I've been to King's Crossing Fashion Outlets a few times now. It's not really an outlet mall,…read moresince a lot of the stores are just regular stores selling the latest season at the same prices as at a regular mall. The layout is like an outlet mall in that it's a plaza and you have to go outside to go from store to store (it's not an enclosed shopping mall). The majority of the stores are also not all that interesting to me, but hey I shop everywhere just in case there is some really cool thing just waiting to be discovered, lol. They have lots of athletic stores like Adidas, Puma, Columbia, Reebok and Bench. They have women's fashions (stores I generally like, but the prices are not cheaper than at their retail stores): Laura, Melanie Lyne, Ricki's, and La Vie en Rose. They have unisex fashions: Tommy Hilfiger, Levi's and Roots. They have other stores like Carter's/Osh Kosh, George Richards Big and Tall, Stokes, Paderno and Magnotta Winery. The only store that is truly an outlet is the Designer Fashion Exchange, which is an outlet for TanJay, ALIA and Nygard. It is huge, so if you like these brands, you will likely find some good deals. When I was there last, they had clearance items 5 for $25, and black dress pants for $3.99. There's lots of free parking and it's conveniently located right off the 401. If you go to King's Crossing and are hungry, I recommend eating at Fardella's. It's great. I wrote a separate review for it :)

Fairly nondescript selection of stores. The Magnotta outlet provided excellent customer service…read moreand their selection of wines was impressive. They have a refrigerated selection of mini sparkling wine in cans that were priced reasonably and handy to purchase to go they also tasted great. Customer service in the Designer Fashion Exchange store was non existent. Laura, Levis, George Richards, Columbia, Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, Carters and a Stokes are pretty much all the stores still open. Reebok has closed. Stokes was having a liquidation sales so their days may be numbered. Definitely a passing by and stop type place as opposed to a destination. Lots of food choices nearby, Panera, Swiss Chalet and Boston Pizza to name a few..

This little antique shop is a must stop if you're walking around the downtown area of Kingston…read more It's friendly owner is very outgoing and very knowledgeable and works hard to ensure your visit is enjoyable. I was very impressed with the amount of beautiful advertising and memorabilia from the early 1900's. The quality is outstanding and with the exchange rate the prices are very fair. I spent several hours here browsing and talking with the owner and a seller. It's very rare to find a store with such a large selection of quality merchandise. I wish this was a place I could frequently visit I hope to have an opportunity to return someday soon.

We love shopping at antique stores but this one was not welcoming or enjoyable. The aisles are so…read morecrowded that it's hard to see anything you might like, and there's no clear layout to check out specific types of antiques. It's not clearly organized by era or type of item, so everything is really jumbled. I felt nervous about knocking stuff over, despite being very careful. The prices were extremely high; I understand the value of high-end and restored vintage treasures, but there were no fun items to pick up like in other antique stores. A single teacup and saucer were around $50, whereas in other similar stores they might be $20 for the two. It made it less exciting to shop, because every item would be such an investment. Finally, I know the owner has mentioned that they see no problem with selling this type of artifact, but I and many other shoppers find it abhorrent to display racist "Sambo" pieces. There is a way to go about dealing with these items -- donate them to schools or museums, or perhaps display them with a note, for example -- but it's 2020. You don't just slap a price tag on it and leave it among the rest of the offerings.

I used to drop in once a week and would occasionally walk away with a NFL/NBA jersey. Once scored a great condition Peyton Manning Jersey and an equally good Randy Moss in the same trip. You can also find some pretty awesome jackets there, once found a roots leather jacket that went for a couple hundred on eBay. Overall I'd say this place is very good at what they do.

Out of all the businesses I deal with this is the most money hungry…read more Over the last 3 years the have dropped their discount coupons from 30% to 20%, have raised their price (some almost double), and developed a frequent shopper "club like" program which gives very little reward. It is always funny to see the occasional Used dollar store item priced higher than the original price. If a person was to look at Giant Tiger prices on small NEW appliances, home decor and pet carriers they would see a similar price to Value Village but get a clean, new, warrantied item. It's funny to see a salt rock on the shelf for $19.99 when you can get the same one in the "As see on TV" Store NEW in the box for $19.99. When you see multiple reviews comparing there prices to BRAND NEW prices, it may be time to shop around. I don't know which sites they use for pricing but those sites are not always correct. I have looked items up on eBay and Amazon and the prices can be double from one site to the next. I thought the whole concept was to give people a chance to get deals and help out local charities. I was shocked to hear how low of a percentage actually goes to charity.
