident years ago. I went in because I was not only in severe pain but I felt seriously run down and exhausted from it. I have never done any treatment like this before. I was expertly talked thru what to expect then guided through the process. I am claustrophobic but they made me feel so safe and well taken care of I didn't feel at all nervous about it. Plus once inside the chamber there is a lot of room to get comfortable and various options to make your therapy experience more relaxing. I actually fell asleep for what felt like hours. I left there feeling not only pain free but my energy had really noticeably increased. I even had a cut on my hand from the other day that had healed almost completely after treatment. After asking Alex about my wound healing so quickly I was told that oxygen therapy is very effective in wound healing! I am super impressed with my entire expeience and reccomend Holistic Hyperbarics to anyone who wants to feel like a million bucks! read more

I came in a couple days ago to get assistance for my shoulder (AC separation) and Alex helped me expedite my healing process by taping it up. I live in Los Angeles, so I've only had the opportunity to visit Holistic Hyperbarics on two occasions. Both times left me so relaxed and renewed, I always look forward to coming back up here for another session. Alex is extremely helpful and truly offers holistic care. Alex has a great service. The setup is great. Very relaxing. Alex makes you feel very comfortable. I highly recommend trying it out.

Holistic Hyperbaric is a great place if you have any type of chronic condition and Alex the owner is wonderful. I have chronic lyme disease and after about 5 sessions at Holistic Hyperbaric my energy started to increase. I've tried many other types of treatment but this is the first one that helped me feel better. I almost never write a yelp review but this place is that good! read more

I had an elective surgery with a little bit of complications. My wound was strained and bruised along my incisions. My surgeon strongly recommended that I should get an oxygen treatment for my wound. Needless to say my surgeon contacted Alex from Holistic Hyperbarics and on the same day we went and sign up for 5 session but ended up taking the 10 session package. The experience was wonderful. After 5 sessions I went back to my surgeon and together we saw a big difference in my wound. It has dried and I was moving smoothly than in my first few days post op. My shortness of breath has tremendously been improved, my incentive spirometer reading has gone up higher when I'm doing my breathing exercises. The hyperbaric treatment has helped me tremendously! Alex was kind, patient and very accommodating. She would prepare extra pillows for me as I can't lay flat inside the chamber. The place is very well maintained. I was glad my surgeon sent me here, I would highly recommend this place for those having wound and breathing problems. read more

I'm a dancer so my day to day life requires both physical and mental stamina without a whole lot of rest time. I can say that my time in the chamber at Holistic Hyperbarics provided some of the most efficient whole body rest I've had. Directly after my session I felt calmer and more alert. Physically my body felt rejuvenated and replenished. Going right back into rehearsals, Long techs, and shows the week after my chamber session I felt strong and resilient. I'm hooked and can't wait to get back in the chamber! read more

The space is super clean and artfully arranged...just walking in has a soothing effect! The owner, Alex, has clearly given a lot of thought to making people feel comfortable and cared for. There are great extras like hot towels and refreshing cucumber water after your dive. Alex has a warm, reassuring presence and explains the process thoroughly so you know exactly what to expect. HBOT is often prohibitively expensive, so I was delighted to find this local place dedicated to offering the best service at a reasonable price. It's a gift to the community, and I feel like Alex embodies the kind of practical, down-to-earth compassion that seems rare in the medical "industry" today. read more

Walking right in the door ms. Williams was extremely courteous and professional. She explained everything thoroughly and answered all of our questions. Ill admit I was a but nervous since this was my first time. But with a calm environment and reassurance i felt 100% safe and comfortable for our dive. I felt well accommodated and very comfortable in a warm and calming environment. The dive was itself was everything I had expected since it was throughly explained to me and, following instructions, the gum helped alot. I was so calm in fact, I ended up falling asleep! When it was time to come out it was a relatively quick process and there was even some flavored water and warm towels that felt so good after my dive. Since im an avid runner and had run 7 miles the previous day, i felt so refreshed I was ready for another 7! I would definitely recommend you try a chamber session for yourself especially if your work is labor intensive or athletes in general. Discover it for yourself! read more

I have suffered from chronic pain issues for years and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 6 months ago. I try to avoid medication when possible, especially when it requires long term usage and have been researching and trying natural alternatives to treat my pain. I was excited to learn about the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in treating fibromyalgia and have done several sessions at holistic hyperbarics. Alex is extremely knowledgeable and gave me a thorough description of what to expect for my first dive which put any nerves I had at ease and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. The chambers are quite roomy and equipped with fans, lights, pillows and blankets. I have two young kids and I look forward to my "dives" as a chance to get a break, relax and rest. I can comfortably read, journal or do things on my phone when I'm in the chamber. Afterwards I feel relaxed and then I experience an overall increase in my energy level and ability to focus for the rest of the day. Their new office has easy street parking and is beautifully decorated. I highly recommend trying it and feel like everyone can benefit in some way from this type of treatment. read more

I'm an athlete and a postpartum mom recovering from a medically challenging labor that ended in an emergency c-section. My recovery has presented many challenges, including severe sciatic pain after returning to my athletics for 1 day 8 month post c-section surgery (of course after I was cleared by my OB to return to full exercise), in addition to some serious cabin fever since my body has been physically unable to leave the house on most days. I have been in tears multiple times throughout the past week from the pain, as it was making it extra difficult to care for my now 2 month old on top of the emotional challenges of missing my life as an athlete and active woman. I was limping before my 90-minute oxygen chamber treatment, and now I'm running around getting all my Mom errands done! That's after only ONE treatment. I feel a burst of energy and my pain is slim to none. I will FOR SURE be back soon so I can return to my regular sporty lifestyle and become one of those moms hiking and living an active lifestyle with their baby in tow hopefully soon! read more
