This places feel SO scammy to me. They ordered several blood tests that I said were not necessary b/c I had just had them at a previous doctor. These weren't standard panels, they were certain food sensitivity tests, etc. They were ordered anyway. They try (and to my shame, succeeded) to get you to buy all these supplements and products that are outrageously expensive. Then, even worse, when it comes to billing and dealing with insurance companies, the staff is inept. I was sent some crazy high lab bill ... for over $5,000 (including for labs I said I didn't need, mind you). The lab told me it wasn't covered by insurance. And it took incredible time and effort to deal with these bills. I am more than willing to pay a lot for my health. But not to this place. It just feels wrong. I feel like I got taken for a ride here, and I'm so annoyed with myself for letting it happen. read more

The CentreSpring MD billing office is not good. Apparently they keep your credit or debit card on file, along with the security code too. They charged my debit card and did not call me in advance for permission to use this card for payment. This has happened three times now. I do not have a problem in any way with paying for services - however, the problem I have with the billing office is two-fold: no advance warning (so my bank account could have been overdrawn) and perhaps I would have chosen to use my FSA card instead. New clients - beware. The billing office at CentreSpring MD keeps your credit card on file along with the security code and you may not have a choice when they bill against it. read more

I have been a patient at CentreSpring for many many years. I love what the practice offers and how it has evolved. Dr Taz is passionate about what she does and genuinely cares. I went to Rosie for years but she isn't at the practice anymore. Miss her so much! I have found that they will offer some testing that is expensive but will work with you if you don't want those tests done. Sometimes the admin stuff of the office can be unorganized but you can always reach someone when you call the office. I love the spa and what it offers. Ryan administers the IVs and does a fantastic job with veins that like to be difficult. Would highly recommend CentreSpring. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there is room for improvement with the admin side of the house but shouldn't deter anyone from getting excellent care. read more

INTRO -------------------------------------------- I've dealt with some serious stress over the last couple of years from a stressful job and it wrecked havoc on my body! Now that I'm free of it (finally!), I am taking care of my internal health. My cranial therapist who is also a CT here at CentreSpring recommended Dr. Taz to me and this is my review. ------------------------------------------------ PARKING & LOCATION I've only gone to the Dresden location and they have their own parking lot and it's free! -------------------------------------------- EXTERIOR & INTERIOR It's a cute brick building on the corner and they have 2 buildings. The center and then all the services and spa are in the building to the left. -------------------------------------------------I ATMOSPHERE & STAFF All the staff are really nice! I felt really welcomed and most were educated in their services, appt scheduling, and knew where to direct me to. I did have 2 issues; 1 where the system marked me at the Dresden location but my appointment was physically in Alpharetta and I had to drive back in traffic home and took the call over the phone. Of course Sarah was Awesome, and apologized for the mixup and gave me really good details. The other was that I kept receiving calls about a balance and I prepaid for all of my appointments. It was terribly annoying because they kept demand payment (nicely) but asking for payment when I could clearly see in my invoice and payment folder an actual receipt. We got it situated so I haven't gotten any more but I do not like to be called daily and over weekends over something that was already taken care of so giving them a 4 stars for that. ----------------------------------------------- EXPERIENCE NOW, Dr. Taz? Amazing! She took her time, she listened, she documented, gave me a great plan to follow, took ALL the correct tests to monitor and detect current status of my internal health, and truly knew the body! For the first time in my life, my own research matched or confirmed my WHY I was having issues with certain things. I am thoroughly pleased with my assessment and think the out of pocket costs for the services are well worth it! I would not recommend this place. I mentioned to Rosi Patel I had a lump, and my gynecologist told me I needed a mammogram. Rosi was dismissive and told me I didn't need it. She said it was a symptom of having the flu. I listened to her and delayed my mammogram. I trusted her. I should have listened to my intuition. Cancer does not discriminate. Women under 40 have a higher risk of dying from the disease. I could have caught it earlier if it hadn't been for trusting someone who didn't have my best interest at heart. Not once did she reach out to apologize. Money hungry practice!!! read more

