I found the item I was was looking for but it was locked. I had to go find an associate. Three were gathered at the framing station. Still no one greeted me! They kept on with their conversation. And yes, they noticed me. I left the store without purchasing anything but not before I stopped at the register to inform the cashier of what just happened.

I had a horrible experience at Michaels store today. I will never shop there again. I went to…read morepurchase several items. Three small items were not in my bag when I got home. I spent $55 AND the items missing were around $15. I called the store from home and was put on hold after I said I was missing those items....I got in car to return to store. I drove to the store and no one ever returned to the call 20 min. later. I spoke with the manager and she said they were looking at the cameras, I said, great! Twenty minutes later they said a second manager was going to look at the cameras again....they were making feel like I had done something with the pen and stickers? I thought no one is making me feel this way and I re-purchased the items and left. When I got home the manager called me and said they found the items in question outside? She said I could come by and pick them up and she apologized. I won't be going back EVER!

Then she began mumbling to herself while I was still standing in front of her. You'd think that an older woman would be a little wiser and nicer but that wasn't the case here. If she's having a bad day or something then she needs to go sit down and calm down till she can speak to customers without being rude to them.

There is a huge selection of paint your own pottery, canvas painting and glass fusion, plus they have a pottery wheel! It is so hard to find a pottery wheel around Memphis, but they have one here! My two problems with this place are as follows: 1. There is no more than TWO cashiers on duty at a time. They can be painfully slow on some days, even down right moronic. 2. This one is more specific. I came in on break from work, hoping to get a drink as I was particularly parched that day. The cashiers tend to give me shit for not being "friendly." I guess they think they're entitled to get a reply back. I just wanted to get my drinks and go, but this one lady decided to say a little something extra to me: "It's okay, we know you don't care about saving money. You just wanna get your drink and go." Excuse me? Did I just really hear that? A cashier talking to ME like that? I'm just trying to get my drink, and head on back to Goodwill's break room. I didn't go back there for another three days. I kept thinking about WHY that cashier thought it was appropriate to say that to me. I still shop there, since it's literally right next store to the Goodwill I work at. I haven't seen that cashier again, thank God.
