I originally started treatment for back and neck pain and have been receiving care twice a week. One of the biggest improvements I've noticed is increased mobility in my neck, which is especially meaningful because I've had a neck fusion. I signed up the the 49$ consultation and adjustment as the ad stated. I showed up for my original scheduled time that I was sent a confirmation for and they had an error. No biggie. Come back the next day and do all the scans and X-rays. Then a second appointment where they put you in a small room and basically a used car salesmen guilt trip high pressure sales video. They said after that I would go to the front and do my adjustment. My health is important to me so I told them I would still like to sign up I just had to clear it with my Fidicuary. As soon as I let them know I would not be signing up that afternoon the attitude changed and all of a sudden my adjustment I paid for was contingent on me signing up for their 5,500$ protocol. Completely unprofessional bait and switch operation. You cannot in good faith expect people to spend over 5k$ when they don't even know if they like your chiropractor. They had good snacks in the back waiting room and got good information about my health. The overall experience felt scammy and unprofessional cult like vibes though. read more

While I understand 1 treatment is not a fix & his holistic approach & overall plan might be good. I did not like being put in a small room with him & then pressured to sign up for a more than $6100 plan to make me "well". Not only was it uncomfortable it was creepy. I don't usually write reviews, but I've been going here for a little over a year and todays experience made me want to leave a 5 star review I've had neck pain and inflammation going on for 5 days. I had limited range of motion and my pain level was a good 9. Today, Dr. Angelo adjusted me SO good that I'm still saying "wow" 5 hours later! Right after I had the complimentary shock wave therapy and now my pain level is at a 2. I want to share my experience in hopes it helps others make a more informed decision. I signed up for a 4-month chiropractic program at New Life Chiropractic, trusting the process would get to the root of my chronic shoulder and nerve issues. Unfortunately, it didn't -- and may have even made things worse. What I later found out is that New Life Chiropractic does not specialize in the C1/C2 region of the spine (also known as the atlas). This area is critical when dealing with certain neurological or postural issues -- and if it's out of alignment, traditional neck adjustments may not help, or worse, could aggravate the problem. I also want to add a correction: after seeing a different chiropractor, I discovered that my issues were actually stemming from the C7 area of my cervical spine -- not the atlas. I apologize for the confusion in my earlier assessment. That said, this should have been something within the scope of knowledge that New Life failed to identify entirely. Why did they overlook something so basic? My personal hypothesis is that they simply don't know enough about chiropractic care to be working on people's bodies. For four months, I let them perform regular neck adjustments under the assumption they were following the right treatment path. In hindsight, my core issue was never addressed -- and I now have to explore other options outside of New Life. Don't have people blindly sign up for months of treatment without even knowing enough to help them. Ripping people off for mediocre, one-size-fits-all care is unjust. To be clear -- I'm not saying this place can't help anyone. For some, especially those with general spinal tension or postural concerns, it might work fine. But if you're dealing with anything more complex -- particularly nerve-related symptoms -- do your research before committing. Chiropractic care should be personalized. Don't blindly follow a care plan without fully understanding what your body truly needs -- or you risk wasting your time, money, and potentially making your condition worse. Upon arriving to my first scheduled appointment I was told things would be done "a bit differently" as the Dr. needed to get to a family event and the staff were doing their best to allow him to leave on time for said event. I don't know if this was the reason why I spent more time waiting to be seen than I was with someone being helped but it seemed a very unprofessional way to start out when I had a scheduled appointment time. I also was told at my first visit I would receive copies of all my scans and X-rays. Over the course of 2 weeks I requested them 3 times and still have not received. I was excited to find a holistic approach to my back issues; however, it was not disclosed until my second visit that they require patients to pre-pay for membership type services at a cost of over $5,000. I need transparency when I book appointments. it saves me time if an office just tells me - "Expect to see not one patient or staff member wearing a mask. Expect staff to hug patients and stand shoulder to shoulder behind the desk. Expect staff to explain policy based on their legal rights." Place is a joke. I understand if you don't believe in covid, but don't disrespect others who may be concerned. My wife is 34 weeks pregnant and was told upon making an appointment that the doctors wore masks and that everyone who came in was required to wear masks as well. When we showed up there was over 15 people inside, not a sole wearing a mask, doctors not wearing masks, and front counter not wearing masks. When we asked about the requirement when we got there we were told by the front counter "we can't require everyone to wear a mask if they have a health condition"...so that being said, obviously the front counter staff have a health condition, the doctors and all employees have a health condition, and every single person who went in has a health condition? Complete disrespect when we called in advance to ask if they were following the proper health requirements and then to say yes, when they blatantly were not. I have been taking my oldest since she was 2 years old, my youngest since she was born, and I got chiropractor care with my second pregnancy. Everyone there is so kind and friendly! I am grateful to have found out about their office and would highly recommend them. I always wanted to experience care and when I did with my pregnancy, it was more than I had expected. This is an extremely high pressure operation designed to extract a lot of your money and time, So if you have plenty of both of those it may very well work for you, if not you need to say NO before you step in the door, because once you step in the door the pressure is on. You will not be able to say no once you sign 10 pages of paper work, are are told that you are in serious condition, requiring months of treatment. You essentially buy a pass to Dr. Smiths private Gym and you may get a hand full of adjustments, but you will need to show up often to get your money's worth, his theories are sound, but nothing you couldn't find in a low pressure office. If you need the coercion in order to get well, this may well work for you. read more

