For starters, I like The Joint, however I just had a bad experience at The Joint Chiropractic in Rocklin with Dr. Maria. Even though I'm a regular customer, they made me wait 30 minutes just because they claimed my paperwork was outdated, allowing 4 other people to go ahead of me. When I finally got my turn, the adjustment was rushed and barely lasted two minutes. "Going over the paperwork" didn't take more than 30 seconds. Dr. Maria refused to provide the additional soft tissue work I requested, condescendingly waving her finger in my face and insisting it would 'flare up my muscles.' I know my own body and what I need. This experience was unprofessional and infuriating. I'm reaching out to corporate for a refund. Definitely not recommended. Maybe the other chiros there are better. read more

They want to truly get to know you and want to help take care of you. I always meet up with Dr. Maria and their front desk receptionist Grace on Saturdays and they're so wonderful to be around with. So personable and fun. I'm someone who is extremely active, who trains 6 days a week. To get the care I need in regards to tightness in my body or injuries, gets checked out every time and gets taken care of. I came back to the Joint after my wife recommended Dr. Burleigh. I had been dealing with knee pain from running and had tried different stretching and exercises without much relief. Dr. Burleigh was very knowledgeable and saw an issue with my walking posture and gait and recommended specific exercieses and stretching to go along with his adjustment he provided. So I have been going to the Joint for many many years, about 9 years now. I first met Dr. Ward about 5 or 6 years ago because he would be one of the additional doctors in the Elk Grove office and then he came to this location. When I got my adjustments from him he was fantastic, definitely 5 stars. Well if you add on the polish of experience, you get absolutely amazing! I just came here to the Rocklin office because I just went snowboarding for the day and needed to get some maintenance. He is a younger fellow, but certainly do not allow that to alter your opinion. He is a very skilled and talented chiropractor. He was able to get my daughters neck in a particular spot where she hasn't been able to have any other chiropractor get movement to where it cracked. I must say that he does not give everyone the exact same treatment. He assesses his patients and caters to his patient needs. Definitely check this place out! You won't regret it! I have been to many other Chiropractors and Joint has the best service and pricing by far. I have been going to Joint Chiropractic for 5 years now paying for the annual maintenance plan and try not to skip a week of adjustment to our neck and back. My body has been less sick and more flexible as a result of my straight back and neck. So glad we have Dr. Ward at the new Rocklin location. I used to have my adjustments from him at the Elk Grove Joint. Although I do not live in the area, I do come up here to shop and eat at Roseville and Rocklin so this location would be perfect to drop off for 5-10 minutes and it's right next to the freeway. Today I had my first Adjustment with Dr. Ward. I have been dealing with a painful case of Sciatica, hoping it would just go away. But it has only gotten worse so I decided to take action and get chiropractic care. I appreciated that he listened to me and didn't make me feel rushed. The chiropractic service is solid. The way they do business is questionable. I was told I had received a package totaling 8 visits for two months plus three extra visits to start the wellness plan for 89 dollars and after two months would be charged monthly 89 dollars to continue. No way of opting out and now they charged me again after only a month. The lady was almost gleeful telling me that i was going to be charged even if I cancel it. Yup this is the Mc'donalds of back crackers and for the price its expected. So don't expect any courtesy from the cashiers. read more

1st visit was great the doctor was very informative and front desk was super nice. The space is clean and new. I had pain in my shoulder for like 3 weeks and after just one visit my pain was almost gone. A few days later it was completely gone I feel so much better now that the pain is gone.
