It was great to find this place on our trip to Walmart. I was excited to try it and decided to. Strawberry flavor was what I went with. The associate was polite and made my shave ice quickly. He didn't skimp on the flavoring which was nice because sometimes there's no flavor to shave ice not done right. Small store but has seating and it's nicely decorated. I tried the coconut ice cream it was amazing. I usually get ice cream at the bottom of my shaved ice. It tastes so good. It feels like we're in Hawaii when we eat it. I love there place. We stopped by on a whim as they are located in Walmart. They have multiple sugar free shaved ice flavors! Friendly staff and interesting gourmet popcorn. Dill is a favorite popcorn flavor and theirs is great. Keep them busy so they stick around. My only suggestion would be to have nutritional information available for the popcorn. If you want the true taste of Hawaii, go to Hokulia! Their shave ice is like soft snow that melts in your mouth with a plethora of flavors, including sugar free options. They also have many delicious ice cream flavors to choose from (fruity, tropical, traditional, sorbet and sherbet). My favorite being Guava!! And don't get me started on the smoothies...you must try the Kona Colada! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!! We hired Hokulia for two corporate events and they were awesome! All our employees LOVED them and the Shave Ice was SO GOOD. Galen and his team served over 600 of our employees at one event and another 100 employees at another. His staff members were very nice and all had smiles on their faces when serving our staff. This is located inside a Walmart and they offer tropical, Hawaiian flavors for their shave ice and ice cream. You can put ice cream in the bottom of your shave ice - any flavor they have, not just vanilla. I had Melona and Haupia shave ice on top of Macadamia nut ice cream and and my husband had POG shave ice also on Macadamia nut ice cream. They were both REALLY good. So often, we try shave ice only to find it chunky like a snow cone and then we're disappointed, but not in this case. Their shave ice is of the quality you would find in Hawaii and their flavors are unique enough that we are definitely going to come back to try more. They also have a small seating area so you have a chance of eating indoors, which is nice on hot days like today. read more
