Haven't been to this location before but they are pretty clean and very well lit. I've gone to others where I feel had more items, wether it's on sale/clearance or not but overall a good option to stop by for any craft/home needs. Customer service was nice, they seemed pretty busy though for what seemed to be a smaller store, possibly short handed but still available for questions if you happen to find yourself needing help. This place seems very large and spacious, but didn't have everything I needed. Nonetheless, they had impressive discounts like any other Hobby Lobby with discounts up to 60% off for Christmas. Definitely worth the stopping in, glad I visited, will definitely be back, come check them out! This location is off of Palmetto and 441 in Boca Raton. Best place ever! Huge store that takes an hour to walk through. Customer service is supreme! Very helpful in such a big store.

Store was clean, neat and well stocked. I had a needlepoint custom framed. i worked with Andrea who was such a wonderful, talented and patient person. She took her time and helped me select a frame and border. Andrea framed my needlepoint ; I couldn't be happier with the final product. Andrea did an excellent job!!! Akin to Home-Goods and Michael's cross bred, this store has a wide range of mass produced home decor, small furnishings, and seasonal decorations, mixed with a plethora of fabrics, costume jewelry, and home-ec craft-store level hobby supplies. Much of their stock in exceedingly overpriced (especially the pre-fab decorative items) but they usually have coupons available online. The store touts itself as having a Christian foundation, though I wonder if they donate at least 10% of their profits to the poor as a tithe, as a real Christian institution would. This does not affect clientele beyond the store being closed on Sundays...and the tendency for staff to be extremely friendly and nice (though sometimes in a cloyingly corporate perfunctory kind of way). read more

Done with Hobby Lobby. I just started going back into stores this month. Attempted to return floral items today with tags on but no receipt. Store credit would be acceptable but since bought over 60 days, Assistant Manager, Bryan, offered a 10% credit for my purchase. Even with receipt, if over 60 days, you would not get your full refund. Seems that Hobby Lobby will make self serving exceptions due to "Covid" but not in the best interest of their customers. As I read the only review that was written before this one I can only wonder, is this a Michael's employee that hates the fact that this AMAZING store opened and it's 1000 times better than theirs? Besides less expensive?.. I've been in this store a good 8-10 times already, specially when I was planning my vintage wedding back in November, I got 350$ worth of decorations and signs for my wedding for 1/2 the price! I'm a bargain hunter but I love quality, and this store meets both! Not just that but the cashiers have always seem helpful, and I don't really get why people get so upset when an employee can't find something, I'm sorry idk about her but I've been an employee in retail and when a store is this big and the employees are new it takes some time to know everything to the very last detail! Hobby Lobby is amazing. They beat out Michael's and Joanne's Fabrics by far! This location has a large parking lot, and is also near a Smokey Bones and Target, so it is a great plaza for running errands (actually one of my favorites). Hobby Lobby literally has everything. A full on fabric section, that has trimmings and all types of closures as well as tools needed to sew and such. They are fully organized and have a section for everything. And yes there is so much to look from, but all you have to do is ask your nearest HL employee and they pretty much know exactly where everything is. I have gone in and asked for so many random things and they have never failed me. I am an art student in college so I am in here probably five times a month if not more. They have great coupons and the employees always do everything to help you with their product knowledge as well as what will be the most effective and cost worthy way to execute something. I like being in Hobby Lobby in general, honestly it is just a good positive inspiration. All the different patterns and prints just gets my mind flowing. And may I add 90% of the time their products are priced cheaper than at other Arts & Crafts stores, and Hobby Lobby is both on the West and East coast I just found out. read more

Located on the corner of Palmetto and 441, this store is perfectly placed among Target, Dollar Store, Sally's Beauty supply, Aldi. It is a recent addition, but already, very popular. It has brought life back into that space that once was Bealls. I went on a Saturday night and was surprised to find many shopping carts readily available. Additionally, the staff was helpful and once there were more than two people waiting in line, they called for back up. This hobby lobby is very clean and it was easy to find items and their respective prices. Many departments such as wedding items, and decorative frames, were 50% off at the time of my visit. This store receives a four star rating due to its friendly staff, clean and organized location and overall value of items. I discounted one star because I was not able to use 40% coupon on item that was already discounted. Additionally, the store is closed on Sundays. read more

