Another predatory mattress store. Purchased a mattress a few months ago and it's god awful. We…read morespent about $4k all in because we went for the adjustable base. The kid who sold it to us was nice but he said it was more medium and this thing is plush! And I admit I did try it, but when you're laying on dozens of mattress in one day, it becomes difficult to accurately gauge everything. Here's the real problem.... they try to sell you a mattress protector that costs hundreds of dollars. I don't remember the kid saying this (he probably didn't), but if you don't spend that extra money, you can't return it. So even though we bought our own reputable mattress protector for a fraction of the price online, they simply won't accept it. It's a really lousy way to do business. My back is destroyed. I'm gonna try to make it a year and then put this bed in the guest room. Shame on this place, just go somewhere else without these dumb caveats. There's a million mattress stores in Fort Collins

Dennis was a great listener and offered his expertise to help with my husbands tossing/turning and scoliosis. He was incredibly patient with us as we tested his recommendations and decide on what we wanted to go for. Delivery day came and the team was so great! They helped us choose a height for the base, made sure to set out moving blankets so they did not scratch the wood floor, and made sure we were happy with the placement. They also brought a new houseplant, bottle of champagn, and card from their staff congratulating us in our new home. Seriously love our new bed and so thankful we stumbled into this store! Could not recommend enough!

Terrible mattress. Started out with the king sized urban mattress brand hybrid in a medium and…read moreexchanged it for the firm (was called "uptown firm), not sure what it equates to now) after 30 days because the medium too soft and already started losing support. The firm was fine for about the first 3 months and after 6 months it was so uncomfortable that we had to add a topper. Unfortunately we couldn't exchange it again and the trial period is so short they might as well not have one. 2 1/2 years and 4 different toppers later this mattress is so uncomfortable (with or without a topper) that my husband and I can barely sleep. He is larger than I am and I constantly roll into him the entire night due to the lack of support this mattress provides. When I do manage to get to sleep I wake up in so much pain that most mornings I physically can't move my legs or neck. I have to slowly wiggle myself to the edge of the bed to be able to stand up. We're not old either!! Both of us are very active and fit! But We have started sleeping in our guest bedrooms or the couch just to get a decent nights rest. 0/10 do not recommend. It might be the worst $2500+ I've ever wasted. The 2 star rating is only because the salesperson and delivery people were kind although in hindsight I'm not sure anything the sales person said to get us to buy the mattress was actual true so this should probably be more like 1.5 stars.

Uncomfortable Experience in Every Way! I stopped by America's Mattress in Fort Collins hoping to…read morefind a new mattress, but the whole experience left me more uneasy than rested. Jeremiah, the salesperson who "helped" me, was both unhelpful and downright creepy. He hovered too close, made a few off-putting comments, and didn't seem to know much about the products. When I asked simple questions about firmness and warranty, he either gave vague answers or tried to steer the conversation toward unrelated topics. The entire visit felt awkward and uncomfortable, and I ended up leaving without buying anything -- and honestly, I wouldn't go back. If you're shopping for a mattress, I'd recommend going somewhere else where the staff is professional and respectful. This place was neither. -- Condi

However there were quite a few people in the store today. The store was clean and spacious. There were lots of selection. We might go back to get one of the less expensive mattresses. We are currently undecided. Overall a little above our budget.

Avoid at all costs - if you get a working machine great, if you don't you're out of luck and money…read morewith this company. Long story short - they delivered 2 "brand new" washers with huge holes in the drum and are taking no responsibility and we have yet to receive a refund or confirmation of a refund and it's been almost 3 weeks since our order. We bought a brand new Whirlpool washer/dryer set on 4/26/25. All seemed well and John Hartley the salesman seemed helpful and kind. We ended up buying brand new (instead of scratch and dent) to avoid any possible issues down the road. Delivery was 4/29/25 and within 20 minutes of the washer being installed and running the test cycle, water was leaking all over the floor. The delivery people refused to come back and check their own installation. We called the store and was told that we needed to call Whirlpool to get a technician out to look at the machine. The technician arrived on Thursday (5/1/25) and the moment he took the cover off the machine he noticed a huge hole right in the drum which was the source of the leak. He actually told us that this was caused by either the delivery team dropping the unit or someone mishandling and dropping it at the Appliance Factory warehouse or somewhere along the line from the manufacturer. We called Appliance Factory back and asked them to send out a new machine - we were extremely patient with them but frustrated since this was brand new, but mistakes happen right? They delivered another brand new machine on 5/8/25 and I personally went out to meet the drivers and had them open the cover on the driveway and it revealed another even bigger hole in the drum. I rejected the delivery and they took the machine away and since we still had the old broken machine in our basement I demanded that they take that one as well since what were we going to do with a broken washer? We decided we no longer wanted the dryer either since it was clear to us they are selling defective machinery and have no integrity behind the products they are selling. We have talked with management (Doug) and John 5+ times since this entire situation and they do not stand behind the products they are selling and are quick to throw the manufacturer under the bus. If you encounter an issue with anything you buy from them, they have no repair team or refund process that doesn't involve them getting a credit from the manufacturer before releasing your money back to you. They will continue to hold your money hostage and claim that everything is "above their paygrade" and "out of their control". They also told us that they found 14 units with holes in the drum that were supposedly "new" so who knows what they are actually selling to you. Doug (the manager of this store who avoids getting on the phone and prefers his salespeople be the buffer between him and customers unless you call the president's hotline) has no integrity, compassion, or thought behind his actions. I have attached pictures of the drum holes as evidence. Save yourself the trouble and buy from a big box store that is easier to work with and doesn't hold your money hostage.

Offhand this is my impression: Service: Our salesman was abundantly helpful and not too over-pressuring like some mattress places (gaaaah I wish I could remember his name though, maybe I'll find later and edit this review) good job! Quality of the mattresses appeared stellar, it's hard to measure that initially, so check for my follow up review in 10 years or so :-) but I'm impressed with their warranty coverages which included some levels of protection against wear and tear, if they say that much about their mattresses, that's impressive! Prices were definitely premium, prepare to shell out extra compared to their competitors, BUT I get the feeling the quality will be worth it. In short: If you're the kinda person that insists that a mattress be good quality and are willing to pay a few bucks more (while still being reasonable) for that to happen, this is your place!
