It's an old school spot in the middle of a neighborhood. Small bar probably seats eight and obviously is filled with regulars from the neighborhood. Wonderful bartender and the patrols warmed up to us quickly. This is not a new place and nor should it be. Strong drinks, cold beers, and a good spot to watch a game. Remember, a small place. A real Irish Dive…read more The Irish Pub is great place for a drink or bite to eat after work. The friendly staff makes welcome and at ease the minute you step inside. They have the largest selection of beer in quincy, not to mention a great menu. The bartenders are friendly, witty, and easy on the eyes. Also great wings!! $6 special I got today. BBQ wings with Chipotle ranch instead of blue cheese omg to die for! So tender they fell off the bone. $4 or $5 for Wormtown is a great deal. Don't be fooled when the front door is locked... it's technically "members only" but just ring the bell and they'll buzz you in and find someone to "sponsor" you for your visit ;-) Just don't get out of hand, the locals are mostly all former Marines so they won't stand for any sh*t. However, it also means they're all full of stories so you're sure to be entertained. Unlike most dive bars on yelp this one is spotlessly CLEAN. Must be due to the fact that it's owned and operated all by US Marines, OOH-RAH!
