I am so thankful to have found Dr. Gillespie!! Chiropractic care in general has truly changed my life. Medical doctors just gave me things like muscle relaxants and pain relievers, & physical therapy for my tight shoulders, neck pain, & headaches. Nothing ever gave me relief. Dr. Gillespie has been able to improve my quality of life. For example, I fell down our stairs a couple years ago and injured my foot. I needed stitches and I was given physical therapy. But I still had pain and trouble walking. An orthopedist just wanted to give me a shot in my foot. Dr. Gillespie looked at my xrays & examined my foot. He could tell that a small bone had dropped down right below my second and third toe. The orthopedist looked at the same xrays he was looking at, but the orthopedist didn't catch the problem. With adjustments, over time, my foot has improved greatly. I can now walk around at work for 4 or 5 hours. Not only is he very adept at feeling misalignments by hand, but he has also been able to pinpoint the exact misalignment of my upper neck by checking my blood pressure with my head in different positions. It has been amazing. He didn't need to do x-rays; he could just take my blood pressure. He was definitely on target because I got range of motion back and my headache went away. I could go on, but this is getting long, so let me just end by saying I highly recommend Dr. Gillespie! Without him I would be functioning by taking heavy pain relievers and walking little. read more

Ohh I hate to do it because I'd like to keep Doctor Gillespie as hidden gem....but this guy is freaking amazing. He lives, eats and breaths chiropractic care and always trying to go one step further to really give each patient this amazing care I have honestly never seen before. I came in for an adjustment yesterday and he took the time to really work on every area...half way through we were on the extremities and he pointed out they were really out of wack and then fixed them better then the best podiatrist I've been to. It was amazing he was going through and pointing out stuff and I was thinking back, ohh yeah that's where I broke my ankle, rib, sciatic or because I cross my legs and my hip is out. Trying to remember all the things he did that made me feel like a million bucks today is hard. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Gillespie after I had been slacking on looking into chiropractic care for my lower back pain. She's known him for some time and said he was really good and she wasn't wrong. I was skeptical at first since Newcastle is a small drive, but it was so worth it! I utilized the $10 for $20 on Yelp and my first visit was just $10, normally $19 depending on what you get done. I felt absolutely amazing after my adjustment and Dr. Gillespie had some great knowledge about nutrition as well. I have been to many different chiropractors over my 70+ years and Dr. Bill is by far the best one I've gone to. He doesn't have a fancy office or a receptionist. He is a one-man operation, kind of like old doctors use to be. I've had 3 back surgeries and have currently been diagnosed with lymphedema. His methods have helped to keep me mobile and have drastically reduced my lymphedema. I haven't had to wear compression socks since being treated for lymphedema. I always feel that I get more than what he's being paid for. He's extremely ethical and honest. He will not try and sell you or even tell you that you need to come 3 times a week. He doesn't need an X-ray to treat you. His hands are very intuitive. I have been going to him for 9 years and I've never been dissatisfied. He also employs a percussive tool to administer acupressure and a larger concussive device to loosen and increase bloodflow to larger soft tissue areas. He's not dismissive of anything you wish to share with him, he listens and treats very specificately whatever is ailing you.
