Tasty food! Would definitely return. It's got a nice café vibe to it with friendly staff. The eggplant parmagan was an excellent choice. The lasagna was not the traditional version we are used to (missing tomato sauce) but was good. All entrees were served with side salad.

Quesadilla is surprisingly tasty.

When in Copenhagen try to sit outside on a patio as you quaff something refreshing while you nibble on a satisfying sandwich. This place checks all of those boxes. Even though the menu may seem pedestrian at first glance, everything is tasty and made with fresh, organic ingredients. The "quesadilla" is made with goat cheese and the tuna melt has red pepper and avocado. Yum!

Great spot that we stopped in on a rainy day in Copenhagen. The coffee is tasty! Wonderful "Copenhagy" vibe and delicious beverages. They have wine too!

Went to Holberg No 19 with a big group on a Sunday morning. Eventhough they did know, that we came 15 hungry people, they haven't even put tables together. In advance they also had known, that we were to eat. Not a thing of the food were prepared. It took aged to get served. The food was okay, but nothing more. It lacked something extra, may some fresh fruit or olives. The food was only a 3 star thing and the service a 2 star thing. I will probably never come at Holberg No 19 again.

Cosy low-key italian / spanish inspired café for local inhabitants right next to Nyhavn. A small but varied selection of salads and sandwiches. Cheap compared to Nyhavn also the coffee/cappuccino made italian style with the special foam and cantuccini on the side. Has seats inside and outside. People sit on computers or are reading books. Not the best acoustic, not the newest furniture or decoration, nothing fancy about the servings, but tasty perfectly sized portions with ingredients of good quality. Would recommend any time.

Great sandwiches

Nice place with good value for money sandwiches. You have to order at the bar and pick up your food yourself. Food here is pretty healthy and fresh and water is complimentary. Service could be a bit better and toilet a bit cleaner though. Would be better if you could even flush it too... But heck, you're probably here for the sandwiches and those are good. Wouldn't order more then one cause they are pretty big compared to "regular" ones. Enjoy and don't forget the free water... You have to get it yourself.

The open faced cheese bread is amazing and the bruschetta is piled high with tomato with lots of garlic. Definitely a great spot to grab a bite to eat. The staff was very friendly as well!

Amazing place for lunch. Was out and about touring the city and needed a place to sit down and relax with a little bite to keep me going. The lady who took my order was very nice and helpful. The inside was cozy and warm.

The breakfast is nice if you beat the crowds. Service is slow and the place is small.

This small café is simple but pleasant. Their grilled sandwiches are tasty and surprisingly filling, and the staff is very nice.

I happened into this place because I am American and naturally a lover of bagels but had been…read moreliving in Spain where bagels don't exist for almost 8 mo the at the time. I had been aight seeing all day and was getting hungry. My friend and I planned on going to the park to read so we picked up bengals on the way. This was one of our cheapest meals in the city so it was already off to a great start. I got a spicy chicken with a cheesy bagel. And we took our bagels To go to the park. I thought it was great and ate every bite. I would recommend for a cheap and filling option, especially on the go. I don't remember there being much seating at all so not good for sitting down and just talking.

Tl;Dr: Probably the best bagel sandwich I've had in my life. (I've had them in NY, Cali and all…read moreover US) Steaming hot bagels fresh out of the oven. Highly recommend #10 Spicy chicken. Freshly squeezed OJ. Bagelwiches = bagel + cream cheese + cheese slice + protein + veggies = Yummy goodness! ***The long read*** How I got here: I had an early morning flight from Prague to Copenhagen. Lack of sleep and the early morning flight had left me tired and hungry. My friend who'd been to Copenhagen before mentioned this as a must visit place so I thought of grabbing a quick breakfast here on my first day in Copenhagen. I took the M2 train from the airport and got out at Kongens Nytrov. A quick 4 mins walk later I was here at the Bagel co. Ambience: Although it's a tiny place the aroma of freshly baked bagel won't let you miss this place as you walk past it. It has a bench on the inside and 2 tables with 2 chairs each on the outside. Menu is on the inside and outside as well. You can see a display of fresh veggies and meat behind the glass. The experience: You can pick from a preset menu that's on the wall both inside and outside. They're all bagel sandwiches (bagelwiches?) served hot or cold depending on the protein inside. Small fire icon besides the hot one would cue you as to which of them are hot sandwiches. You can either choose the preset ones or order your own sandwich. They have popular options like omelet, Lox, pulled pork and even veggie options like the veggie, falafel etc. You get to choose from a variety of bagels like cheddar, plain, tomato, sesame and different cream cheese. Feel free to swap out any of it. You can even get different cream cheese on each slice. Veggies are super fresh. If you don't believe, just hear the lettuce crunch as they shape it into your bagel. I found myself coming back to this place again and I ended up trying the omelet, spicy chicken sandwich and Lox (smoked salmon) Out of the 3, my favorite was Spicy chicken. The chicken was tender and with just the right level of spice. Omelet with bacon in it is also the quintessential breakfast of the Americas! They serve coffee and freshly squeezed OJ! I got introduced to bagels in NY 10 yrs ago, so the idea of bagel has always been bagel + cream cheese and that's it. Although I've seen bagelwiches before, this place is what got me hooked on to the idea of it. I am almost afraid to try out bagel sandwiches in the US because the Bagel co has set the bar really high. If the US ones don't meet the bar I may just have to book a flight to Copenhagen to get my fix!
