Today was my first time using their framing service. Couldn't have gone better. Richard in the framing department was great. Did all the work & framing in front of me. Told him exactly what was wanted framed as I brought in a photo for a gift to be matted as well. He helped me pick out a very nice frame & matte that goes perfect with the photo. Didn't take long at all & the price was very good. Definitely will be back to use this framing service in the future. read more

I've dropped in this massive and impressive store on a few occasions mainly when the wife is putzing around for something. I think on occasion we have also dropped in here after the holidays when stuff is deeply discounted. I must say this place feels like the grand-daddy of remaining arts and crafts brick-and-mortar stores out there anymore. Yes, Michaels is still there but this franchise is a magnitude larger with a magnitude more merchandise. It's still good to have the competition though. There were a lot of customers here on a Wednesday mid-afternoon also. We only bought some kiddos' arts and crafts stuff this time, but a big thumbs up for being around and here's to continued good business for Hobby Lobby! read more

Went to Hobby Lobby to check out seasonal items and I was in store for so much more!. Seasonal items, my fav Hello Kitty and Peanuts Christmas items are all under 1 roof. I saw some great gift ideas for holidays, even some for myself. The staff showed me exactly where to look for to fulfill items for my hobby ideas. I fell in love with snuggis with food themes. They were affordable and many items there were on sale. I will be back. Private parking lor is a plus. Plenty of spots available. read more

It's like everyone mutually agreed to meet at Hobby Lobby this afternoon. The parking lot is packed. Did you know that all Christmas items are 50 percent off? Perhaps that's why I see so many customers here after work on a random Tuesday. Lots of stuff. There's a whole aisle devoted to the Grinch (both sides). I bet the Grinch would not subscribe to this commercialization of his bilious green likeness. I have so much stuff at home so I limited myself to one Hallmark set of mini Star Wars characters (it's a gift -- and it's 50 percent off). My reason for coming here today -- some cards and wrap. My wife and I absolutely love Hobby Lobby they have great decor and crafts at reasonable prices (much better than Michael's). The Dempster location is clean and well laid out. I have found the employees to be cooperative and helpful. I can understand why some people have said they aren't the friendliest but we've never had an issue with them. I love their seasonal section, we have gotten lots of decorations at reasonable prices. I wish their jigsaw puzzle aisle had more selection. read more

The one star is for the one Hispanic girl that cut my fabric she was very sweet and helpful. The nasty woman in the front was a different story. She had a grey ponytail with an undercut. Rude as hell to my mom and aunt. My mother lost the fabric ticket and she acted like it was the biggest deal. Relax ma'am your working at a fabric store that wasn't even full. Also getting the ticket again she was met with the same frump face of a woman. It took 2 minutes. They should have a meeting and remember the customer pays the bills and their paycheck. Wouldn't hurt them to be kind. read more

The staff are super helpful and friendly, and they are located throughout the store so you'll be able to locate one for assistance. Service here is worth three stars, but the store itself is worth four stars. This store has nicer things than one would find at Ikea and/or Target. Of course, my number one store for home decor is Crate and Barrel, but we cannot always afford to shop at C&B, so this is the next best thing (at least for me). I love to browse and see what is new and unique. I collect vases from around the world, and I must say, they have some beautiful and unique vases from Portugal, Mexico and Italy. The prices are fantastic and the store displays an array of interesting home decor, from contemporary to traditional to modern, you are bound to find something to suit your taste. They sell a lot of things not only for your home, but for your garden or backyard. I saw some beautiful pots made in Mexico and I didn't even have to travel to Mexico to appreciate the beauty of these pots. I will definitely be returning to make this purchase in the near future. read more

I come in here about once a week. I have never seen this blonde women, although she didn't appear new (they probability hide miss personality in the back) I brought my fabric to the table and tried to make some simple small talk. I barely spoke a word when she stopped what she was doing looked up at me and said "IM NOT A SEWING PERSON" wow, ok I better shut up.... it had a really odd measurement I asked how she calculates the extra inch she stared at me and whipped up the calculator. Ok ummm thanks??? By the way where are your pinking shears? I didn't seem to see any out, but maybe you have more in back? She points and says if their not there we don't have them. End of story. Usually the people are pleasant and will walk you over and help you look but not her. By the way I was the only person waiting. She had plenty of time. Better luck next time lol read more

Laura at checkout was extremely unhelpful. I needed to check the price of my items and before ringing anything up or doing any calls, she immediately said "it's not on sale. Do you want it?"- I asked if she was going to check and she placed a call. The area I found the item there are NO employees, so I'm fairly confident no one went and looked. I saw one employee on the floor the whole time I was there. She wasn't kind, she seemed in a rush, despite their being a line. I had three items I was considering and I put them back for just one because I didn't want to support past the 1 item. Just bad energy in the store overall. read more

I've never stepped foot in a Hobby Lobby because of their politics. Today I needed something and was shocked to see a 20 something year old woman shopping in the middle of a pandemic maskless. I said to her she should be masked up inside and she just walked away. I then saw an employee and mentioned this customer and they said it was not a mandate in this store. I don't know why I'm surprised by this. I won't be back even when they're the only store in the area selling what I needed. read more

I love the table decors and the way they ave arranged everything with color scheme is very nice.the kids room decors are very nice and the art supplies are just wow! I am disappointed that this store employees are discriminative towards teenagers using a "coding" on the intercom to watch them as they are shopping. Lingering and observing shoppers is tasteless when teenage girls cannot shop for yarn to learn to knit in peace. No wonder this store has poor ratings. Worst customer experience 3 times!!!! Manager Spencer does not care, nor do his employees. Word for word he said "we have been doing record numbers" with the pandemic. So that means no room to take care of paying customers and he claims he has no authority as "corporate makes the decisions". No wonder this store has 2 stars! The leadership is appalling. It's embarrassing as some one who works in retail as this type of customer service and leadership is why consumers will decide to shop online. The store is dirty, disorganized, no one talks to you (at least not from the Hobby Lobby staff)- its like we are a burden to them. Will no longer be shopping at Hobby Lobby. Asked 3 times to get assistance with buying a mirror and each time I was told someone would come but it never happened. It was beyond ridiculous. In addition to not purchasing the mirror, I left a shopping kart full of other things in the aisle and walked out. They didn't just lose 300 dollars today, they lost a customer for life. read more

Customer service is horrible at this location! I was waiting in line for over five minutes which i didn't mind because it was a busy Saturday and my broken foot was doing ok with my boot on and my partner helping me but tell me why when it comes time to be my turn the cashier then decided to close her lane and send me to the back of another line! Like she saw me standing there waiting with people behind me for the whole 5/10minutes and when she finished with the customer in front of me she reached under her counter and pulled out the closed sign and said "you can go in that line" and pointed to a line with like 5 people in it. I just dropped the stuff i was holding and walked out because i was not going to wait another 5 to 10 minutes in line again. It was very rude and very poor customer service. I am beyond disappointed with this experience and In complete disbelief that the cashier was that rude! read more