Once my credit is used I will never shop at a hobby lobby again!! Bought 90 dollars worth of letters. Went to return and lost my receipt. Paid cash. Manager stated can only give me a credit and they were currently on sale for 30% off. I bit the bullet and had to accept this. Keep in mind the letters were in perfect condition and their price stickers were still on!! Found a few things, went back to returns then manager tells me she was wrong and it's 50% off. WTF????? I became pissed and told the manager I was being treated like a criminal and I will never shop here again!! Seconds later she apologizes and tells cashier to just take off the 30%. All in all their attitude was condescending, rude and holier than thou!! Michaels is now my go too and I've got a big mouth so times my feelings by 20. The store is great. A huge selection of anything and everything you could want. This one star review is for the horrible horrible "manager," Louie. When I asked about a certain part I needed, the manager told me this isn't a hobby store (in full seriousness) WELL excuse me for thinking HOBBY lobby is a HOBBY supply store. Honestly he's the biggest idiot I've ever met. If hobby lobby isn't a hobby store, then I don't know what is. Then he tells me the part I need is out of stock and I should check the other hobby lobby stores in the area. Okay, great thanks. Any normal manager who's half way decent at their job will always offer to call the other stores to see if the product is in stock. Well, Louie isn't good at his job. He goes in his office to play on his phone. I ask the manager if he could check the other locations to see if they have it and he tells me he will. I'm waiting and see no Louie so I decide to call the stores and turns out they have the product I need in stock. I go back to Louie and ask if he called the stores (just for shits and giggles) and he tells me he did and neither place had them in stock. That's funny since I just got off the phone and they do indeed have it in stock. So not only is Louie an idiot who doesn't know the type of store he works at, but he's also a liar. I can handle idiots but I have no tolerance for liars. With hobby lobby's values, I would think they wouldn't want a manager who lies to (barely) run their store. read more

The store at the time of visit was very dishovled and we could not find anyone working there to help us. When we went to check out, there was one checker and five people at the front stocking various items. One of those five could have opened another register to try to help us all get it of the store, especially given COVID and social distancing. read more

Yor shiny new store in Boca is just sad and having poor customer service in a service oriented town is NOT a good idea... First visit, employees have NO IDEA where things are, an employereleaves to get me a price on something and never returns. Employees seem lazy and unhelpful...no greeting, no offers of helps, no smiles Second visit, employees still have NO IDEA if or where things are, framing department not functioning because someone called out sick, my return took 23 minutes from start to finish and one item from my first visit was return at a reduced rate because the cashier on my first visit must have rung it up from a different department and they can't give me full refund????, managers leaning, 4 employees and manager picking up a spilled rack of frames while I stand and wait and wait for help, wood items advertised as on sale but the signs are on a polyresin isle and I ask where wood is and manager points to the top of the shelf (out of reach) and I ask for a step stool so i may shop and he says there isn't one, fall stuff reduced but no one knows if there is more in a different area....still no smiling, no greeting, no welcome.. Ugh...this store doesn't seem like a place I would do business with frequently...had a Kmart employee feel. read more

When I walked in to Hobby Lobby, I was very excited! The store is huge and filled with everything you could need for any type of craft or project, it even has home goods. They definitely come close to Michaels. The only thing that I had a problem with was customer service. At Michaels if you ask where to find a certain item the employee with take you there directly. At Hobby Lobby I asked and employee where an item was and they just told me it was located in the craft aisle. Of course I assumed that I would just be able to find it on my own but I couldn't find it anywhere. I walked through every isle 3xs before I asked again. I found another associate and asked and she was just like It's in the craft aisle. I said ok, I will look again. So again I went up and down the aisles 2 more times. At this point I got pretty furious, I already have been here longer than I wanted to be here, I walked around to find someone else and it just seemed that there was only 3 people working total in such a big store. I finally found someone walking out of the back room and I asked her and once again she was like in the crafts aisle. I got mad and told her 3 people have told me this already, I don't see it can you just show me where it is. She seemed pretty annoyed and showed me. It was hidden behind a whole bunch of stuff that didn't belong. When she showed me she was like "it's right here, is this all you need or do you need help finding something else in this store" I was very taken back by that comment but I held my words in and said that's it thank you, and she was like mhmm and walked off. Writing this review I'm actually making myself even more angry. It takes 2 seconds to show someone something, you work in customer service, you should know you will get questions like this. Why not just show the customer the first time and be done with it. read more
