I generally enjoy shopping here, but one thing I notice here compared to Value Village is the clothing here is usually in worse condition. Do they not check over the merchandise when pricing? It seems any time I find something good, something's wrong with it. I came this morning and found a nice Roots pullover (score!) but when I looked closer there was a purple stain all over the front. Then I found a Wilfred Diderot sweater ($98 value), but noticed a large rip in the arm. I know it's a second hand store but come on, we don't want ruined merchandise. I will say that I like that the fitting rooms let you take in 9 items, rather than just 6 at Value Village. Overall it's an OK spot for thrifting, but they need to do better on quality control.

It reminds me of a yard sale crossed with walking into someone's dirty cluttered basement. Nothing is organized well, things are all over the place, scattered on little tables everywhere. Clothes are not displayed well, and the kids clothes are just piled up and attempted to be labelled with age/size. As I was walking near the back of the store, I felt a cobweb on my face (ew!) I wiped it off, then about a foot ahead of me was a dangling dead spider, hanging from the ceiling. That was enough for me...I raced out of there! I guess they don't clean properly, or there's just so much dirty clutter that they can't keep it clean. I hate to give such a negative review to a new place, but it was literally the most terrible 10 minute shopping experience. Yuck!

I used to drop in once a week and would occasionally walk away with a NFL/NBA jersey. Once scored a great condition Peyton Manning Jersey and an equally good Randy Moss in the same trip. Out of all the businesses I deal with this is the most money hungry…read more Over the last 3 years the have dropped their discount coupons from 30% to 20%, have raised their price (some almost double), and developed a frequent shopper "club like" program which gives very little reward. It is always funny to see the occasional Used dollar store item priced higher than the original price. If a person was to look at Giant Tiger prices on small NEW appliances, home decor and pet carriers they would see a similar price to Value Village but get a clean, new, warrantied item. It's funny to see a salt rock on the shelf for $19.99 when you can get the same one in the "As see on TV" Store NEW in the box for $19.99. When you see multiple reviews comparing there prices to BRAND NEW prices, it may be time to shop around. I don't know which sites they use for pricing but those sites are not always correct. I have looked items up on eBay and Amazon and the prices can be double from one site to the next. I thought the whole concept was to give people a chance to get deals and help out local charities. I was shocked to hear how low of a percentage actually goes to charity.