This place is so weird and unprofessional. I called in asking what they were doing for COVID and they assured me that patients were asked to wear face masks and that things were clean. I'm high risk and 8 months pregnant. I showed up and there were over 15 people in a tiny office and not one was wearing a face mask, including the chiropractors and staff, the front desk ladies, NO ONE was wearing a mask or social distancing. There were a bunch of people in one main room, bouncing on chairs and doing neck exercises. It seemed like social hour and everyone knew each other and were talking in groups, stretching and talking about how COVID is fake. Do not go here. When I asked the lady at the front desk why literally no one was wearing a mask, she said they have medical conditions. Really? The chiropractor and owner has a medical condition? You? All of your employees? All of your patients? I should have known when on the phone consult she said "With regular chiropractic care, your immune system works better so you don't catch viruses." It's a quack house. I'm so angry that they lied to me. I'm high risk and would NOT have even come if I knew they weren't taking their customers health seriously. read more

I want to start by saying I drive little over an hour every week to bring my 9 year old son here. From Vacaville to Rocklin yikes right...That's how much I trust Dr.Tim with his care. When we first went in for care my son was having allergies and asthma attacks all the time as well as being sick. He over the last few months has not had any asthma attacks and his allergies hardly bother him anymore. I would not believe it if it wasn't my own son. They have a small area for kids to wait and play in while parents are getting corrected. Cosette will also hold your little babies for you if you need it while you get adjusted. I've had her hold my 4 month old a few times. She's very precious and good with the babies,kids and well everyone for that matter. You not only get corrected here they teach you how to live healthier to help your well being all around. Cosette is a very genuine sweet girl she works the front and is extremely knowledgeable as well. The front has all kinds of vitamins and natural things for you to use. Once you go home you are also given home care that you do to keep your corrections up. Dr. Tim knows a lot he is very professional and can educate you on all of it. He knows his job and gets straight to work. Don't expect to much chit chat but that works because trust me he knows what es doing and you will be in and out feeling so much better. Prices are higher than I have seen else where but to tell you the truth. This is my health and body on the line so to me for myself and my son it's one of those things that's more than worth it. This place is a complete rip off. The staff are rude and play act to be nice and helpful. They are all about health haha that's a joke. I've been going there for a good month. They have two wanna be doctors working and my 10 yr old is stronger then they are. Your given exercises to do before you get adjusted. No point in doing them, such a waste of time. They like to rip you off here. The hispanic doctor is always sweaty after i get adjusted. I had doctor tim and he is a joke as well. He never adjusts me right. Maybe they need to go visit a gym and then come and adjust people. I've seen kids and babies getting adjusted by them so not smart. I was unable to see the results of my x-rays until I went to the health seminar. My life was extremely busy and this produced unnecessary stress for me. Additionally, it was not made clear to me that this would be a requirement as a new patient. I am a registered dietitian and health coach and did not think it necessary to attend a health lecture, although the lecture could be useful to some, it should be optional or at least made clear at sign up (payment of x-rays and first visit) that this is a required attendance for service or review of personal case. Adjustments are somewhat impersonal. Additional tools provided are useful. Chiropractic care overall is no doubt beneficial! read more

