Dr. Bill is a game-changer. Unlike those quick in-and-out adjustments you get with some chiropractors, he really takes the time to understand the root of the issue. I've never met anyone so knowledgeable. He actually resolved multiple tough problems in just a couple of sessions. The man's amazing. read more

Doctor Gillespie is an incredible chiropractor. I have seen many chiropractors in my lifetime. I have neck and spine injuries from being trampled by a horse. I went 12 years without any chiropractor being able to align my neck and I suffered with severe headaches. First, visit here and every visit since, he has aligned my neck and spine and given me freedom from pain. I would recommend him (and I have) every day of the week and twice on Sundays. read more

I am so thankful to have found Dr. Gillespie!! Chiropractic care in general has truly changed my life. Medical doctors just gave me things like muscle relaxants and pain relievers, & physical therapy for my tight shoulders, neck pain, & headaches. Nothing ever gave me relief. Dr. Gillespie has been able to improve my quality of life. For example, I fell down our stairs a couple years ago and injured my foot. I needed stitches and I was given physical therapy. But I still had pain and trouble walking. An orthopedist just wanted to give me a shot in my foot. Dr. Gillespie looked at my xrays & examined my foot. He could tell that a small bone had dropped down right below my second and third toe. The orthopedist looked at the same xrays he was looking at, but the orthopedist didn't catch the problem. With adjustments, over time, my foot has improved greatly. I can now walk around at work for 4 or 5 hours. Not only is he very adept at feeling misalignments by hand, but he has also been able to pinpoint the exact misalignment of my upper neck by checking my blood pressure with my head in different positions. It has been amazing. He didn't need to do x-rays; he could just take my blood pressure. He was definitely on target because I got range of motion back and my headache went away. I could go on, but this is getting long, so let me just end by saying I highly recommend Dr. Gillespie! Without him I would be functioning by taking heavy pain relievers and walking little. read more

Dr. Gillespie truly cares about his patients well being. He helped me with lingering pain in my neck and shoulder. Highly recommended!

My son and I have seen Dr. Bill for years. We've seen other Chiropractors in the past but hands down Dr. Bill is the best at what he does! He explains everything very thoroughly as he's adjusting you. He not only adjusts your spine, but he also adjusts your feet, wrists, knees and elbow...which my son loves! Thank you Dr. Bill for all you do for my son and I! You are the BEST! read more

Ohh I hate to do it because I'd like to keep Doctor Gillespie as hidden gem....but this guy is freaking amazing. He lives, eats and breaths chiropractic care and always trying to go one step further to really give each patient this amazing care I have honestly never seen before. I came in for an adjustment yesterday and he took the time to really work on every area...half way through we were on the extremities and he pointed out they were really out of wack and then fixed them better then the best podiatrist I've been to. It was amazing he was going through and pointing out stuff and I was thinking back, ohh yeah that's where I broke my ankle, rib, sciatic or because I cross my legs and my hip is out. Trying to remember all the things he did that made me feel like a million bucks today is hard. He is fast, efficient, attentive (focused on your chiropractic care) and amazing pricing...I'm going to start making this a weekly thing. read more

Our family of four has immensely benefited from Dr. Bills caring chiropractic services. He is affordable and so thorough! He's great at finding your issue and working it out. My first visit he adjusted my knees and my years of knee pain started dissipating and healing over time. Recently it was a hip, he's great at geeking out and finding the source of the pain/trauma and developing a plan for healing including targeted stretches. We appreciate his various tools for relaxing muscles and electrical energy disturbances to create successful adjustments and promote healing! read more

A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Gillespie after I had been slacking on looking into chiropractic care for my lower back pain. She's known him for some time and said he was really good and she wasn't wrong. I was skeptical at first since Newcastle is a small drive, but it was so worth it! I utilized the $10 for $20 on Yelp and my first visit was just $10, normally $19 depending on what you get done. I felt absolutely amazing after my adjustment and Dr. Gillespie had some great knowledge about nutrition as well. I highly recommend his work if you're seeking chiropractic care, it's super affordable and so worth it! read more

I have been to many different chiropractors over my 70+ years and Dr. Bill is by far the best one I've gone to. He doesn't have a fancy office or a receptionist. He is a one-man operation, kind of like old doctors use to be. I've had 3 back surgeries and have currently been diagnosed with lymphedema. His methods have helped to keep me mobile and have drastically reduced my lymphedema. I haven't had to wear compression socks since being treated for lymphedema. I always feel that I get more than what he's being paid for. He's extremely ethical and honest. He will not try and sell you or even tell you that you need to come 3 times a week. He doesn't need an X-ray to treat you. His hands are very intuitive. I have been going to him for 9 years and I've never been dissatisfied. In the last year or so his little dog, Eve, has been accompanying him to work. She is a great addition to his very homey atmosphere. Sandy read more

Dr Gillespie is the best. I have been to many other chiropractors, but Dr Gillespie takes the time you need to work on your problems. love the way he analyzes problems. He thinks about your issues and how the bones and body work. He is able to make sensible adjustments that put the body in proper alignment to relieve pain and help the body work better. He has really helped me since I was in a bad car accident. His price is very reasonable. I see him every week for maintenance. Since he has been adjusting my neck, my allergies are better and I rarely get sick. read more

I called today in dire need of help and he made time for me to come in as soon as I could get there on a Saturday. He was patient, extremely knowledgeable, and helped me tremendously. His prices were more than reasonable for the service and treatment he provides. He took his time diagnosing the issue and used many technics I have never seen before. I am now making him part of my life to stay healthy. Highly recommended. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Thank you so very much. Shauna. read more

Seeking relief from a variety of aches, pains and injury I keep my ears open to learn what friends, family or business acquaintances are experiencing when they seek therapeutic or medical attention. It was our financial advisor that hipped me to the seat-of-the-pants business in Newcastle staffed by its owner and practitioner, William W. Gillespie D.C. B.A., or Dr. Bill. Though his demeanor is refreshingly warm and friendly, which quickly puts one at ease, it is his obvious passion and professionalism that set him apart from any of a half dozen chiropractors I have seen over the last few decades. His knowledge of human anatomy is uncanny and he employs that knowledge to full advantage when treating patients. Where most DC's focus on the spine and neck, not Dr. Bill. He does work on your smaller joints such as neck. elbow, wrist and. . .your feet! And no, he does not ignore your neck and/or back. It's very up-close and personal treatment as he expertly manipulates the various trouble spots of your body. He also employs a percussive tool to administer acupressure and a larger concussive device to loosen and increase bloodflow to larger soft tissue areas. He's not dismissive of anything you wish to share with him, he listens and treats very specificately whatever is ailing you. It's unique to the third power and, as referenced above, tucked into the lower floor of a building built shortly after the turn of the century - the 20th century, that is. Spare amenities/professional treatment = low prices. His benefit is real and his fee is real, as in real affordable. My five-star rating is no exaggeration. read more
