I was in Maple Grove to pay my respects to my mentor. Other than visiting him and having pho at a…read morenearby restaurant in the past, I don't know the area well. I looked at my rental car. It was running low on gas. It was the perfect time to explore a gas station. I found this Speedway a couple of blocks away. The reviews for this gas station are low. My rating will be an anomaly, likely because I didn't deal with humans. I filled my car's gas tank at the pump and left without saying anything to anyone. Maybe that's the key. Don't talk to staff and you'll have a better Yelp rating? I could be wrong. There seemed to be a steady flow of customers needing to fuel their vehicles. I had no problem finding an available gas pump. I paid at the pump with a credit card. I like that Speedway does not prompt you to enter your ZIP code. I don't have one because I'm a Canadian tourist, but I do have a way of getting by if I must enter one. I learned later on that the Alt ID prompt on the screen allows you to enter your phone number associated with your Speedy rewards. I have been submitting my receipt through the app. I no longer need to. This gas station was clean. I had no issues fuelling my car. I got my receipt so that I could submit my receipt for reward points. This Speedway has a convenience store. Many folks were heading inside to either prepay for gas or buy something. I didn't need anything, so I didn't check it out. I had a good experience here. I'd drop by again when I'm in the area and need fuel or a snack. (14)

I tried the sugar hot vanilla drink.... too sweet for my taste... but hey, it is good to try new flavors. Cashiers had the plexiglass separation. Another customer and I had masks on. Not really other customers. Relatively easy in and out gas station but it's not exactly on the highway. But the area is very busy. When I was exiting the car wash in the dryer, I noticed my rear windshield wiper was pushed away from the window at an odd angle. When I looked it in the whole unit, including the piece that was attached to my car, basically fell apart in my hands. It looked like one of the washer elements must've grabbed a hold of it and ripped it and broke it. I drove around and talked to the service manager and showed her the broken wiper. She said she would talk to the owner and they would let me know if they would do something about it. I called back and stopped back several times and never heard from the owner. Maple Grove, BP Service Center- Horrible experience. I brought my car here after a great experience…read morelast year. It was taken in for an oil change and tire rotation. When I picked up my car, it showed that no work was done. Meaning nothing was reset in the car and no sticker indicating work was done. In addition, the tires were all low. I turned around and brought it back to address. After the service technician spent a good hour trying to figure out how to reset things in the car. He got angry and walked away and stated, "he should have never worked on my car; he doesn't know BMW's". Then, he stopped talking to me. At that time, I tried to leave, well my check engine light was now on. So, I turned around again and brought it back. At this time, the service technician still wouldn't talk to me. I asked the other guy working in service to refund and help. He threw the paperwork at me and also stopped talking to me. Another customer seen this and informed me to call the police, that this type of behavior isn't acceptable. I called the police and called my dad up to try and work with this place. Well, they treated him in the same manner. The nice lady inside working at the gas station side was trying her hardest to get a hold of her manager. Long story short, I left with my check engine light on. The manager was supposed to call me to address, that has not happened. When I did speak with the gas station manager, she informed me that she doesn't work until Monday and will follow up on Monday (this was Friday and now it's a week past). She clearly was not going to help me. Now my car is at the dealership to address the issues this station caused. This place shouldn't be in business. How do I get a hold of the owner of this BP??

You can actually see them cook the burgers so you know they aren't just microwaved from frozen. For being food from a gas station, it is very good. All but one employee at this location are friendly or at least pleasant. If you go here and get the one, you will know...don't let it ruin your day, that's just how they treat everyone :)!

The fountain sodas are frequently out with no signage marking them so you end up wasting a cup and ice before realizing. When telling employees they are out, they state that they know and have pointed to managers not putting in orders on time. But again, if you know they aren't working it isn't hard to tape up a piece of paper stating that. The prices, like many places, are consistently increasing with some items from the main store being significantly higher than they used to be. Gas pumps are also glitchy sometimes not registering cards or perks reward numbers. Most of the employees are genuinely nice and trying their best but then you have a mix of others just seeming to not particularly care. I would say they are most likely tired of listening to frustrated customers or not getting the support from the managers at this location. The location is super convenient and always has steady stream of traffic so maybe it isn't to the point of impacting business but, with a few small adjustments they could make this a much better experience for customers.
