Thinking the keys were in the trunk we knew we needed a locksmith. After having 0 success with my roadside assistance (grrr) I found Secure Locks. Explained my situation and was told a technician would reach out shortly (I had heard that story before). But then there was Edoardo. He called and was so great. I explained the situation. Understanding that he couldn't give me an exact number (because we weren't certain the keys were in the trunk), we agreed on the estimate and set a time for him to come out - SAME DAY. He called with his ETA and was ON TIME (I love when that happens). After some tried and true methods, he was able to open the car and then the trunk but alas, no keys. Knowing this might be the case, we went forward with him creating new keys in his mobile shop. He was back and forth between the car and his work van. He was efficient and thoughtful. He explained what work needed to happen and within 2 hours we had 2 new keys and a renewed belief in people following through on what they promise. Jayden quickly found and fixed the issue I was having with my door hand and lock. He also spend some time trying to fix my deadbolt too, but he realized the key pad needed to be replaced. Though he worked on it for quite a while, he didn't charge me for it. The Professional Locksmith seems like a good, honest company with knowledgeable workers. Another company told me the handles were beyond repair and needed to be replaced and quoted me $300, but Jayden fixed it for half that.

Bullis had better reviews on Yelp so I went there. They had a small parking lot attached to the business. It cost $20 to get my car key copied and took 25 minutes. I'd say it was pretty busy at a 1:30pm on Thursday. They did not greet me/acknowledge my existence upon walking in but they were very polite when providing my service.

They made new keys for each unit so one key could be used for both the front and back doors, which made things much simpler. They also created two separate versions of common area keys for the front and rear buildings, while making sure both worked for the shared laundry room.
