Delicious beers and a fun food truck helped me enjoy a very pleasant evening in Springfield. I think the only thing that would have made it perfect would have been a power outlet near the table where I could have charged my laptop but that's really a minor thing. Parking was a challenge and I was just about to leave when I spotted the lot across the street that said "Hold Fast Parking." We were this close to abandoning and losing this lovely time. Friendly bartender, comfy space inside with a really fun vibe and yes, two delicious "Power Play Pilsner" beers while I enjoyed an insane hot dog from "Doggy Style." I can see returning here especially now that I know the parking situation! [Review 575 of 2024 - 282 in Missouri - 21606 overall]
After lunch on a Friday afternoon, we stopped in here for a few drinks. We sat at the bar and met, and talked to Carol, one of the owners. Mackenzie was behind the bar and took great care of us. My husband tried a few IPA's and liked them. He usually drinks IPA's that are a little more hoppy, but he thought the ones he had were perfect for the afternoon and the weather. I'm not a beer drinker, but I really liked the rum and coke slushy. There was definitely some rum in there. The place is large and has a lot of tables/seating. They have food trucks at night, bands, etc. all the doors (garage style) weee open and these was a nice breeze. In addition to beer and a few alcoholic slushes, they also have ciders, wine, seltzers, canned cocktails, alcoholic popsicles, and nonalcoholic and gluten free beers. Support local. Support women owned. Check them out!
I came here to celebrate my cousins Bachelorette party and was immediately greeted by the awesome employees. Mackenzie and Jamie were so helpful and a lot of fun. I didn't get to try any of the food items but the drinks were 10/10. I will definitely be back with my girlfriends the next time I'm in town. This place was too cute.
My favorite Brewery in town! The staff/bartenders are always welcoming. The beer and food trucks are on point. The service is impeccable, professional, fun, and entertaining! The band talent makes you leave feeling like you're on cloud 9. Thanks, Hold Fast Brewery, for all the good times. I'll bring bring my handsome boyfriend back I'm sure.
So this is a really cool place. When I was there they had a local jazz band playing on a Tuesday night. It was full of people but there is plenty of seating. The beer was very good with a nice verity. I had the 2 stouts. Queen of Stouts and Peanut Butter. Both were great. This is a great option for a local downtown brewery!
We loved this spot. You know it's going to be a great place to spend some time when you walk in and cute dogs are hanging out around the bar. Most importantly, the beer was great. My personal favorite was the porter, but my wife loved the vanilla bean blonde the best. All that we tried were top notch! The old fire station where it's housed was such a neat vibe, right down to the original fire pole. We loved that it was all women working in there (not something you see a lot at craft breweries) and one of the owners chatted for a bit and has a really cool story. She said she has been told she's crazy for starting this place, I think we'd all be crazy not to patron it and support it full force! When we're in town again we will definitely be back! Thanks for a fun night.
One of the breweries on the Springfield brewery tour very nice place!!! Great location!!! But not my favorite IPA but I am very picky when it comes to my beer . But very cool place to visit!
Definitely the best patio of all breweries, I also love their rotating food carts, and they have killer swag. But I've gotta say; not the best craft beer I've ever had. They just really haven't nailed their formulas down, everything seems just a bit off. For instance their Smash has a funky front note, and finishes sour and dry in the throat. Every beer I had that was theirs had either a foul beginning or ending taste. The brews also didn't seem consistent, the taste is different week to week. The other issue I have is the price; they are extremely too expensive for not nailing the taste and balance down of their beers. My advice to them is lower your prices, and really work on those formulas. So 4 stars for the patio, swag, and service; 2 for the beer and price, making it a balance of 3 stars.
Flights of 6 or 4! Great vibe! Really nice outside space that opens up into the main space. Good swag!
Wonderful place to have a relaxing night. I love the indoor, outdoor floor plan. The beer was great and the staff was friendly. I definitely recommend this place to all the craft beer fans!
I believe by far the best selection of beers in Springfield. Their old firehouse location has a great atmosphere with a people watching patio and bags in the back. Overall, every beer we had we enjoyed and would have again; Hold Fast Raspberry Wheat, Hold Fast Momo Peach Sour, Åbro Rekorderlig Pear (Päron), Hold Fast Full Bird Hefe
Absolutely love the vibe here and their beer! It's an open air establishment with inside and patio seating. It was HOT outside, but they have several fans blowing inside that make a huge difference. All of the bartenders were super nice and had great recommendations based off of what we like. It was hard to pick a favorite! They have a great variety. The live music was nice and there was a food truck on site. Take note that the brewery doesn't serve food and there might not always be a food truck there. I believe they do allow you to bring food in though. So glad we stopped here and would recommend it to all craft beer lovers!

I heard about this place from my rover sitter for Lady, drove down the wrong way street and a police officer was coming towards me, I told him where I wanted to go and he was nice enough to say next street, this was several years ago, now I'm back and they have the silli cups and had to get one, more beers this time before they just open up, parking is small but u can park across the street, they have a new machine Zambezi machine, the blue cool or the brown, ask the bartender and she like the blue and a customer said blue so I took the blue and they were rightthe staff is friendly and dog friendly place too, this use to be a firehouse, it's interesting that building that are empty can be use for a good cause, there is different food truck each time, read more

Great place to hangout and bring the pup because the whole place is doggo friendly! I get excited when places are dog friendly but for real the staff is nice and the beer is yummy and if you have a large group you'll still fine plenty of space. I enjoyed most of the dark beers as well as the vanilla ale. We left with two crowlers in hand and our bellies happy. read more
