So many nooks and crannies filled with excellent art supplies - from student/beginner level to premium artist grade. A lot of items were 10% off, some more of a discount so very affordable. The store is run by a wonderfully sweet couple and the staff is very knowledgeable. I heard a customer asking for something obscure and the staff took them right to it, told them how to use it and suggested other items too. You can get lost in the aisles and really get your creative juices flowing. Or come in for something specific. The aisles are very organized by type of product. If you need any art supplies, or even if you don't, this is a treasure and a must visit.

While they have all kinds of cool things..... wait I did buy my neighbor Bill a pair of Vincent VanGogh socks and a tiny bendable man model... I usually buy spray paint. The staff is pretty friendly and knowledgeable. When they see me they head stead the they can cages to unlock them and if you see there's one color completely out of stock, well I'm sorry it was probably me. She dry mounted a map I had previously purchased online, and helped me pick out the appropriate push pin size. I was so pleased with her service I had another map dry mounted as well and gifted to my Godson who's learning the 50 states. Brandy also provided the hooks needed to hang both maps. Their selection of holiday stuff is always fun to browse, despite never being able to afford it, but they do run sales often! I love that there's basically always a coupon code somewhere online. They carry the best self drying clay and sculpey, and they have a fabulous selection of cheap acrylic paints! And best of all is that the employees at this location are always kind and friendly, and happy to accept discount codes.

When I first moved here, I went to Educator, for lack of better options, and was shocked at how little there was for my classroom. I was able to find a couple of options, nothing spectacular, but nothing awful. Fast forward to this year. I went with one specific purpose in mind - find a cute purple border (or one with purple included in the design, I'm really not that picky). I was absolutely amazed at how they went from a limited amount of items (in a fairly big location) to almost no items in the same space. I ended up spending out the nose for a gold border because it was the best I could do. So I drove across the street to Michael's. That had exactly what I was looking for, and at a much cheaper price (even though I needed to buy two packages instead of one, I still came out less expensive). I don't know why I even tried to go back here. A continual disappointment and a shame considering how hard many of the teachers here are trying to raise us out of the depths of the educational basement.

I offered to pay for the gift wrapping, and they still would not wrap it. It should be said when ordering online there is an option to have the items wrapped. It should also be noted the entire store is having a 20% off sale at the moment. Does that mean they won't wrap anything you buy? I have spent hundreds of dollars at this store in the past. I bought my big green egg here that was over $1500 and also bought hundreds of dollars in accessories for my egg as well. This may seem trivial, but nobody cares about customer service anymore. They certainly don't at Outside & In! They have lost a customer today.
