It turns out the owner of bleachers scammed me when the card was really worth four dollars. after knowing this, I went to a different card shop and then this man was so helpful. I do not recommend bleachers card store unless you find the perfect price and search up the card before you buy but even then the owner of bleachers card store is probably not gonna let you buy it for the price that it really he's trying to make money by scamming people. But I went here once and this manager was helpful, but I don't think he really paid attention to what the card was really worth knowing that maybe if I go back another time he will help me more and if I look it up, he might accept the actual pricing but so far knowing what I know I got scammed I might try it one more time and see how it goes. Maybe is different or framing something but all I know is I don't expensive they're not worth. Maybe if I went back again it will be a lot different of an experience and I might drop a five star.

Find a gallery whose artists enrich your soul, whose works belong in your home. Get to know their work. Buy a few pieces. My personal favorite is Zia Gallery in Winnetka. Zia's small space houses the work of 19 extraordinary artists. I have followed their works for several years, have purchased a few pieces, and cherish every opportunity to see new additions. Without fail, my visits there are enriched by talking to Anne Hughes, who not only can illuminate her own creative process, but is as intimately familiar with every other artist's work as with her own. Visit Zia's website to see examples. Then adopt one of their artists. You don't have to spend a fortune. The pieces I have bought at this gallery have ranged from $200 to $1200 and I cherish them. Others I've admired cost much more. Buy what you can afford, but don't let these vibrant galleries die. Just. Do. It.

I thought about getting a new piece of furniture, but knowing that redoing our master bedroom is on my list of home projects thought I should hold off. At first the rip didn't bother me, but then it got bigger and bigger. It probably didn't help that my children kept sitting right on top of the rip. Sigh... Finally i couldn't handle looking at it and reached out to my decorator to see if we could get it reupholstered or if she could help me find a new piece of furniture. She suggested getting someone to sew the rip. She said it wouldn't be perfect, but would hold me over until I was ready for the rest of the room. We had just finished a bathroom remodel and think she was well aware I was over pouring money into the house for awhile. I did request a quote on Yelp and Padi responded right away. They confirmed they could fix the rip for $225, but warned me it wouldn't be perfect. We set a time for them to come by the next week and they showed up right on the dot. I showed them the rip and they looked skeptical that they could fix it, but got right to work and 30 minutes later it wasn't perfect (as they claimed), but it was SO much better...and well worth $225! My biggest mistake was not calling them right when it started ripping because I think then it would have been even less noticeable. I"ll definitely reach out to them directly in the future for any furniture restoration needs. They were responsive, reliable and did exactly what they did they were going to do. In fact, the finished product was even better than I expected!

I went to the store to pick out the fabric and later that week they came to pickup the cushion. They had to order the fabric and then did the work which took maybe two weeks total? They delivered the cushion and it looked perfect! I'm very happy with it.
