They tell you a couple hours, so you take a half day from work. People from 8 am are waiting when you walk in at your 10 am appointment and they don't get called back until 10:45. They do not respect your time. Get a referral for a different surgeon.

My mom has been having the same ongoing issue with the same crown coming off her crown popped off on July 6, 2023 she wasn't eating anything she was simply TALKING the rude desk staff called on July 10, 2023 for her to come in at 4pm I was hesitant on taking her back to this place because this is unacceptable he forced putting the same crown that clearly doesn't fit as a temporary the same day her face was swollen He didn't numb her when drilling her tooth. He also nicked her tongue with the drill it is now Sunday morning July 16, 2023 and her tongue is still in pain. We are never returning back and I honestly hope he doesn't see another patient again that explains all of the cancellations and open appointments he has. Oh and at my last cleaning he didn't even have the decency to come look at my teeth afterwards. Please please please go elsewhere to a dentist that cares about their patients. UPDATE: 7/20/2023 my mother received a rude voicemail from the unprofessional desk staff stating that it is normal for the dentist to not numb patients before drilling which is insane she is still in pain to this day she was not caring at all about the situation and stated that she will remove us from the schedule which is fine because I never enjoyed having someone in my mouth that is not groomed and looks like he just rolled out of bed. My suggestion would be that you put the time and effort that you spend getting new fancy equipment and at least look presentable at work. I had a sudden onset of severe jaw pain that lasted a week with no improvement. Two oral surgeons were recommended by a local dentist. The first one did not have an opening for about 10 weeks. The second surgeon was Dr. Carey who was able to see me within one day of contacting him. He, his staff, and the entire office experience inspired confidence. After his very thorough exam he showed me the x-ray, explained what the problem was, and the treatment he could provide. He did not press like a salesman, just waited for me to process the information and tell him how I would like him to proceed. The next day he performed the surgery which had some above average challenges. Every aspect of my encounter with Dr. Carey and his staff was first class. In the last year, two routine procedures have gone wrong, each requiring additional appointments for corrections. My visits also feel consistently rushed, and more often than not I leave with a feeling that something isn't right, only to confirm later that my original issue wasn't resolved, or that a new one has developed. I don't know whether this reflects a staffing shortage, an increased patient load, or something else entirely. But the experience no longer reflects the standard of care I came to trust. At this point, my trust in this practice as a patient has been significantly damaged.
