Located on the corner of Commonwealth & Reservoir St (diagonally opposite the Royal Albert), HDC do dry cleaning & pressing and best of all, cheap cheap bag washes. I haven't had any dry cleaning or pressing done there, but every week I drop off my laundry, and come back the next day to a bag of washed, dried & folded good times. $10 for a full bag wash (and that's with quite a lot of clothes). The place is run by a really lovely couple who are great with faces, after only around 3 visits I stopped needing to do any paperwork / receipts stuff. I simply dump my bag, and the next day as soon as I walk in the guy grabs my bag, takes my $10 and off I go. You can pay either when you drop off your clothes, or when you pick them up - it's your choice. They also take eftpos, but there's a $1 surcharge.

They really know how to dry clean your clothes with class and finesse. My family also uses this establishment for their dry cleaning needs, and they have been just as happy and satisfied as myself. My clothes feel smooth and comfortable once they have been dry cleaned here. Their turnaround times are quite reasonable, and their hours are fairly flexible to cater to those busy city workers as well as to those care free locals who have all the time in the world to pick up and drop off their dry cleaning. Found this on yelp and set out walking early Sunday morning with my laundry. Was quite a walk but the weather was perfect. It is a very tiny place and looks like most people drop off. I asked if I could do my own. I put it all in one washer and the woman put the detergent in. I went to the Smoking Gun coffee shop while it washed. Came back put it in the dryer and took a walk. Cost me 5 to wash and 5 to dry. You just pay her at the end, only cash. Walked back to the hotel through the botanical garden.