First, the impact. My oldest daughter, my wife and I started seeing Dr. Tim after I attended his Cancer Killers workshop. None of us had cancer, but I was intrigued. After the first week / first three adjustments, my wife was completely off all her sleeping medicine. Having been married 16 years, she has been on prescription sleeping meds since I have known her - a couple of them for the last 2 years. After the first month, my wife was off all four of her headache and migraine meds. My oldest daughter had problems sleeping and various other issues going on since birth. Her spinal alignment was worse than either my wife or I. The day after her second adjustment, she came back from school and told me she did 4x more push-ups than she had ever been able to do before in PE. After the first month, she marked that she was sleeping better, her back felt much better and she was able to do more physical activity. As for me, I had the fewest things going on, but I noticed I would sleep through the night again, which I had not done since my oldest was born and I got in the habit of getting up to take care of her during the night. Before Thanksgiving, I came down with a cold that was going around. I went in on the Tue and Wed before Thanksgiving, being completely congest Sun-Tue. About 3-4 hours after both adjustments, I noticed feeling a lot better and being much less congested. By Thursday, my body was healing itself very well. What makes Dr. Tim different than the other Chiropractors out there? A few things: more measurements, at-home exercises and pre and post adjustment activities. He takes a much more comprehensive view than any other chiropractor I have been to - a wholistic view. In addition to an x-ray, he also takes some additional measurements of the neurotransmitter function along the spine before starting to adjust you. It provides a nice visual of where the problems are (mine was the best, my oldest daughter's was the worst of the three of us). He has you use a home-care kit and exercises tailored to you in order to get the best results. All three of us had different assignments based on the exams. He also updates them periodically through the corrective care process. Eventually, they do phase out. When you go in for adjustments, they have some pre and post adjustment activities to help "set" the adjustment, making it last longer. Additionally, they hold once a month activities (dinner, seminar, meeting, etc.) that provide additional information on changes you can make at home to prevent disease and maximize your body's ability to heal itself. Dr. Tim and Dr. Catherine also have some great credentials. They previously traveled to support the Olympic judo, weightlifting and martial arts teams. He went down to Rio for about a week during the last summer Olympics to help the wrestling team during their competitions. Lastly, if you are looking for a chiropractor to make and adjustment here and there - look elsewhere. He wants to help you so that you have not lost 40% of functionality (which is when symptoms occur) before looking to correct the problem. Update: After two months, my wife turned down getting another spinal injection to help her deal with nerve-related chronic knee pain. She was previously getting those shots like clockwork every four months. Her pain management doctor asked about getting her setup for that and she told them a shot was not yet necessary. She has cut her pain medicine down by a third. Dr. Tim told us up front it would take a few months to have an impact on her knee pain. read more

My back was bothering me a few weeks ago and I did not have a chiropractor that I go to. When I contacted my insurance I was given a list of providers and New Life was close to my house so I went in. Dr. Tim met with me on one day, took x-rays, etc. and then had me come back the next day to review them and discuss a plan of treatment. I was just looking to get an adjustment to help alleviate the pain I was in. Dr. Tim explained what he believed my problem was and went over a plan that would cover 3-4 months, with many visits at a cost of around $4000 (of which my insurance would cover all but about $1200). I chose to find another chiropractor that day would gave me adjustment and helped me get rid of the immediate pain. If you are looking for a long-term chiropractic and life style plan than New Life may be good for you, it just didn't fit what I was looking for. read more
