I've been dropping by every time we're back on the islands for over 20 years, and it's still the first stop off the plane. I will say though, service can be a little rough sometimes. Some days are good, some days not so much. But honestly, that's never been the point of this place. You're not coming here for some polished haole sales pitch of some sort, you're coming because these guys know what they're doing and they'll get you what you need so you can get back in the water. And that's where they really shine. Need a j tube? They've got it. Need a new band? They can fab it up in like 5 minutes so you can still make it to the spot on time. They almost always have exactly what I need in stock and at a fair price. You'll see some of the best divers in the islands and honestly, some of the best in the world just casually stopping in. The shirts and designs are also totally underrated. They've got their own local style and I've of course picked up a few over the years and they hold up good. Hanapa'a is one of those rare functional places you can always rely on. it's rooted in the community, and it delivers when it counts. If you dive, you already know.
