Nicely organized, clean store with a lot of fun things to pick through, including items one wouldn't traditionally associate with being arts and crafts related. Prices were generally good, although there were definitely some head-scratchers in the mix. Items could have used another round of de-junkifying. Even within the broad and generous parameters of craft supplies, there were definitely objects best placed in the dumpster rather than store shelves at any price, including free.
It's the customer service experience where the store needs major improvement. One can certainly understand that a relatively small, relatively narrowly focused thrift store wants to be sure that donated items are useable. However, the donation process is a deeply off-putting and unnecessarily complicated gauntlet of shifting days, items, quantities, approval process, and so on. Perhaps a less onerous procedure would result in more quality items being made available?

Both my companion and I were absolutely gobsmacked at what we heard, and I regret not simply walking out with empty hands. We resolved not to return any time soon if ever again - despite the inherent appeal of the store to our needs and interests. read more
