When he came back at a later date to pick up a radon detector he had the opportunity to put the items back again but still did not. He also damaged a table in my home moving it and left our gate open which allowed our dog to get out in to the neighborhood. I just don't feel like he inspected our hose with the utmost respect to our property. He also identified an item as needing fixed when in fact it met code and did not need fixing. He found holes in our roof made by a recent solar installation and cited the shingles needed to be replaced and the original installer of the roof (pre-solar) come back to re-inspect roof after repairs to approve roof condition to meet warranty standards. I had the original installer come out and he said the solar installer had already filled the holes as per code allows and in fact the shingles were better off as is than if they were replaced. Our roofing installer specifically recommended that we do not replace the shingles. However we did anyways against the opinion of our installer since David convinced the buyers they needed to be replaced and made it a condition of the contract.

Conly is extremely unprofessional as a contractor. He' doesn't know how to communicate or project…read moremanage proactively. He doesn't check in and he implements the whole project without telling you what's going on or how it looks and then when you're not happy with the outcome he still expects you to pay the full bill. On a recent project he overcharged me for materials I didn't use and refuses to reimburse me. In fact when I asked he called me "crazy" and told me to "lose his number". He absolutely does not know what he's doing with masonry though he sells himself as being knowledgeable. And on other projects, he often has to redo simple tasks several times to get it right. So while his rate is low, you pay threefold in the amount of time it takes him to execute. He is incredibly unprofessional on top of not executing well on projects, calling you names and accusing you of getting in the way of him doing his work. Lots of excuses. It's possible that he's good with home inspection but just doesn't know how to actually do the hands-on work. To be clear I didn't hire him for inspections, I hired him for projects such as tuckpointing and other repairs around the house and the outcomes were always subpar. And then he was defensive and aggressive at different times toward me. Find yourself a real professional contractor who won't call you insulting names after messing up your home projects. I've shared a copy of the shockingly rude text message he sent me and I simply asked him about the cost of some materials he'd charged me for that I didn't use. And I've attached pictures of the mismatched grey mortar he slathered onto my beautiful vintage brick home. Masonry experts now have to drill it all out because it's not only the wrong color, it's the wrong type which will damage structurally because it will settle differently than the original mortar. Conly could and should have matched the mortar color AND type but did not. These are things an expert mason knows and Conly didn't though he claimed he's an expert with tuck pointing. I now have to pay three times as much for someone to come fix Conly's bad work on my house even though I also already paid Conly...

Absolutely phenomenal service from Don, and I was so happy to meet him!…read more He came recommended through our realtor and did an inspection for us last Thursday which we attended. He was incredibly thorough and went through every inch of our new (almost) home and took the time to explain things as he saw them. Next, he took us through the whole house and pointed out everything he noticed, things he thought we could fix, and things he recommended the seller fix. He found things we hadn't even thought to look for! As someone who knows nothing about home improvement or build it was really nice to have Don on our side. I didn't understand a lot of what he said so he took the time to explain things to me in his incredibly friendly demeanor and to let us know what we could do to fix issues ourselves without incurring heavy costs from a contractor. He was so pleasant to work with I felt like I should give him a hug afterwards and invite him to dinner! He delivered his report via email the next morning and I was amazed to see how inclusive and thorough it was. He detailed every little thing he noticed and categorized things by necessity to repair/fix or whether we just needed to do some routine maintenance. His report helped us and our real estate agent decide what to ask the seller to replace or repair and also provided my husband and myself with a clear list of things we needed to do once we get in the home on our end. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Don to any family member or friend who needed a home inspection done, and am highly recommending him to all of you, Yelp. Unfortunately, I learned mold only takes a day or two before prevalent spores can start spreading around your home. Plus, I knew there was previous water damage, so I knew I better call a mold removal company. I'm usually hesitant or skeptical to go with the first company or two I find, but because of my emergency to start repairs, I ended up going with Pure Maintenance. They came quickly, did an evaluation, and made the process simple. They helped me stop the root cause of the mold and found out where my initial water damage was coming from. I was concerned they'd end up tearing out more than what was necessary, but did a great job only attacking the problem. I had to have them come back out to make a couple adjustments, and they were happy to accommodate. Overall, I'm a satisfied customer and would go with them again.
