Hi everybody! I'd like to share my recent journey with you, and how Dr. Hoffart has made such an impact in my life yet again, especially in this weird case which left others clueless. I've gone from an amazing, but suffering previous collegiate volleyball season. From starting - to a wheelchair and on crutches - to now walking everyday, increasing little by little. It's amazing to think something like a minor car accident (or anything) could have done this to my neck. Everything is connected in your body which many doctors have a hard time believing. I have gone to countless appointments, many many doctors and western medicine, where they have been clueless to why I had the symptoms I did.. not being able to walk with ease, stretching my lower extremities along with the loss of sensation there. I had the strangest of symptoms, with no injury. After being questioned for MS, lyme disease, and neurological damage. There was still no result of what was wrong. The pain expanded to the inability to drive and go to my classes.. where my legs were going completely cold/numb not only in chairs but ALL THE TIME. After months of not getting any answers I honestly didn't know what would happen to my volleyball career, let alone my legs. I was also prescribed a nerve medication for the time being. It did it's job by numbing the pain, however if I could have avoided taking that, I would have. It only added more issues to the situation... like rapid heart rate, brain fog, slurred speech (so scary), constriction of my veins (causing blue and white toes/feet/legs) and many more.. "lol" Finally..and unfortunately I decided to move home from Oceanside, since I was incapable to even live on my own. Dr. Hoffart has always been the one to correct my pain in the past, and I'm not surprised he figured it out yet again. After several x-rays he found that my atlas was 6 mm misaligned along with other vertebrae. 6 mm isn't much on a ruler, but in terms of your neck it is a lot. It was restricting my spinal fluid flow, and classified in the top 90% of misalignments. The spinal fluid constriction contributed to nerve swelling in my neck. Being one of the 15 chiropractors who practice Atlas adjustment in California, I'm very,very fortunate to have him. The misalignment of one's atlas can lead to anything, even these severe symptoms. I would have never known. But now that I'm adjusted, my head sits completely differently on my neck, I breathe better than I even thought was possible, and my lower pains have almost diminished. I'm back to moving forward in my life; which I never thought I would be able to say! read more

It was Monday and my back was in serious pain and I could not breath deeply without serious pain. After months of training, I was running Ragnar (a two day adventure race) 4 days later on Friday morning. My husband recommended Dr. Hoffart, so off I went for my first chiropractic visit. When I arrived, Dr. Hoffart gave me a kleenex for a few tears that came out (the pain was that bad, and I'm a tough lady), then went to work! After the first visit felt better. I went back on Tuesday and Wednesday and on Friday I was running over the Golden Gate Bridge on Leg 2 of Ragnar, success! Dr. Hoffart listened to my problems and knew what to do. He diagnosed things about my body that were mind blowing to me and just being aware of them I can work on myself. Dr. Hoffart's front dest staff are also wonderful; they're contagiously friendly and welcoming, I didn't mind filling out the minimal paperwork one bit. Overall, I have gained a medical parter in Dr. Hoffart, someone I can trust and turn to when my weary bones & muscles are not cooperating with my demanding physical regime (because I don't plan on stopping the fun anytime soon!). Still have not received copies of my full and complete charts as requested. The issue with the taking, and disclosing TWO patients charts has never been resolved by this business owner. Frankly, having his family members follow us around "reporting" the negative reviews to have them removed is not going to change the fact that these charts were used to abuse me in his office. Vince's "office manager" had no legitimate reason to keep copies of mine AND MY DAUGHTERS charts, and then throw them at me. I am sorry she had to comply with both federal and state law and provide copies of them for use in car accident claim. That is no reason for someone in the medical field to get all upset about and then take out that anger on patients. I was sorry to lose a great chiropractor. But no longer! The refusal to address this situation by Vince is disturbing. To attempt to bury the truth by "reporting" it everywhere is just an indication of the complete lack of responsibility BOTH of these people- VInce and his office manager seem to take over THEIR mistakes. read more

I am the other patient whose records were stolen by the receptionist at this office. I have never been notified of the theft of my records- only by the person his receptionist threw them at. Dr. Hoffart has done nothing to take care of this. He has not even apologized to me that my records were taken. He has the obligation to make sure his patients privacy is protected from his staff members who feel like taking out their frustrations on his patient- morally and legally! I was absolutely shocked that his receptionist would do this. And even more shocked that he has refused to take care of the problem. I love that he has not had any reviews since March, but now all of a sudden, because two people stand up and tell the truth about what his receptionist does, his family and friends come out of the woodwork to defend him. I wish I had gone somewhere else. I cannot believe he was paid thousands of dollars, only for his receptionist to treat me like garbage, for something I did not do! read more

Came to Dr. Hoffart after my auto accident and I have to say that they are a great team!! Rebecca is super friendly and always a pleasure to work with! I always look forward to her upbeat personality she has with everyone that walks through the door! Dr. Hoffart is extremely knowledgeable with all that he does! I have been coming to Hoffart Chiropractic for a few months now. I originally saw him for an upper back injury. I am an Olympic Weightlifter and had suffered a grade II muscle tear in my back. Within the first week of my injury, I was in so much pain that I had a difficult time moving on my own. Dr. Hoffart saw me on very short notice and within one week, my pain had significantly improved. He continued to see me 1-2x per week and after six weeks I was able to begin training full time again. Dr Hoffart and his team are simply amazing. I have never had to wait for my appointment. From the time I walk in, when I am greeted by either Rebecca or Darla, (they always have my coffee ready for me) until I chat with Brene, and finally meet with the Dr. they make me feel like part of their family. Best of all, the treatment I have been receiving has greatly improved my ability to use my arm, and even better than that it is with only minimal pain. My whole family has been in chiropractic care for many years and we moved back into the area about 3 years ago. A friend suggested we try Dr. Hoffart and now we all see him. I have seen Dr Hoffart go above and beyond to support anyone he knows in pain. He cares deeply for his patients. My sister was under his care first and she had nothing but great things to say. Dr. Hoffart has been taking care of me for several years now. I came in with lower back issues and after a few visits I was functioning pain free. I was also in 2 rear end accidents about 6 months apart. After the initial check, the protocol indicated about 6 weeks of treatments 2-3 times per week. After week 1 the treatment plan was adjusted down to 2 times per week and by week 3 adjusted to 1 time per week. After week 3 I was not showing any symptoms or pain from the accident. Dr. Hoffart and his staff are fantastic! I cannot stress enough the importance of listening to your client. (no matter what business you are in) Not only did Dr. Hoffart see me on very short notice; but he took the time to listen. Was recommended by a friend for some severe feet/plantar, neck, and lower back pain. My neck was fixed by the end of my first visit, my back by the end of my second visit. My feet/plantar have been in a severe amount of pain for the last five years even after going to multiple physicians, physical therapy, and chiropractors. I am currently a student athlete at William Jessup and am extremely hard on my body. My body was at the point of no return as I suffered from a severe neck injury shortly after my season started . Dr. Vince and his team are the best. They are always so friendly and caring. In just a few months, I went from barely getting out of bed to being able to ride my horse and help clean stalls without a back brace. I have to tell you that says a lot.
