I received an order confirmation email from Ace. I called the store today to see if I could pick up the trimmer tomorrow and was told that their computer said not to fulfill the order. The rep suggested that I place the order again. I tried repeatedly to log in to Ace's website and even tried to order the trimmer as a guest, but the website was dysfunctional. So I found a similar trimmer at Lowes for $153 and ordered it there. I figured it was worth $13 to me to buy a trimmer without all the hassle I had to go through with Ace.

The are abundantly staffed, and the employees are knowledgeable and and always very helpful. The quality of the products they offer is often higher than what I find at the big box stores; and I'd rather buy something which will work well and last a long time than buy multiple iterations of lower quality products. Their downstairs area has top quality grills, and a fantastic selection. It's a gem of a hardware store.

I provided proof of employment and proof that I'm the manager, yet they still refused, demanding a letter. On top of that, they questioned what I was going to use the key for, as if I were a criminal. Frustrated, I went to a proper locksmith--no authorization required, no unnecessary questioning, and the key was made without hassle. Won't be returning here.

Every time I come here I wonder why I ever go to the other stores, which I won't name...but their initials are...Home Depot and Lowes. The service here is great! The products are great! I always find what I need at a good price and they are always happy to order out for whatever I need. I don't see a good reason to go anywhere else. I have had such a great experience here each time I come. It feels good to shop local anyway and they are always so helpful in finding what I need. Great place!

It is great to have these local stores that will support other local opportunities! When I was there selling cookies with girl scouts i did go in and peruse a little bit after the sale was done and picked up a few items to show support back at them. They had a nice variety of items even energy bars or trail mix as I recall. That was some of the stuff i am pretty sure i picked up. The staff was super friendly! The store was clean and organized. They had a good supply of items. If i needed some items from a hardware store I would definitely support Ace! our small local businesses need us more than ever. The big boxes will survive.

In short: I placed an online order for two items that were both shown as being in stock. Got to the store, only one item was actually there. So I cancelled the online order and bought the item they had. Simple, right? Yes, except for one thing: getting my money back for the online order. That took over 3 months, more calls to this location and corporate Home Depot than I can count, and finally I had to file a BBB complaint against corporate HD. As soon as someone with a brain saw my complaint, they immediately refunded my money. But I can't get back the time I wasted, and I really don't appreciate the numerous times when I called this location, had someone tell me they'd look in to it and call me back quickly, and then didn't - ever. This store is poorly managed.

Installer got sick so we didn't know until day 9 the door was wrong. Unfortunately, he stated that's our problem even after I offered to pay a restocking fee and purchasing the correct door from him. Stated its not his fault customers don't read, and he can't be expected to take back items and lose money. The business model here is very short minded and not customer friendly. You take the extra step and build a relationship with your customers, not speak of policies that serve who?