I really love the level of care and attention I receive at CentreSpring. I have been with CentreSpring for a little over year and previously with another Integrative practitioner that was great. I decided to switch to have more hands on care since my previous doctor was rarely in the office (mostly due to covid) CentreSpring also has a number of other services (spa, acupuncture, counseling, IV therapy just to name a few), which makes it a one stop shop. I get most of my labs done on sight and if I need a supplement I just pick it up during my appointment. Integrative/Holistic medicine is really patient centered so while you are under the care of the doctor they engage you to make sure you are okay with the treatments - more of a partnership approach rather than an authoritative approach. The focus on the whole body and connecting the mind/body approach works well for me and I like to have a say in the progress of my healing. I also understand that healing is a process and takes time. I see a nurse practitioner at the practice and I feel comfortable that I am getting the best care. If I have questions in between my appointments I just email patient care and they normally respond in a reasonable amount of time. I have only had one issue where my prescription was sent to another pharmacy but it was super easy to get it transferred. Other than that - I really like it here read more

We paid 1,000 dollars for a "full health assessment" for our son. First meetings was over 3 hours long with about 10 minutes of that spent with Dr. Tas. Mostly waiting in the lobby. After getting an MRI at CHOA, we had it sent to Dr. Taz. We needed that copy and it took a week to get that from Dr. Taz with daily emails and calls. (actually nobody answers the phone so calls are useless). Then, I needed a physical form for my son to go to school. That took 10 days, a dozen emails back & forth, and 5 voicemails left. It takes 3 minutes to fill out the form and I ended up going to their office and waited in the lobby for it. It was due the next day. I sent the same form to another Doctor and had it in my inbox in 24 hours. It might be the biggest ripoff I have ever been involved with. read more

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE I had a scheduled appointment and a couple days prior to my appointment, or maybe a day prior, my 6 year old got very very sick. I'm a mother first so obviously I wasn't worried about my appointment because my daughter was not doing well. I called Centre spring MULTIPLE times To inform them and left messages and no one got back to me. They ended up getting back to me the day before my appointment saying I could bring my daughter to my appointment but I didn't get to this message until the day of my appointment because again, I was caring for my daughter. Well the day of my appointment comes and i end up extremely sick as well. We both have high fevers, chills, a HORRIBLE migraine, chest pain, etc. I don't think anyone in their right mind would even think about their appointment. I couldn't even get up to use the bathroom. My daughter and I end up in the emergency room and have some type of horrible virus. Have to have fluids etc. My appointment was November 8 I believe and it's now November 23 and we are JUST getting better. I check my messages and emails and everything since I haven't even been able to look at my phone and I see a message from the "LOVELY" Sara Kehrt. I'm assuming she's just a receptionist or something but she indicates that I owe $475 for a no call no show and if I don't pay it it's going to collections. Mind you this is AFTER I paid $3500 to the emergency room for me and my daughter. I called MULTIPLE times, left messages and they decided to get back to me day before my appointment. No sympathy, no "are you guys ok," no apologies, no nothing. Just "you owe us $475 and you need to pay it or we will send it to collections." Im no expert but I have friends and family who are who indicated that this is a form of medical billing malpractice and I can easily sue for negligence and lack of understanding on my circumstances once I provide court with my emergency room visit documents. Why in the world would I want to do that, they could easily say "I'm so sorry this happened, let's get you rescheduled." This is what you call a money hungry business and I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone, I'm also in a huge natural mom group who are always looking for integrative docs and will be posting about this incident as well and telling them to stay far away. Not only could me and my daughters situation have been much worse, but the fact that they don't even care about how Ill we were is scary, I would NEVER want this type of company to care for me or my family. It's insane. DO NOT COME HERE! Taz- if you want to contact me with your lies- feel free to email me so I can keep record of everything. I have all of my call logs which I will be sending with the other documents for this case showing that there were zero messages or calls from you guys besides on the day of my last appointment saying my daughter could come in. There is ZERO history of me not showing up for my appointments. I literally made one appointment in 2019 and SHOWED UP! I saw nurse practitioner grace and have never needed to go back. The lies are unreal. I posted about this in my network of women who are indicating the same thing has happened to them. The visit and experience were good. The reception is really undertrained. Beyond the headaches of trying to get ahold of someone to schedule an appointment, I specifically asked if I needed to fast prior to the appointment as was told "no." Thankfully I did. Also, I know this is superficial but the entire Brookhaven complex is billed as a wellness complex, yet the signage, walkways and canvas awnings are all moldy and the planters are empty. The landscape beds need help too. It's not very welcoming nor does it convey a sense of wellness. read more

