He told me he'd call me back in a few hours and see if he could squeeze me in. 2 days went by and no phone call from Aaron Tompkins. It'a the middle of winter, he took my money put in the equipment and wouldn't come back to rectify the issues. Fortunately, a family friend referred another company who came out and fixed the issues. It took them maybe an hour and it was up and running. Aaron finally called me back 4 days later!! I told him we had another company fix it and asked where I could send the bill to be reimbursed by him. He lost his mind after that. Yelling and swearing at me. Threatening to put a lean on my home and to pursue legal action against me for harassment because I called him 3 times in 2 days trying to get answers. When I told him that we had no heat for 4 days and he was nowhere to be found. He said, "show me in the contract where it says the equipment needs to be running" In legal terms it says is that he would provide and install equipment that would be specifically sized for me home. Bret was recommended by Brenda at Charlton Oil. I called Bret on a Saturday afternoon, and he returned my call right away. He agreed to come by the house the following Monday to assess the situation and prepare an estimate. Bret called that same night with the estimate, and said he could do all of the work (drain the oil out of the tank, replace tank, install a new filter and oil line to the furnace) later in the week if all parts were available. He called on Wednesday to say that everything was ready and he and his son could do the work first thing Thursday morning. Bret and his son arrived, and all work as accomplished that morning. They assured me they would "let her know I was waiting" but were never able to offer an idea of when the quote would come. It has now been almost a month. They have sent me so many spam e-mails asking me to leave a review that I've decided to oblige them. They might have great plumbers who do excellent work. I don't know. That's only part of working with a plumber, and this kind of delay speaks too poorly of the rest of the operation for me to feel comfortable working with them.