I found Dr. Taz via Instagram and was excited to have her help with a medical issue that I have been having. I called the office (which was very hard to get in touch with) a few times to ask what the cost of a visit would be. When I finally got someone to answer the phone they almost made me faint when they said it was 600 to see Dr. Taz, or 300 for another Doctor. I said I'd have to think about it, because the price was so insane. I saved up the money and made my appt with Dr. Taz. My appt was booked months out, and I hoped that I was making the right decision to spend that much, when I can go to a holistic doc locally for 200. Dr. Taz seemed very knowledgeable on my issue, so I went ahead. Had my appt, Dr. Taz was nice. My appt felt short for that amount, but whatever. I didnt walk away with any great info, but she said she wanted to do a bunch of tests, which I expected. What I did not expect is the INSANE markup on the tests, but I always shop for my own as I am self pay, and called the office back to clarify that I don't have the money for thousands of dollars of tests and multiple repeat visits. They said I could shop for my own. I ended up cutting the list down to the most important tests, and found then for about half price and ordered them myself on Walk-in lab and canary club. Yesterday, I got my credit card bill and Centrespring charged FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS on my card. I called the office, because there surely had to be a mistake. Was told "1500 is what Dr. Taz charges for a first visit" I explained that I would have NEVER made an appt for 1500, and was told not once, but TWICE that it is 600. The office just kept repeating the same story and I told them that I am willing to pay the 600 that I was quoted, but I'm not paying 900 more because THEY made a mistake on their end. I called my credit card and reported it. The receptionist then informed me that they'll send me to collections. After the fact, I look at YELP and there are MULTIPLE cases of this. I requested a time over the weekend and received a call back late in the day. The male on the phone was condescending regarding time requested and patient info submitted. This seems to be quite the ripoff. I was made aware of the 72 hour cancellation but 72 hours would have been on a Sunday for me, and they are closed. I also had a lapse in my company's insurance due to errors on their part, and it would not be active again until the following month. I was charged over $500 and met with zero humanity from this team. They speak to you like robots and treat you like you are one as well. After reading more reviews about their "assessment" appointments for new patients, I feel like I dodged a bullet. I love functional medicine, but I don't know if their way of doing it is is very functional itself. We are all probably better off going to a smaller office with a more human approach. read more

The great: The medical assistants/tech staff are fantastic, some of the best I've experienced. The good: If you have a minor ailment, cold, flu, rash, vitamin/mineral deficiency, need specifically a naturopath for preferencial reasons, need very extensive testing done or to stock up on your favorite supplements this is a great place to visit. The eh: High, high turn over of intake/desk employees and very poor training provided to them. The bad: Every appointment I had over one year started late, between 1 and almost 4 hours with Dr. Taz. Each appointment was typically started by someone else after the tech team did their rounds. When Dr. Taz did arrive she was distracted and would rush through the appointment. During my year of "care" we paid over 7k for tests, blood, urine, stool and breath tests, as well as, supplements. My health deteriorated while in the care of this office which ultimately brought me to the ER and ICU where all of my issues were not only addressed but resolved. MAGIC. I should say thank you that my care here landed me in an ambulance, ER, ICU and hospital. Piedmont fixed what other doctors could not from 2015 to 2019. Your mileage may vary. It's hit and miss with any doctor and if you will receive care that is life saving or changing for you. You can only try an office and make up your own mind. read more
